[Q] usb connection to pc

hi everybody ... i hope every one is fine .
my prob with my glxy fit is : unable to connect it via usb with my lap but it doesn work ... i used sam kies and a separeted samsung driver but nothing works .
on my cell's screen it's montioned the connection usb to pc but on computer nothing appears .
so what can be done here experts

Check the drivers for android. Connect PC with Internet, and connect PC and Phone.

If u want 2 connect your phone ass a mass storage device, go 2 settings and uncheck "USB debugging" while it's connected 2 PC!

i al ready intalled ""samsung usb mobile drivers v 1.3 "" but after connecting the cell with pc it montiones the android cnx on phone but nothing appears on usb connection window(pc) ... in kies it still freezing on ""connecting"" and nothing changes ...

no it's not that the point brother ... it's already worked as storrage ... but i need my pc to reconize it as a first step to root it

Try Samsung USB Driver for Mobile Phone v1.4.103.0 and Setup cdd android 1.0.0.0.exe.

the lasted driver is corrected insttaled but cdd android i could found it on the web ... can you give a link please bro ...
bcz the drivers won't to fix the prob yet ...

Try cdd 0.92.0.0. I've long ago download it from the Internet and I do not remember from where I downloaded it.
Which Operating System you have?
Search on Google "setup for compiled driver disk 1.0.0.0" for your OS.

hi it's me again brother ...
i put my cell on download mode to root it and the pc has finaly reconize it as usb device ... after passing the root (cwm ) following the correct steps of vio tutorials (odin 4.38 ; beni_cwm-5_ext4_v2, beni 1.0) after the reboot when i try to enter on recovery mode the black screen still freezing on the samsung logo and nothing happens ... plz help me about that bro ...(normal mode is working .

[Q] SP tools stuck at Searching

I have a Canvas 2 ..I downloaded the drivers,the firmware and sp tools and I followed the procedure and clicked on "Firmware upgrade" then I switched off my device and plugged it but it doesn't start the flashing process.
In the bottom bar it says "searching" and doesn't change at all !
What do I do ?
My device is not rooted or neither had a CWM and i don't want to root also !
Now what should I do to get my device updated with official stock jellybean ?

Bro I to had a similar problem
1)if you have drivers of any other android it doesn't work in my case install samsung kies
2)use drivers of mobistel cynus t2 drivers for best results

See I have these drivers installed.
1) Samsung USB Driver ...since I have a Galaxy ace also.
2) Micromax Driver which is found in the mobile itself when connected to the pc
3) Mobistel driver
4) VCOM driver
that's all ...why one of them should I uninstall ?

Uninstall Samsung driver bro couple of days back while flashing through flash tools it keeps searching before that no problem I have remembered that I have installed drivers using kies to flash through odin jst tried uninstalling kies and samsung drivers my problem solved

Even after installing VCOM drivers ..I faced the same issue ...should I restart my pc and try or something ?

I don't know how but the problem got solved by clicking the DOWNLOAD BUTTON ! ...
Now i'm using jeallybean which is bloody fast.

Cannot connect my phone to pc

Whenever I connect my phone to the PC I'm not getting the connecting options..like whether to use the USB mode or MTP device etc. This issue started after I flashed JMP Xtream rom 3 months back. I told my problem to the service center but they are saying that they cannot help me.
I tried using my friends data cable but still no luck. But whenever I connect the phone its getting detected as an unrecognized device. I can charge the phone but cannot connect it. Also USB OTG is not getting detected even by using apps like stickmount and USB host controller..
Im irritated with the prob and require some help...any solutions for this prob..Im currently using Suvi v12 rom...

Try to install ur phone drivers correctly
Or i can suggest u to do this:
Download moborobo pc suite
Enable usb debugging on ur mobile
Connect ur phone to pc
Now open moborobo
You can also use wifi to connect to ur pc

Phone is not getting detected at all when connected with cable...Its still coming as unrecognized device...
Wifi is the only option available or using the bluetooth connectivity option....
But there should have been an option to restore those connection options back...specially after flashing stock rom using CWM...

Download vcom drivers
It may help u

Try reverting to stock rom or flash some other custom rom as drivers are unable to serve.OR you can (after making a backup) wipe all your data.....restore factory settings on your fone as dis will remove any virus or faulty setting(some system paths nt shown in general).

Tried installing VCOM drivers long back but still its getting detected as unrecognized device...
Also tried restoring through back up of stock rom v2 using cwm but still no luck
Just now tried by restoring to factory settings but no luck again....
Instead of installing drivers on comp..are there drivers for phone and all??

"Run "regedit"and select the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/MountedDevices" folder. See all the "Dos Devices" listed? You'll have one entry for each physically mounted drive (HDD or Disc) plus you'll have one show up for each USB drive you attempt to insert. Double click each device listed and seeifyou seetextsaying something like"U.S.B.S.T.O.R...". Once you find that device, right click it and select "Rename". Now change the drive letter to something unused... like Q: or something. Close regedit, disconnect the USB device and reconnect again.

If nothing is helping u den u must revert it to stock rom(unrooted) n get ir warranty back n take it to service crntre.
After everything goes right u can root it again and do vatever u want.

USB DEbugging Problem

I tried to install CWM recovery on my A110 for installing MMX grand ROM.i enabled USB debugging and connected phone via USB after power of the device.in SP Flash Tool phone detected and it showed 100 % then stopped.Then i tried to enter CWMN mode by pressing Volume keys plus power buton,Nothing happens.Its just blinking the screen only.Now if i connect the phone to USB after switching off it,it automatically switching on. USB debugging is enabled in menu.but is not working.Anybody has any idea? i am a newcomer, Once i Flashed the phone using SP flash tool and updated to Jelly Bean.this is my only experience :crying:

Remove your battery and after few seconds insert it again and try, it should work.
If it doesn't work flash removing battery...I have flashed once like that.

Hi,
I checked removing battery and inserted it again,either it automatically power on or will show A battery icon with charging in the screen.Also tried connect without battery.Phone is not detecting

[Resolved] [Q] I hard bricked Lenovo A536 Mediatek/ MT6582Mdevice

I tried to downgrade the kitkat version because I couldn't update my apps, using a flash tool.
It then shut down and now does not turn on at all. When I plug into the computer the USB gets into a cycle/loop of connect and disconnect. Please help me if you have the time.

no. But I think it goes on '''META MODE'" ONLY on the computer for a few seconds.

It shows Mediatek preloader usb vcom port (com7) alternating with mtk usb port (com6).

I downloaded the latest firmware from
"THIS is the latest original ROW firmware (PC Flash Tool installation)"
This whole guide was fine, it worked for me.
But the problem was when I tried to downgrade the firmware to an older version.
I tried to replace the lastest official firmware with this one ROM Android 4.4.2 (older official needrom(dot)com/download/lenovo-a536/

What do u mean by "it is constantly going off while installing"
Does it boot in recovery mode? Please be as specific as you can while posting questions.

it does not boot in recovery mode,
while trying to install mediatek usb vcom drivers phone constantly connects and disconnect and i am unable to install drivers..

I don't think you need to connect phone during installing drivers and phone will stay connected after properly installing DA Vcom drivers

I have similar problem
Hi, please I need your help. I tried to flash stock ROM but I hard bricked my phone. When I connect phone with computer I'm holding volume up button. In device manager it shows "MediaTek USB Port (COM4)" but after three seconds it disconnect. This is why I can't flash ROM. It's everytime disconnect after three seconds.. Please help me.
