is that a 'hard' case? can you provide the link?
I am looking for a case that I can use & put them on & take off all the time without leaving scratch on the back of the phone. Do you think this case will help it?

I have the same case, bought from DX.com for 2 dollars.
Its sillicone, some polymer, soft but thick.
It's really protective, but it bothers me how much bigger it makes the phone.
Also, you have to be carefull when removing it because the backplate tends to come off with it, so that it might wear down on the backplate fits.

not sure about that model but the only i had for my old himalaya had plastic all over

The one you might be looking for is also found at e-bay. It is a silicon case that has a hard cover screen to protect the phone screen.

I myself bought the aluminum case. Good thing is that I can use the phone while the screen stays protected. Big downside however is that the aluminum case completely blocks the GPS signal. Bummer.
I still look for a crystal clear case that has a flip to open screen protection like the silicon one.
Personally I find the silicon version look like you just put your phone in a condomn.
The shop where I bought the phone from said that leather cases also block about 60% of the GPS signals.
those crystal screens are not hard at all..
I've gone through 2 of it.. most of the time it crack from where the bottom is due to weekly removal of the top to clear all the dust.
Ok I know we are getting a docking station and gps mount for the car but is google making an official case for the thing? I've been reading a bunch of nothing online....
I'm getting a full skin for it but want a thin almost non existant case like the case mates barely there for the iPhone

I guess I'll have to wait for that, I'm still curious to see how the extended battery is going to look or if they will manage to keep it pretty flush.
I would bet some of the best extended batteries will end up being similar to the HD2 ones, where they have a kick stand built in!
As for case, there are some gels starting to roll out, and what not, but given that the phone is not even a month old, not as much as we would like. Give it a couple months, and most all accessories that are available for the iPhone will be out for this.

That's a deal breaker for me. Downloading a questionable app from a Chinese website and having it run all the time on my phone doesn't sound appealing. Plus, I am unsure whether it will even work as intended. If I'd go for a case like that, I'd pick one without the window, but that's just me.
The app wasn't really with it,but it did work. however I do like the case not a big fan of the window there was none that replaced the battery cover with no window

Qialino leather case review ( lots of pictures)
I picked up a few of these for about $4.50 each and really like them quite a bit. They have a good feel to them and fit the phone perfectly. The buttons still have a nice soft feel when pressing them and don't feel stiff at all. The only thing I don't like is that the back isn't raised enough to protect the camera. I had it on my V30 and previous phones. Its a great case. The only complaint is the flexible TPU edges turns yellow over time, if you get the clear color. I always get the smoked color which doesn't discolor over time.

My experience in past with hard cases was they were so slippery that they slid all over the place...no?

this case has a small TPU nipple on each corner of the back, so it won't slide around
