[Completed] [Q] USB video out for lumia 710 - XDA Assist

Can any1 please help me with usb video out in lumia 710... i use reality rom. nd m not into cooking.. so is der any XAP. or something easy way out.. please..

Please understand that XDA is a World wide site with members speaking several different languages. Hence English has been established as a Universal Language of exchanging information for members. It helps us help you better. If English is not your first language then may I suggest utilizing Google Translate as a mechanism ? I am afraid Texting lingo does not translate well and is difficult to comprehend.
Having said that I think you are referring to the Reality Rom Thread. If there is an issue with any feature of the Rom, then you might be better off posting on the Rom's thread so that the Developer is aware of any bugs. Also other users of the same Rom might be able to help you.
If you can't post due to 10 post limit then here's a nice Tutorial on making the 10 posts. Postcount limit in developmental fora

Forum responses (None or too complicated)

Hello everybody on XDA developers,
I found a lot of useful information on this site, don't get me wrong BUT.
More and more I'm getting under the impression that new topics often get no or little replay because the user is either a newbie or he asked a question which has been asked before. Now, I'm no newbie although I'm not an expert either. I asked several questions and the responses are poor.
There is so much information (most of the time too complicated for non computer specialists) that it is often easier to launch a new topic. However, if one doesn't talk or know about, changing .nbf files, writing Batch files replacing HimaUpgradeUT.exe files and only God knows what else, you get little or no response.
The day somebody asks me, in some aviation forum, about the pressure changes in a JET engine which is going from SUBSONIC to SUPERSONIC flight or the aerodynamic effects on a helicopter rotor which is going into autorotation or other pilot related stuff, will get an answer adapted to his knowledge so he will understand what I'm saying. What else is the use of a forum?
Maybe XDA-developers should add a forum for the "less gifted" in the Forum index.
Anyway, Happy New Year to all of you.
well maybe if the problem is that the specialists have little patience or problems transfering their knowlage into something mear humans can understand the new forum would just have a pile of unanswered threads
i think the problem you address are really 2 problems
1
general pocketpc questions mainly i think from people who are used to cellphones and cant call themselfs superusers on normal pc's they need it explained in a cellphone kinda way. these are questions like
how do i make IE stop displaying pictures and stuff like that
2
people who dont really know that much about complex stuff like changing their rom and manualy intering all the grps settings, in the new rom
and adding things to their extented rom and such
these people often would mostly benefit from a guide with pictures and possible a list of the most used cellphone company settings
I'm not sure I understand your first point, but I do agree on your second one.
Now we only need someone with lots of time and motivation to make such guidelines with step by step instructions and pictures...
Greetings

Hello, i have been coming here for some time, and reading searching trying to learn and understand . I have been trying to find threads on how to cook your own rom, have been playing around with different kitchens and just trying to read and figure it out by my own.
But no success so far non that i would call a fully working rom
Either i need someone with to much time on their hands, or a xda cooking dictionary that explains the technical terms in a childlike way
So i am just wondering if anyone with some knowledge and experience could help me out? through PM and mail or whatever.
Thanks
Christian

[Q] Where to start?

Hi im new in this forum, and have been reading alot in the last couple of days and am really impressed how strong the community is here!
In my job i had to programm microprossesors alot (in C and Assembler) and i really liked it and now i wanted to start with programming for android. But i have no ideea where to start because the knowledge here is really high... That is the reason why i have some questions
Wich thread's should i read first? (are the programms needed in that thread?)
Is there a thread where shortcuts are explained?
Or in general with what should i start?
I'm using a HTC desire HD if that makes a diffrenz.
thx for the help and sry for my english havent used it in a while
Your English is better than mine and i'm a native
The only advice i can give right now is to get your post count up so that you're able to post in the Dev sections of the forum!
Welcome aboard.
Hello and welcome to the forums
I myself am also starting to learn programming for Android and here are some good websites to get started.
http://developer.android.com/index.html
http://androidforums.com/application-development/
http://www.anddev.org/
http://www.codinggreenrobots.com/
I would also like to know if there are some books people recommend when getting started for a more structural learning and explaining things in the process.
First thanks for the quick replays.

Greetings,
Thank you for using XDA Assist.
First, you'll need to create an XDA account so you can post in the other sections. Then perhaps you should visit XDA University.
Then any further questions can be posted here:

Difference Between a 'Noobie' and a 'Newbie'

Hello everyone!
I usually see people refering new member as a 'noob'. They shout at new members like they should be gifted knowledge by God since their birth!
BUT, there's big difference between Noobs and New. I hope you'll understand my point of view.
Let me tell you difference as a definition:
●Noobies: These are those people who are either new or old to existing condition. But they never want to learn. They ask question like "I can't do this" instead of asking "How to do this?"
They are usually pain in the... and they are born to irritate developers. Because of them, thread gets some unnecessary posts. NO developer force any member to flash their ROM or Kernel. Developers love when people report bugs in their ROM but hey wait! There's two method of reporting (let's see two method by two examples):
1). Noobs: Useless ROM, doesn't support call recording feature.
Good members: Can you please add call recording feature in next build? Else ROM is perfect. Thank you.
2). Noobs: Why do you even make a ROM that doesn't support VoLTE? Please leave XDA. (!)
Good members: Hello, your ROM is so smooth. I have great experience so far. Just want to know if you can somehow add VoLTE in your next build. It's really a requirement in India. Thank you!
Till now, you can easily differentiate between Noobies and other members
●Newbies: These are totally new people who are new to existing condition but they always wants to gather information somehow. They always try first and search for info themselves rather than asking aimlessly.
Always remember, we were newbie too at first.
Differentiating is pretty hard here. But you've to make sure to NEVER act rudely with them. They are new, if they don't get support, they'll loose interest in Android and XDA.

Best you can do is that check their total post count on XDA.

I must say you did a good job differentiating between noob and newbies:laugh:
It would be much better/easier to suggest all the noob user's to use XDA's search plus feature
