Hey Developers. I have been a flash developer for years now, lately I have been experimenting with publishing to android. But I feel so limited in performance and features when compiling from flash. That's why I have started learning Java.
Right now it feels like climbing a mountain, does anyone have any great beginner resources for learning Java Android development, that you really felt worked for you. Would be great if it took into account my Flash ActionScript 3 experience. I will probably become a nuisance the coming time, but hopefully I will be able to help someone else at a later time
The game I have been working on is called Pop Smoke : Remastered and is a Strategy/Tower Defense game . I'm thinking about leaving it as is, fix bugs, and focus on a new project in Java (I've got a good idea ). Feedback is greatly appreciated, I'm not looking to earn any money here so I will post some free codes, if more people are interested just PM me for more.

I am currently in the concept stages of my game, but would really like some assistance as I grow with it. It is ranged currently in concept for devices running 4.0.1 and above.
It is an FPS, aside of Group joined combat which is not FPS. I am 100% new to this so I have a LOT of growing to do, but could use some experience from others in growing my idea.
It is an in depth type of game, and will require a LOT of both storage, RAM Access, and LOVE. (yeah I know it's 3 things, but LOVE is part of any game.). If you have time to give some thoughts, idea's, or pointings in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.
Love always MD.
Hey everyone..
Just to share and learn from each other.
Are you a professional developer or hobbyist?
if professional, how long have you been working as a developer? What did you study in college?
and if hobbyist, do you consider working professionally?
Sharing is Caring
Hobbyist !
I do it for fun ! and learning new things (c#) !
I am a hobbyist developer though I am trying to break in getting employment as a coder, as a recent uni graduate in software engineer Im looking for a java based job, but I enjoy stretching out my skills and android seemed a logical step, plus i'd love to be able to create silly games. While im under no illusion that i'll get successful on my own it is a great way to build a portfolio. Plus I enjoy being able to work on my own ideas and be creative. I've only just released my first app but have plans of my future projects each a tiny bit more ambitious
I am trying to learn it and get better at it. I'll give my best
Hi everybody!
This game is a first complete product of our small three-dude team. We're seriously digging in gamedev and wish to continue with more complex stuff. But currently investing our time in small mobile games to gain some experience.
Our promote video
Well, we tried our best...
The idea of the game is somewhere between runner and team-manager. Your goal is to run through hordes of enemies, smash the boss and get to the tavern. During the run you can catch random bonuses, drink beer, use axe-accelerator and throw enemies off your shield.
And, of course, there is a little story between stages .
Our game is based on Unity engine, it's awesome for mobile development.
Viking Roul is completely playable without ads interruption. We hate p2w games.
So, there it is. We will glad to see any comments. Feel free to criticize, our goal is to learn something and get better.
You can try it on Google Play (iPhone version currently in develop)
Ah, just forgot!
You can post your questions and reports in our groups, in social network you prefer.

Thank you very much
Well, we started about a 1.5 years ago, in the middle of 2016. But it's our first complete project, so, we wasted a lot of time to learn, optimize, research and so on.
Hope we'll be faster next time
Hey there! My name is Josh! I wanted to share some information on a project me and some friends have been working on for a few years now that recently has taken off! It is called aproject ARC Android rom creater's. Pretty much what it is is older guys like me with knowledge on coding and things of that nature. It is a after school/summer program for children and teenagers to learn the art of coding and building custom roms from source! We are currently hoping to expand this program into other states. Me and a friend originally stated it for our own kids and soon all the kids at school found out about what they were doing and learning and as you know kids these days can't live without there phone! So we figured.. since we can not beat them why not join them! Or better yet.. teach them! And that's what we did! I would live to see this go into more states and get more kids involved with it! As some of you may know.. the custom rom era is getting dry and it would be amazing to see these young minds bring more cool crap to the table! So we are currently seeking other like minded people that would love to get the kids and even adults! Into this! We also are currently seeking donor devices for them to learn on as this year for the summer camp we already have 46 students involved! The classes are free so getting devices for them to learn and practice on is a little hard with free classes lol! So if anyone would wanna help in that aspect as well that would be fantastic! Thanks for checking this out and hope to see some people interested!

Hi, Xda Android community. I am really excited to share my game with you. Which is in beta and I am testing with multiple users to improve the game for better quality and user experience.
This is a simulation game where you serve people with multiple dishes from across the globe the way they are served. Serve customers and get money in return to run your business to more cities.
Download the Game for Android here!
I am still working on the graphics and development and would love your feedback. I spent almost 6 months designing and developing this game. Still working on the animation.
Hope you guys like it. Please let me know if you found anything which can help. I'd be really really thankful.
