OTG will never work properly. The power isn't there to power it. Firmware updates will never fix this.

Yeah thats true, at least you just need to use a power supply and a cable like this

for OTG to work so its not too bad.
The .12 exploit works to root the .14 firmware.
after flashing .14 what I found that nothing changed
In my opinion
1) Front camera is way better. Can take better pics at night (I dont think so it's same as previous .12)
2)Main camera has also improved a lot. (The only thing changed is an option automatic upload, MANUAL ISO still lag on low light)
3)More sensitive auto brightness. (I thought so)

Just flashed this, can confirm it works! Very smooth too

• Calls
• Data (3g/2g)

• GPS (takes quite some time to get a fix though)
• Keypad mapping is working for default European layout.
No funciona / Doesn't work
• Proximity sensor while calling
• Front Cam
• Back Cam
• Non default European keyboard layout are not yet supported (you can contribute)
• Difficulty to type the PIN, so disable SIM's PIN code

Does your cell connection completely cut out for a few seconds when you turn the screen off? I tried it earlier, and mine cut off for a few seconds every time I turned the screen off

Hmm - what radio are you running? Guessing it could just be a radio problem for me

But what -seems- to work for me, is swapping out libhtc_ril.so from the latest CM7 build and putting it into the ICS .zip before flashing - knock on wood

Problem is that after turning on usb debugging and after that when screen gets lock again screen doesnt gets open only black screen like fxp 223 bug
please help
what to do
i tried flashig this with all wipes and all other things
rest all works fine but as soon as i on the debug mod only black screen

Oh.God thanks to this post. Been waiting for this since only a few are delving for XJlo. I can't wait to try this one out. Hope this time PA will work for me cos' the last time I flashed it, it was a failure, Sim's not working and can't control hybrid settings.

There is no problem with usb debugging... problem is autobrightness bro, uncheck it and all is well

Hi, for all of you out there using Viper4Android (FX/HiFi), remove the "extra" file in the ROM before you flash it. Otherwise, it won't work.

btw, I found slow motion And when I remember right, it is also in stock s4 camera^^
As the title said, I've tested it on my Z1 and it's working without any issues.
This is not the actual app itself, It's only an ENABLER to make it work anytime without TV. It will only work on the devices which has TVLauncher already in the system.
It may work for other devices, test it and report.

UPDATE : For people who didn't work for them, just flash the fix in the attachments through CWM. The app is working fine now.

you need to have stock without apps disabled or debloated for it to work.
It doesn't matter if you are rooted, deodexed or not.

if you took a programming course, then you might be able to understand the errors in logcat, and by decompiling the relevent apks, maybe try to fix them? but for this "fixing" part, some knowledge about java (i think thats the language apks are decompiled in) is needed

Actually I'm not a programmer, I did it using tasker, maybe If you have tasker you can do it too.

You can use it as car or desk mode, for me, I use it as desk mode.

Can you tell me steps for this?
I have never used tasker
The pie update for our beloved Mi A1 was released one day after the beta version did. Currently the places where we can get the OTA update are : Netherlands and also Austria (As far as i know) if you are in one of these countries try to update it without making any of these steps !
Note : This isn't the beta update is the official OTA Pie update !
Steps:
1. Remove your SIM card
2. Go to settings and clear : Google App, Google Framework, Google Play Services, Location Service
3. Reboot
4. Open vpn with country Netherlands/ Austria (VPN doesn't matter as long as its a VPN)
5. Go to update and check it
PS. If it doesn't work try it 2 or 3 times the procedure

True! It happened to me, lost LTE because of this. Please be extra careful when doing this or if you don't mind then go ahead, haven't face any other issue so far, it feels faster.

Try setting the VPN to USA, that worked for me, just keep in mind the possibility of losing LTE

It worked fine here. And it didn't mess the LTE/4G. Everything is going well

Is this a fastboot or miflash zip?
Updated using the VPN method, used Windscribe VPN, everything works great, first bootup was longer. LTE works (Czech Republic)

So how do I use it? I tried using adb sideload but it got an error from terminal.
i got update but it shows waiting for wifi even ny wifi connected I try another wifi but nothing happen I'm not able to download

Restart the phone, also clear data from the google services and settings app
