Hey guys,
I'm not sure if this has already been asked, couldn't find it but if it has, just remove it.
Is there a possibility/program/tweak to use the camera when assigning a picture to a contact like on the iPhone? What I mean is when you add a new contact who just gave you his number you just click on the picture symbol and instead of the pictures directory, the camera opens and you can directly take a photo of the person. Should be possible by editing the registry? Would be great if someone could help with that!
Regards
Which WinMobile and UI version are you using? 6.5 with Manila 2.1+ offers the picture directory in thumbnail form, and the first icon is a camera icon. Click that, and you can take (and crop immediately after) a new photo.
Hey thanks for the answer! I figured it out for my UI, I'm using WM6.5 and Titanium and recently installed PhoneEx which offers this function which I found out after some trying So, thanks and question answered

I really like the graphics of the Quick Search of the Contact app of MIUI 0.10.15(curved at the side instead of being rectangular)..
Can anybody make such PNG for all the Textfields throughout the framework(default, pressed, selected) so that everywhere it is shown like that, not just in Contacts?
Or can anybody request that in MIUI forum from the devs?(I cant speak chinese so I cant post it there..)
Thanks..
Anyone????
Can somebody ask this in MIUI forum for me (who can speak chinese)?
Hi,
I hope I'm in the right section, but Q&A sounded just about right for this:
When I'm lookin at a contact of mine, there's a tab called "Album" at the bottom of the screen. I click it, there are no images in it. I checked if I could "share" an image to the contact's album but no.
Is there any way to add photos to a contact specific album, or is this reserved for facebook/other albums? I think I can remember that back when I used facebook, there were images displayed the contact posted online...
Thanks for your help.
Hi all,
Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong spot. After installing V38 Echoe ROM I'm been wondering if Is it possible to add my own pic to the list of curtains? I'd love to have a Metallica album cover. Also is there any way to hide the status bar symbols on the phone app? I tried to upload a screenshot.....................but I was asked for a URL..................uploaded a pic to photo bucket and got the URL............Not allowed to post links. I tell ya, being a nooby is bloody frustrating.
Thanks
btw it's on a GTi9505
I've looked and found gmails with modded skins but no gmail with the action bar moved back to where it was in 4.2/4.3.
I don't want the new "material" design so I'm stuck below 4.9. Has anyone done this mod before? Wouldn't it be possible to just edit the layout XML files? I'm not super familiar with the gmail APK... just know ads + analytics can be pulled out and layout is editable from a cursory decompile
