Hi, i would like to share an application that will improve overall loudspeaker sound quality and maximum volume.

No CWM needed, just install the apk file
If you already know what you're going to do next step are:
1. Make sure you're rooted

2. Install the application to your device
3. Open it up, accept superuser access, then hit install!
4. Follow onscreen instructions and your device will be rebooted
5. ENJOY new whole hearing experience!

There are other sound mods that are better. Try acid audio it's good there is also One in the xperia z forums that is awesome have it on my XTZ and my ZL can't remember the name of the xperia z one but it's made for the xperia system

thanks for your input but it seems that the newest firmware (4.2.2) hasn't got recovery yet then we can't flash anything through cwm since we haven't got it. In the other hand, I posted an application that can be installed freely (only need root) compared to CWM.
We haven't got CWM for latest firmware right?

the original post is 5th September 2013. Why did you flash it? It's not compatible with latest firmwares.

From the looks of it, I think your firmware is corrupted or it might just be faulty hardware. Did you try using flashtool and install a new firmware?

Are you on any kernel that allows OC ? Maybe you are overclocked and CPU can't hold it or the power frequencies or what ever they are called are wrong.

You mean voltages. If you are using an older version of Thunderzap, that might be what is causing all your problems.

Yes voltages. I forgot the word. I had that problem on Thunderzap, phone restart's for whole of the time as the voltage table where set wrong.

Just flash the latest 4.2.2 firmware using the flash tool. Everything will be set right if it is a software bug or else just give your XL to the service centre. They'll take care of it.

[v4.4.2] KitKat Camera: The Best Camera App (in all conditions)

Hi there,
After spending like a month trying any camera app (paid and free) yesterday night I discovered that the new KitKat Camera 4.4.1 (which has been improved to support better pics on Nexus 5) seems to deliver great shots in all conditions; especially in night scenes, on day light is on par with manual (everything auto).
So from today I'm starting to use this as a daily camera.
Since I'm tired of claims without proof, here some comparisons (left kitkat, right stock):

I suggest to disable kitkat gallery because editing (with filters) doesn't work, and so instead will use the beautiful Stock Album.
p.s. I have not a tripod, so in night mode I tried several times to make a shot in auto without having a blur effect, I can't do better than this -.-'

I'm unable to do that since it needs libs and frameworks. You could try to unzip and test just the camera apk.

will make some comparesment tommorow via stock camera, this kitkat one and best camera app shown somewhere here. For now this last app has far greater results than built in stock one. Which is sad. And good at the same time.

I have tried and found that that application layout is broken. The control buttons of the Kakit Camera are on half display and overwritten by the navigation menu. I am running the stock ROM with Dual Recovery. I am still testing it, but the image quality looks similar to stock camera for me.

For the layout, you're right, tested now, I didn't noticed it before because my keys are hidden (since I'm using pie).
Btw in daylight they are pretty close (which is good), you should try it where the auto-mode fails for example in low lights.

I think you can decompress and install the apk inside system (just the camera one).
BTW, I think is better to flash it since some libs maybe necessary to be updated.

OTG will never work properly. The power isn't there to power it. Firmware updates will never fix this.

Its not sony's mistake ,, its your mistake .. You must have missed something or forgot to make an APN .. etc

for OTG to work so its not too bad.
The .12 exploit works to root the .14 firmware.

after flashing .14 what I found that nothing changed
In my opinion
1) Front camera is way better. Can take better pics at night (I dont think so it's same as previous .12)
2)Main camera has also improved a lot. (The only thing changed is an option automatic upload, MANUAL ISO still lag on low light)
3)More sensitive auto brightness. (I thought so)
4)Proximity sensor bug SOLVED!! ( Agree with you)
5)MultiTouch problem SOLVED! ( NOT SOLVED. try hold the anywhere in the home screen and try some "clicks" with ur other finger, it still released that mean multitouch still there. Now I believe that it's hardware problem for our xperia L)
6)Display quality has increased! (better colour depth and more optimized) ( I disagree sir, it's same as previous firmware)

I hope sony had solved all issues. though i haven't updated yet.

this has been some improvement in that eh been working on xperia m2 with android version 5.1.1 which after testing and carrying out certain checks in addition to review the source code that sony developer has hosted on its website and review script and check and compare parameters written to them today I present my mod cpu lollipop xperia m2 in its first version which is better use of the system in general has made many bug fixes related to the frequencies normally was bringing in default 787mhz so it had the optimza frequency 787mhz 300mhz on making use of dual-frequency forcing the system itself have limited performance I present my mod has been corrected him and added new parameters which only use a single frequency as minimum 300mhz on a 1GHz CPU to improve performance so often gone optimizes the processor does not use dual frequency you test it and verify the results.

My brightness is always set at 50% and I've no lag at all. It also has nothing to do with this op.

Either restore the BACKUP that you SHOULD of made before flashing this mod if you even have one, or re-flash ftf via flashtool if not as it doesn't look like there is a mod removal zip. Not all Mods come with removal zips that's what BACKUPS are for.

@kaiiori I've a question though. If mp_decision was turned on, wouldn't that make force turning on cpu2 and cpu3 impossible? Because they are turned off based on the mp_decision's workload parameters.

Check your build.prop for this code and edit it according to the lowest frequency for the T2U (I think it's 300000?)
