Hey I think there is some problem while installing Angry birds. Stuck at the install screen
While installing on my 5801 i stuck on boot screen
I think this is only for i 5800

hi dear,
this is my first post as android user i bought 5801 four wk back and done something in root and able to run live wallpaper. now today i thought to give upgrade one try and install K1 ver which u r also running and many others after succesfull instllation i saw my home screen and found that Twlauncher is not running and i am getting Force close everytime.
Now i try two more time and same thing happen also there is no icon for setting in menu so i cant see if other things are ok like IMEI no etc...
i am new to this OS and want to know if any other person is having the same problem.

Ok so here is an Update
1) installation succesfull K1
2) Home screen no Twlauncher
3) No wallpaper changer phone book etc
4) Reboot
5) recovery mood +hard reset
6) reboot
WORKING FINE.
now only have to see if there is any change in terms of performace....
my model no changed
i used this firmware on my 5801, now the boot screen says i5800. In kies too it is being recognised as i5800. restoring earlier firmware doesnt help. kindly advise
i need original firmware for i5801...

Hey guys, Im new to this site and pretty new to the Android operating system. I just got myself a Gionee E3, Dont say it doesn't exist or anything because its not on the website. Its not released yet in many places and Im in China where Im pretty sure they are moving the stock first. There is a video of it on youtube, just search "Gionee E3". Basically, its an amazing phone for the price you pay for in hardware specs (I think) but the problem is the Gionee stuff that comes with it. Im unable to do anything related to google accounts much less download from the Play Store. The current version is 4.2.1 and I've read that other people with Gionee issues in the past have had to root their phone and install custom firmwares and all that just to get google play store working. Now, Im ok with that, just that there aren't any instructions for this particular phone out yet, in the mean time, anyone know of any other methods I can try? Please??

Tried that first, didnt work. Also tried downloading the apk from the computer and installing it, didnt work. Think theres something in the phone that is stopping it form running Google stuff. Will need to wait until theres more info/a way to root I think.
Five simple steps:
Step 1: Root your phone using One-Click root or any other free software
Step 2: Install Root explorer apk from apkmania. Note: Place the apk file on your sd card. If you have a file manager, use it to open the apk. If you don't have a file manager, Open the web browser and type: file:///sdcard/ (name of the apk file).apk
Step 3: Install System Tuner pro apk. This allows you to uninstall all the crappy apps you don't need.
Step 4: Install google play store apk. Available on-line.This app allows you to officially download all the apps.
Step 5: Go out and Explore. :good:

Did anyone install custom recovery on Gionee E3 from above link? Please confirm. I have successfully rooted the phone. But have not been able to locate custom recovery like CWM or TWRP.

Cons -
1. Gaming Performance - This is the most frustrating thing that i found out as this mobile scores awesome on benchmarks .
I was facing many issues playing even the casual games like fruit ninja . I don't know what was causing this issue but the game was lagging . But on the other side a game like Dead Trigger Played awesomely..!
Also i was facing a lil bit of frame drops in games like
Subway Surfures
Temple Run 1 & 2
Asphalt 7
But on the other side Front line Commando Played Awesomely
I am still a little bit confused and thinking what is causing these issues. So i installed nova launcher , rooted my phone , deleted all the useless crap that gionee puts on this phone , and installed some task killers and an app named trickster mod (mobile needs to be rooted)
and did some tweakings in the app trickster mod and then the games that i mentioned played awesomely but for the time when the application trickster mod is running and each time u lock and unlock the phone u will need to launch this app to regain the access to the awesome performance.
2. No custom roms available yet
3. Heating issue near the camera when playing high end games
4. Camera Crashes Sometimes (Rare Times)
5. Screen Blacking Out and To do a Battery Pull (Rare)
That's pretty much u will need to know before buying this device.
Overall a good device ,
Some things Gionee needs to fix like Making their UI more simplistic and stock
Increasing the gaming performance by changing some software of the phone in their further updates
Removing the Pre-Loaded Crapware

Copy the my magzine launcher,magzine widget
To system/priv app and set permission and reboot install other launcher like nova first
Install xposed app settings and navigate to touch wiz home and set settings like given screenshot and save
Download resolution changer app
And set height1580 and width985 while holding portrait
Then you are done reboot once

And By Mistake I changed permission of build.prop file to write for Group and Others.

Good day sir. I have a few questions regarding this ROM. I already flashed this rom, but when i reboot my GT-S7582, it requires SIM LOCKED CODE.. my GT-S7582 seems do not accept other sim.. how can i fix this? Thanks!!

But I don't seem to get call (sim1, sim2) buttons on dialing screen like you (which is not a problem), nor do I seem to have other apps instead of messaging and gallery. Wifi, Bluetooth, USB Tethering is not working
I installed lollipop extreme rom on my Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 (GT-S7582). but some minor bugs were there,
1) Wifi hotspot tethering was not working
2) Bluetooth internet sharing
3) USB tethering was also having the same problem
Time should be align right as usual, left align is not so good......
useless apps should not be included in this rom.. like too many notification apps are there.
please fix these problem .... rest rom is perfect

Hey guys, my name is Oli. I have been modding a few Samsung devices for about 3 years now, but I am new to XDA so yea.
Anyway, I was wondering if some would help me ASAP I was on my Tab 4 and I was getting rid of apps that I didn't need like some GApps, Browser, Sound Recorder, Email etc and then I accidentally removed the gallery app (Sec.Gallery2013.apk) and you could probably guess I really need a kind member to help me if you could.

To find it,
1. Make sure you device is rooted (Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 SM-T530)
2. Open any root browser (I use ES File Explorer)
3. Navigate to Device>System>priv app> and find Sec.Gallery 2013.apk
4. Copy to Internal Storage / Ext SD Card
5. Upload to Dropbox, Mediafire, Zippy share or anything else and send me a link through email [ABOVE] or reply on here.
If you could you would be a LEGEND!
