hey
I said that I did not have root before the update
In the tutorial , we need to have a rooted phone and then update to version 11.0.A.7.5
It is no good for me
You don't have to downgrade!
Get this http://www.unlockroot.com/download.html (UnlockRoot Pro) - watch out for toolbars during installation, just uncheck them and press Next.
And click ROOT it works on latest firmware.

Seems to good to be true ..
Any one tested it ?
I did, today, it works perfectly. I am not making this up.
Edit: just enable USB Debugging and the program will do the rest. You really don't have to downgrade.
I belive you
It's just I've never heard of this magic thing before...
It didn't work earlier, it was fixed in that program 2 days ago I think and it can root 11.0.A.7.5 just fine.

Works like a charm on 11.0.A.7.5! The free version UnlockRoot will do it. You do not need to buy the pro version.
I will try it then
Can I unlock the boot loader with root ?

Does UnlockRoot need an unlocked bootloader?
No, it doesn't.

Do you have PC Companion installed on your PC and USB Debug enabled on your phone?
I had this problem and the only thing I could do is to root it on laptop. I guess drivers are messed up on your PC or something.
Can it root latest tipo update .22?
EDIT: http://www.unlockroot.com/unlockroot3.php
Here writes that support 11.0.A.0.26 The latest is .22

motorchopper didn't work for me on the latest firmware. Looks like works, but it's only partial root. You need the remountfix.
Had to use this instructions for a full root.

No you don't. The above will give you FULL root. Trust me, I'm full rooted and have unlockable bootloaders. I've deoxded, busyboxed, changed by notifcation bar height, icons, everything that needs FULL root and it runs fine. Before that with only motorochopper, it wasn't a full root. The above remount fix will.
just flash 15.0.A.1.31 kernel when you done with your rooting with doomloard method reflash your 15.0.A.2.17 kernel

Thanks for the tip , downloaded "D2303_18.0.C.1.13_CE" 4.3 Stock from a website flashed throught Flashtool then rooted with TowelRoot is nice because is generic not branded but the big problem came after 4.4.2 update because it was not OTA i updated via PC then the root seems to be not present i also checked " Survival mode " on SuperSU Pro but it seems to work only on OTA updates , can anyone recomend me a Generic firmware wich allows OTA up to 4.4.4 Please? Yes what you said before it has logic but the problems are the next .. TowelRoot don't install a SuperSU or Superuser App, and the next problem is that the firmware i talked about the ota are up to 4.4.2 not 4.4.4 , that's the reason i asked for a ota up to 4.4.4 firmware bro ... you want to say if i wait for ota 4.4.4 will come ? when i wanted to update from 4.4.2 to 4.4.4 was telling me to connect to pc and update trought it ...
EDIT: Send me the link anyway Thanks

6. After Process was done rebooted and checked with RootChecker from Google Play
7. Updated to 4.4.4
8. Rooted (Again just to be sure ) with EasyRootTool

I don't know unless you try it , i suggest you to change you firmware btw to install a "fresh one" , then when you are on 4.3 root with towelroot without making any changes, then update to 4.4.2 or 4.4.4 via ota , when you reached you wanted firmware version then install supersu & root checker (but don't update supersu binary) from google play just to be sure , when you finished with downloading the tools open easyroot & root it and let the magic happen , after that update the supersu binary check it with rootchecker reboot & have fun best wishes.

So I'm pretty confused there is a lot of information out there and it's conflicting one another in my view. I want to achieve root on my stock rom and possibly be able to flash custom roms. My situation is I have the Sony Xperia E3 D2206 model with stock android 4.4.2 and when I punch in the code it says that my bootloader is not unlockable. I have installed flashtool and drivers and tried the "BLU" button and it says it cannot unlock my bootloader.
From my understanding I can still somehow root this phone, can somebody point me to which guide I should follow for my phone?
Thank you.
Can someone weigh in, I'm sitting here a long time with my phone in hand.
