Does anyone have the brazil watchband or know of a site that sells the band seperately? I can't seem to find any.
Many thanks for any advice!
The "Brazil Watch Band" is part of the 'Sony Smartwatch 2 FIFA Edition' and isn't sold separately.
It is so much better than that. Go to the Sony website and look at the photos of the other fabric bands, in different colours. Not only do Sony not sell those separately, they don't sell them at all, not even in Japan. How cool is that?
I have brought the Fifa edition today and it also comes with a black strap

Can't find 24mm wide NATO strap that is thin enough to fit between the watch and the spring bar. Anything thicker than about 1.2mm won't fit. Have only been able to find 22mm wide NATO strap and it doesn't fit properly with a gap on either side showing silver spring bar. Bought 3 straps so far and I am not happy with the fit of any of them. Be careful with thicker fabric NATO straps as they are stronger than the spring bars Sony supply and will bend/break them is forced.
Its the only thing I am really disappointed about with the SW2. Sony should have left a bigger gap between the watch body and the spring bars OR actually made the fabric straps they advertise on their website available to us mere mortals.

Have you tried place nato strap before set spring bar? Instead of directly through this gap.

Yes, I tried but I could only get one of the spring bars back in place with the thicker NATO strap. And it was bending pretty bad, I was worried it might break. Those Sony spring bars are seem pretty low quality.

Who agrees? Who dosent? With a nice fossil leather band for 10 bucks. Better or worse than pebble steel? I think better. Pebble steel has more bezil on bottom side, looks tacky. Anyone but a metal band for sw2?
Its hard to compare. I think it depends of bend. I purchase sony branded leather bend and its look even worse then rubber one for me...
I got a black leather one which made it look good, but a little too professional. Then I got a beige nylon strap which looks really good. I'd recommend nylon.

Agreed, I bought a cheap brown leather strap for mine on ebay and it looks great, definitely prefer it to the rubber strap that came with the watch. I might try a metal strap next
.
Fossil bands are 5$ at fossil outlet. Everyone post pics of custom watchbands on ur sw2. Shining I love pics of sw2 with 3rd party bands!
I'm all about the NATO straps on mine.
I keep seeing people posting "bumper" cases, but it seems that they don't understand what a bumper Case is our the company they bought from doesn't.... rusher way I'm looking for an actual aluminum bumper for my s6. Bumper meaning no back what so ever. Only edge protection. Please post any and all bumpers you find aluminium or otherwise and I will start a list here in the OP.
Ps. I have the versus iron shield bumper and while it is very nice I would highly recommend it, it's bumper bit large for my taste. Looking for something slimmer.
Aluminium Bumpers:
Verus Iron Shield Aluminium Bumper
Baesus Aluminium Bumper S6
Other Bumpers:

The only other place i can think of is casefanatic.com,
bumpers category: http://www.casefanatic.com/samsung/galaxy-s6/bumper-galaxy-s6/
but they ship most of em from china so unless you choose fast shipping then it'll take a couple weeks to get to you. But they have a large selection of cases for the s6 including about 3-5 bumper cases.
I have a Verus Aluminum bumper. Spigen has an identical one, but with black rubber instead of clear. And there are plenty more out there.
I am, however, now looking for an all plastic/rubber case that isn't ugly as the aluminum completely kills signal. I lose about 40 dBm of signal (full 5 bars to 1bar/no signal) as soon as I put the aluminum bumper on.
My phone with Verus aluminum bumper:
Edit: Sorry, I missed your "P.S.", I read the top part and thought the rest was part of your sig. That said, anything "smaller/thinner" than something like the Verus won't protect the camera on the back. I'd personally rather have another mm of thickness and not be laying the phone down on the camera.
Any aluminum bumper will degrade signal and wifi,it happens on the spigens, obliqs, or just about any metal band. I had the spigen and noticed it.

Yeah I like the Verus and it's a great case. It's just so think... I love how they damn near perfectly mimicked the edges of the s6. I haven't had any issues with signal degradation though. Kind of odd that you are, the silicon buffer is supposed to make it so that doesn't happen. Very odd indeed.
Oh and I am going to edit the OP to ask for all bumper case suggestions so that those who aren't looking for an aluminum option have somewhere to look as well. :good:

I would've as well but it's not aluminium which for me personally is a must. Also I fear an aluminium version would suffer from the same size issue as the Verus.
If you both would post pics when you get them I'd like to compare it to the Verus for size. Obviously a picture isn't the best way to do it, but it's better than nothing.

i hate to admit it but you are absolutely right. I just got this bumber and love how sleek it is, i prefer it over my neo hydrid ex. But after seeing your comment and testing it out there's a huge difference in signal strength. With the metal bumber i get -113/114 dBm with 26 asu compared to the neo hybrid with -105dBm with 34 asu. i always thought it was just those cases with the metal backing that effected signal but just the bumper is enough to make a significant difference.

I had a really hard time putting it on the first time, and then trying to take it off the first time, I thought it was now a permanent fixture. I was really afraid I was going to break the phone from the pressure. Once I finally got it off, I couldn't get the Iron Shield case on. (The bumper is printed "Iron Shield", but it's actually "Iron Bumper" - they just use the same bumper piece for both.) I've now taken each off a couple times, and the rubber is getting more flexible now.
But yes, it will come off with some SERIOUS effort - just be careful. I have no helpful tips other than "keep trying".
I have both the verus aluminum and the spider plastic bumpers. I like the spigen one, but honestly I didn't feel like it was very protective. It just felt flimsy. The verus felt better in the had, but made the phone too wide, and also the headphones jack was super slim. I ended up taking a drill and widening it so my headphones will fit.

I don't understand why everyone says the verus is hard to take off. It's tight, but not difficult. I usually start at the top and push the bumper back while moving the phone and rubber part forward.

The first time I tried to take it off, it very much felt like the phone was going to break well before the case came off.
For those having issues, what finally became a good method for me was to use a thicker (terry cloth type) microfiber cloth to get a decent grip on the top/right corner, from the front pushing the corner off to the back, and just slowly, with steady/firm pressure, push the case back. Trying to quickly force it off did nothing, but a slow firm pressure did it. Then once that slid off, repeat at the top left corner, with will come more easily.
Another issue for me with the aluminum bumpers is that I dont want it to come free of the rubber and then scratch the glass (unlikely) or the phone's aluminum edge (far more likely).
I picked up a "Xuenair" branded silver aluminium bumper from eBay. It looks great, the buttons feel good, and the cutouts are perfect. Unfortunately though, it kills my GPS. Interesting enough, the cellular signal only degrades by 2-4 dbm at home.
I do use GPS quite often though.. so eBay refund process I go.

Does that bumper have anything to keep the camera off of a table surface when setting it down? (I assume you got the thin bare metal one that latches on.)

I do indeed have the thin metal one with a latch on the bottom right corner. To answer your question though, no, my camera unfortunately still remains in contact with the surface when it's laying down. I'm not too concerned about it since I have a tiny PET film lens protector, but it definitely could scratch the paint still.
Got it ! Very Elegant !
Does anyone know where to get a replacement strap fro the Huawei watch 2 classic ? I'm looking for one in stainless steel to match the colour of the grey classic
I think i got this one and it matches the color:
https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01N47BF9R/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1
no review yet: just installed it, but seems fine ^^
Most of the ones I've been looking at have complaints of the finish not being very durable and scratching or wearing through to the silver base metal very quickly. So I started to research ceramic bands but many of those look too glossy black. Ceramic will be very durable against wearing through to another base color but can be very brittle. Some have complained the bands are brittle and can crack/break if you catch your wrist on something like a door frame as you walk by. Not all of the are quick release so that's another issue if you like to be able to change bands easily (as I do) . Pretty much anything 22mm that goes well with the Samsung Gear S3 Classic will work well with the HW2 classic. One thing I have read is that 22mm Milanese Loop Mesh bands will not always fit because of how far back the pin holes are in the HW2 classic.
This ceramic one (not quick release) actually has a review from an HW2 classic owner with pictures https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M1DT36...olid=2W6Q0JM9LJ3OW&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

Durable ceramic strap that looks great on watch2 classic
One reason I jumped on this watch (when the price finally came down by half) is that it has the same 22mm lug width as my extensive NATO and Zulu strap collection. I think I have about 50. Prices range from $3 on eBay to $20 for the Blue Shark to $35 for the DaLuca Ballistic from Amazon. I picked up a pair of quick change/ quick change pins from Amazon to make it easier to remove and go back to the stock rubber strap without a need for the watch tool. I will post more pics later.
A few more
This is a great strap from Panatime on Amazon. 22mm ballistic with a full 12 inches of strap a very rare bonus. $18. The only similar one goes for $35.
Sorry for being honest. But your foto are useless.. i cant see a bleeding strap. All i see is your face watch and traces as some sort of strap. Photo taken in dark toilet room.
I would be interested but i dont know if its me or you are just not there.
I have bought two 20mm stainless steel watch bands for my 46mm Watch 4 Classic, neither have fit, wondering if we need a 19mm. Bought a Fullmoso and Acestar, both same result. I also bought a 20mm silicone sport band which fits fine. Anyone find a 20mm stainless steel band that actually fits?
I have a couple of leather straps I bought recently and both 20mm 1 is Fullmoso . I have a 20mm stainless steel I bought 3/4 yrs ago and that fits my 46mm Classic .
Might worth popping in a jewelers if any local and checking some of there straps(you don't have to buy)
Same for me as well, I brought a 20mm stainless steel watch band and it wouldn't fit to begin with, but managed to get it to fit in the end by filling both ends down on the band.
Yikes, didn't want to go that route, did another 20mm that said specifically for Watch 4, Acestar, same issue, then ordered a 19mm Fullmoso, too narrow and too much play....waiting for more to hit the market
Here's the problem... It's not 20mm
Measured with calipers and it's 19.8mm
Is the watch lugs being less than 20mm a wider issue? I don't have calipers to measure.
It would suck if I can't use all the bands I have ordered.
I ended up just taking a Dremel to two 20mm steel bands I had bought for my 46mm classic. I shaved just a hair off each side where the pin goes on the bands and they fit fine after that. It really is a tenth of a mm off or something like the OP showed.
Picked this one up from Amazon and it worked perfectly.

Indeed! The first problem is that the lugs are curved inward. So the distance between the holes exactly 20mm. HOWEVER, the distance between the lugs at the narrowest point is 19.8 to 19.9mm (like you, I just measured with calipers and it is hard to get an exact reading on something slanting inward). OMG Samsung, what a stupid move. So this could cause a bit of bind if the band is really close to being 20mm wide.
The second problem people seem to have with metal bands is that the band can actually rub against and scratch the circular case, depending on how "thick" the band is.
The third problem is that some people want a more finished look to the band to fill the "gap." To illustrate what I mean, attached is a photo of my most-excellent Casio WaveCeptor. Notice how it connects to the watch body completely.
For all these reasons, I did some searching and found a new and unique metal band for the GW4C- one that fills that gap by design. Nothing like it on Amazon, but on Ebay, there is this:

From pin location on top to pin location on the bottom seems to be exactly 5cm.
I bought these (mine are all black, but dont seem to be listed anymore) and they do fit: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09BVPWFZS
They were a little bit of a pain to get on as you cant have the band straight out from the plane of the watch while inserting the pins. You have to let the band lay like it will when its on your wrist, then they fit. This made it much harder than need be while doing the second pin as you dont get nearly as much play.
I tried a few others and all had the same issue of being too large and hitting the watch chassis.
Anyone get a stainless steel band to fit yet?
