[KITKAT] Adreno [email protected] Driver - Sony Xperia L

I just found out that Adreno 330 Xperia Z1 Driver works fine in our Xperia L
Download Link :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2620298
This one seems to have better OpenGL ES 3.0 support than [email protected] (graphical_glitch_fix2.zip), OES 3.0 intensive app like dolphin-emu no longer crash.
I don't know about the performance on other OpenGL ES 2.0 games but I think it's worth a try if you are OpenGL ES 3.0 freak :silly:

Tested on FXP322 and FXP323, few days of use, no reboots and crashes so far.
GFXBench 3.0 works on Xperia L now, wasn't working on [email protected]

Does it work 100% on our xperia L!!!!

Well, it works on my C2105 on CM11 FXP Build 322. can't guarantee though, so prepare for backups just incase.

Can you make more tests?
To know if it stable

Is there any noticeable difference in performance and / or graphics?

i'll already tested on carbon and fxp...for me it's stable.i play asphalt 8 and there's no problem..

I don't know but since FXP323, the performance on Sonic Dash, for example, was outstanding comparing to Beta 2. But I think more tests are needed to know if it is completely compatible with our loved L

Added some test.

Working on CarbonRom KitKat [Nightly/Release][4.4.3]
The system is a bit more smooth now, Clash Of Clans game also got smoother.
Asphalt 8 lag reduced when playing with High graphics + 4x MSAA enforced for OpenGL (anti-aliasing)
There are not many notable differences, but it works.

Hi,
I tried to do as per video.
I moved files as per our folder structures and tried to zip it again.
Now When I try to flash it from Philz, I get error "installation aborted".
Do I need to change updater-script?
Am I doing mistake in making zip?
Just curious to know.

You can download for example fxp 326 open the build and push the files in to the build.I have tried it but it won't work. You will get bootolop as I got.The drivers need to be modified to work on xl.Btw to make a flashable zip you need to make a update script.

Pure CyanogenMod+ will come to J,Miro,E but no exact plan for Tipo, E Dual as of yet.

no, I use right apktool becasue I don't have any problems to recompile framework jar/apk (1.5.2), error occurs with apps from system/app, not with all apps but with Phone.apk allways. It's frustrating.
About Pure CM, maybe add CrossBreeder? I used seeder and it reducet lags a lot!

Here's the chances,
*Small Apps have been introduced
*Sony MyXperia app is pre-installed, it is an
alternative to Google’s Android Device Manager
*Camera quality increased with improved HDR
feature.
*Front camera’s black and white bug eliminated.
*ISO settings in camera added.
*Shooting videos indoor at 720p mode doesn’t lag
now.
*RAM increased to 785.6 MB from 777.7 MB from
1 GB total available.
*A little bit more space was seen in internal
memory ( as confirmed by some users ).
*LED notifications flash differently for each app.
*Overall performance increased.
*Google Android Device Manager seen in security
settings.
*No OTG cable support.
*Improved Multi-touch.
Thanks!

hey guys, I updated my XL C2104 to latest firmware but there is one problem in Camera functionality.
Whenever I set ISO to 100, after one photo it goes back to auto mode.
This is very frustrating because in Auto setting XL photos are coming very Noisy.
So is there any solution to this?
But overall Camera has improved both front and back.

CM 10 FXP 231 Review

So, I just updated my Xperia J to FXP 231 CM10. Previously, I used FXP 222. The bugs I had on FXP 222 were fixed.
Bugs on FXP 222:
1. Force close of system UI.
2. Android process is not responding.
3. Force restart.
4. Inability of using speaker during a phone call.
So, after using FXP 231, all the bugs are fixed. No more force close of system UI. And the speaker phone can be used during an active call. Of course, it's much faster than the previous version. Nearly no lags. (so far). Smooth scrolling. Opening apps in a blink. I don't know about games. ( I am not a gamer).
In my opinion, FXP 231 works flawlessly.
(If only guys from FXP provide a custom kernel to overclock the CPU)

To install:
- First of all, flash to stock ICS. I've tried to flash the stock JB. It worked. But the problem is, the ROM did not recognize my SIM card.
- Copy the gapps and the FXP 231 to your SD card.
- After flashing to stock ICS, flash the boot.img taken from the compressed FXP 231 file.
- Enter recovery mode. Wipe data/factory reset, wipe dalvik cache.
- Install the FXP.
- Install the the gapps.
- Reboot
The reboot process will take a bit longer.
So, if you already use the FXP 231, please drop me your review.
Thanks.

have installed it, thanks.
but, i'm downloading the stock ics rom. i guess i really need that to solve the sim problem. anyway, i flashed gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip and i think i missed a lot of things. have you tried to flash gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip? i'm just waiting for my downloads to finish and i will flash again.
edit: i flashed again the rom but this time, i used gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip. there has been an error (AOSP keyboard force close). i tried reflashing the rom with gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip but still has the same error (this time i tried fixing permissions via CWM). i tried again for the third time, and now, it's working again, fast and smooth. (i always wipe data/factory reset, and wipe dalvik cache)
now, a question. is that error related to flashing the gapps for JB4.3? i really believe it isn't. what do you think guys?
thanks.
Concerning that you were flashing the JB4.3, yes, it might be the cause of error. I've tried installing gapps other than JB 4.1, my system UI stopped working.

thanks for your input but it seems that the newest firmware (4.2.2) hasn't got recovery yet then we can't flash anything through cwm since we haven't got it. In the other hand, I posted an application that can be installed freely (only need root) compared to CWM.
We haven't got CWM for latest firmware right?

thanks for your input but it seems that the newest firmware (4.2.2) hasn't got recovery yet then we can't flash anything through cwm since we haven't got it. In the other hand, I posted an application that can be installed freely (only need root) compared to CWM.

Yes this can be used in both kitkat and lollipop....tested in aosp base rom euphoria! The difference is actuallt negligible though...so can't say much about this mod.includes pure performance X, adrenaline boost, supercharger v6 and a few other init.d scripts for extra tweaks! This can be flashed over any custom kernel too cuz has nothing to do woth the kernel (boot.img)

hey buddy.....this is great...after flashing it on cm11 , battery life become awesome...and multitasking is also improved..so thanks for this .
Well I flashed this on cm 12.1 . asphalt 8 a bit performance improved maybe. But minimized and browsed Fb, after returning back to asphalt 8, the game restarted. Don't think that Multitasking improved.
BTW any app for tweaks will appear after flashing the zip file?
Ps- new to this.
