Hi!
I've been researching allshare. It looks cool. My TV doesn't have it. After doing much reading, it seems this is just wifi streaming (DLNA). I don't want to spend money for that Allshare dongle to HDMI. Tell me if this would work.
I have a windows 7 PC with wireless N. Is their an app for Windows that can receive the Allshare stream from the Galaxy S3? I'm mainly like the idea of mirroring the S3 screen on my 52" monitor connected to the Win7 PC.
If Allshare is just a wifi protocal. How can I set up my PC to use it?
Thanks

I've got Sony Bravia TV (KDL60EX720) - When I connect my Samsung tablet 7.7 p1000 model which is sitting on a dock which has a mini hdmi connection which runs into my tv via a mini hdmi to hdmi converter it does not show up as a connected device.
I've taken the cable out put it back in to see if the TV recognise - but Not happening.
I've put the tablet in sleep mode and turned the display back on to see if that helps - NO
Any tips or suggestions on if anyone had a similar issue connecting hdmi dock to sony bravia tv?

Delete this thread mods. No longer required. I've fixed the issue.
Could u give us the solution so next time someone is having similar problem they could find your topic and try if your solution works out for them? It would add some information to this already quite quiet forum. Thanks!

Hey, im want to mirror my screen from my galaxy s6 to my samsung smart tv UE40ES6710 but the problem is that the wifi from my smart tv is broken, also i cant scan for wifi cause it doesnt find anything and sometimes it crashes and hang up when i try to connect my tv wirh my wifi. So my question is can i mirror my screen from my s6 to my smart tv WITHOUT having my smart tv connected to wifi??? I tried a usb wifi adapter but when i plug it in my smart tv it doesnt get recognized, but the wifi adapter is ok cause it works on my pc. i tried every usb port on my tv but it doesnt help. Can i use something like screen mirroring or quick connect but without have my smart tv connected to internet??
And no ethernet cable, too
Try a Chromecast. Plugs into hdmi, has its own Wi-Fi, you can mirror your phone. $35.
EDIT: ^ What he said.
Chrome cast is cheap and awesome

Is there any other way to stream my screen and sound without chromecast? The problem is that my network adapter from my tv seems to be broken and that the software is absolutely buggy too, i couldnt update the girmware from my smart tv with a usb so i need to try another way without buy something new like chromecast stick or hdmi to micro usb cable.
I don't think the S6 supports a cabled connection, so ìf the WiFi on your TV is broken a Chromecast is going to be cheaper than replacing the TV connection.
Hi guys,
I wanna ask u about HDMI/MHL support on P9 Lite. I need to stream from my phone to Samsung TV. Im missing audio when using wireless screenmirroring. Thanks for your answers.
Use a Google chrome cast is the easiest option but I don't think it does support an microphone usb to HDMI but their cheep converters so it's worth a try if you got the cash

Hi
I have a P9 lite with mirror share but when I start searching my smart tv it don't find them
I have a JVC TV on which I used to connect without effort. Now the TV suddenly asks for a password and my phone wont connect anymore. TV says security pass successful but the phone says connection failed.
If you already have smart TV, there is stock feature in rom with cast from WIFI :?:
Hi I'm using RoW 5.2 firmware and I noticed that there's no mirroring cast anymore. I just bought a MS Wireless Display Adapter and it works flawlessly with my other Android 0hones but not with Shield Tablet.
Is mirroring really not supported? Anyone can help me set mirroring? Thanks!
