Connect my second phone to smartwatch 2 - Sony Smartwatch

How to connect my second phone to smartwatch2?

If I have understood this right it's not possible to connect with 2 phones. It's possible but you have to reset the watch and pair it with the other phone, everytime you switch between phones.

When I changed my phone I made a backup from the first, restore on the new and re-paired the SW2 on new phone. I keep all my app, config and data.
So with same app on 2 phone, you can change from one to another no ? maybe not so simple but possible.

I have two phones, u mean every time im using I have to reset the watch??

thats what i have had to do.

Yes and no. Your reset the watch, but your actual settings for apps and all are in the phone. So each phone can have different smartwatch apps installed and they'll all work separately.
But you can't be connected to both at the same time.

If you are try to let SW2 receive notification from two of your phone, you can try Notify My Android which can push second phone's notification to main phone.

Pretty nonsense since every bluetooth headset from sony can pair with two phones/tablet (not at the same time, obviously).
Hope they will fix with an update.

Erm. Most people use a single phone? This smart watch is meant to be used with a phone?

Bluetooth headset.

Spot the difference.
Get yourself a dual-sim phone if its such a big deal.

Xiaomi and Huawei both have good ones. And if you're complaining that those aren't 'power house' enough go get a HTC One M8 dual-sim if you can find one. Or an S4 Dual Sim.
Your smartwatch 2 can do the same, effectively. You just can't connect with two phones at the same time.

Sony bluetooth headsets like the HBH-DS970 and the MW600 can connect to 2 or more phones, but to do that, you have to switch profiles on the headset (with a switch or setting)
the SW2 doesn't have that profile switch and therefor cannot support 2 phones
i doubt it's an 'issue' they will fix, good luck asking Sony

Then just re-pair when you switch phones. My wife sometimes uses my watch, so she installs whatever apps she wants, then when I pass the watch to her she just does a reset and re-pair, works fine.
Its not functionally any different from how the MN2 works.
And please, what's with the exclamation marks?

Is it possible to pair 2 cellphones and use only one headset?

Hi,
I have this dumb question If I have 2 cellphones, can they anyhow be paired via bluetooth so I can use one of them as the "main headset"? I mean we can use bluetooth to pair a phone to a "stereo headset", so why cant I make a phone act as a stereo headset?
It might be useless for somepeople but for people carrying 2 phones, they can leave one lying around and just carry one in which to receive the main calls and also use it as a bluetooth headset for the other phone.
Any ideas if its possible and if so why hasnt it be done already?
Thanks!
can you pair 2 phones so that you are sharing internet from one phone to another over bluetooth?
anyone has any input?

If I understand correctly, it sounds like you want a Bluetooth device that pairs with multiple phones? If so, there are products on the market that do just that.
If not, perhaps you could rephrase the question...

[Q] Any way to pair bluetooth phone to tablet to answre calls?

I decided to just keep my simcard on my tab and was wondering if there was any way we can pair our bluetooth phone to the tab to answer calls? I've been just using the speakerphone for now.
Would be nice if we could use a bluetooth phone to answer calls from the tablet.
The only option we have so far is either a bluetooth handsfree device or a pocket talker ( Samsung HM5000 Pen Type Bluetooth 3.0 Headset).
Are you asking about Bluetooth earphones or a Bluetooth - enabled cordless phone? Certainly the earphones will work. If it's a phone you're asking about, and I guess it will depend on whether that phone has unusual requirements.

I'm also watching out for this function. The Phone Link app mentioned is very near the function we want but the development stopped since 2011.

Connecting Smartwatch 2 with Note 3 and Note 8 together.

Trying to connect my Sony Smartwatch 2 with my Note 8 3g I realised that because it is already paired with my Note 3 ,I could not pair it without reseting the smartwatch.
Is it possible to have both phones paired ? I mean not at the same time but without having to unpair the smartwatch.
Any ideas?
No, it's not possible.

Yes, and then use the smartwatch2 app on the other smartphone to reload all your apps on the SW2, but it should not be a very long time consuming job.

Help regarding headphone issue

Hello there,
I just received my xz premium today, and to my big surprise my headphones (Huawei am185) can't be used with the phone.
I get a message saying ''headphones not supported .......'''
Can that really be true? - never had that issue before with any phone nor' headset.
Is there a way to fix it, and what kind of headset doesent work, kinda scared buying a new pair of headphones that ain't from sony, if they dont work.

Not sure what to say about your issue... I have tried two different headset/headphones and both work without any trouble at all.
Well, i tried some other headphones aswell - they worked fine.
Maybe it's because its from huawei?
is it a certain feature that's not working with them or are they not working at all when you try to play music?
They are not working at all

Android Pie - Notifications only come through Bluetooth device

Noticed with the Pie update, that if you're using a bluetooth device, the notifications only come through that. No longer comes through phone as well.
I need my earbuds to be paired and connected for most the time, but cannot have them in ears at all times. I only noticed after my wife called me to make sure I was ok as I hadn't been responding to numerous relatively important texts. Wasn't replying because I hadn't heard the notifications. . . . because my earbuds weren't in my ear.
Have there been any solutions to this thing. This is really bad and obnoxious.

All audio, ringer and notification sounds are redirected to headphone/ear-bud/earpiece when they are connected, it's a hardware feature that is built into the hardware, it can't do both.
Either leave the ear buds in or train yourself to disconnect them when not using them.

I've never had a device that could do this.
If it could do this before the update, the feature is probably still there, the settings for it may be in a different place or has a different nomenclature.

It definitely worked before. I've been going crazy since February, trying to figure out how to get the sound to play through the phone while a Bluetooth device is connected.
