Hi,
I bought a S-view cover for my S5 but it is not working.
The phone does not recognise it.
Any work around or app I can download to make it work?
I am pretty sure it is an original cover.
Has the 2 metal contacts, Samsung packaging, price was 50euro's.
Thanks for the help.

Same here... But I don't think I bought the original ones. Since it is only 11$ US.
Just curious if the there any options from the setting should be activated.
if it's a orginal cover you should have these options in system-accessories

I have a few that runs on apps. they don't do too well, but they do have more functions through the windows, like dial a telephone number to make calls.
I also have a non OEM that cost me USD 6 and it work's well.

I just recently came back to android from a brief stint with a Nokia N9. Brilliant phone design but no support. Anyway, I had purchased a Nokia car dock that was made for the n8 but fit my n9 perfectly. And now that I have a One S I come to find out that it would work well for almost any other phone. No matter the brand. Even my friends iPhone 4 fit in it nicely.
Its a Nokia CR-122. And I got mine from ebay.

The bottom side of the dock is spring loaded so it will fit various different applications. And on top of that it doesn't look like an eyesore that most of these universal docks look.
Can you post some pics of it with your phone in it? Also, does it fit the one s if it has a case on it?

is that a 'hard' case? can you provide the link?
I am looking for a case that I can use & put them on & take off all the time without leaving scratch on the back of the phone. Do you think this case will help it?

I have the same case, bought from DX.com for 2 dollars.
Its sillicone, some polymer, soft but thick.
It's really protective, but it bothers me how much bigger it makes the phone.
Also, you have to be carefull when removing it because the backplate tends to come off with it, so that it might wear down on the backplate fits.
hey there, i came up witht he idea of buying one, as I seem to need it lately..
Is there any good one on ebay / amazon? What do you advise?
Thanks in advance.
Paulo
I'm kinda interested too. I would be glad if I could put the phone with official bumper on...

No1 here? :\
Cmon I need suggestions..
I think this accessories bundle include a sports armband...

You have to complete with the www in he beginning of the url... i'm allowed to post outside links..
From past experience, I would recommend the Tunebelt armband. I have not bought one for the Nexus 4 yet but I will soon. I had a Tunebelt for my Samsung Galaxy S(original) and I was able to use it with my HTC One X, a tight fit without a case, but it worked. They are very comfortable and have a considerable amount of stretch to them. You may be able to get one of the ones designed for a larger phone if you plan on using a case with the Nexus 4. Make sure you measure your arm to see if you need the extender which is sold separately.

Looks great!
Looks really good. Please let us know what you think about it when you get it.
I wonder if the S-view window will work with them or you need to download an app that emulates it.

Description in the EBay listing mentions needing to download an app.
yes i saw about downloading the app.i like less case
i like back cover replacement, enough to protect it without adding to the total size. leather feels better then all the plastic ones out there.
will post a review when it shows up

That's a deal breaker for me. Downloading a questionable app from a Chinese website and having it run all the time on my phone doesn't sound appealing. Plus, I am unsure whether it will even work as intended. If I'd go for a case like that, I'd pick one without the window, but that's just me.
The app wasn't really with it,but it did work. however I do like the case not a big fan of the window there was none that replaced the battery cover with no window
Here is the link to the case

Qialino leather case review ( lots of pictures)
I received a "t-mobile replacement" for my "insurance refurbished Note 5" . Look at the differences. The one on the right is either an old hardware revision or a bad refurbished.

The CPO (certified preowned) I bought is the newer style with FCC stuff on the bottom back.
Sent from my phone...
i see a Note 5 that had the back glass replaced. The picture of the lense - idk what I'm looking at. Be specific when you post stuff like this. It looks dirty either inside or outside but idk what is going on.
Why did you use your insurance?
Tmobile is good at many things; refurbishment isn't one of them. They send I my self and a friend of mine have both received refurbished devices that should not have been able to pass quality control with even a cursory inspection.
Samsung did make a change on the S-Pen piece that was getting broken when you inserted it in backwards.

They didn't have my previous phone so they sent the N5 instead. Yeah, the lense is dirty inside. T-mobile replaced it with no question asked.
