I really like the graphics of the Quick Search of the Contact app of MIUI 0.10.15(curved at the side instead of being rectangular)..
Can anybody make such PNG for all the Textfields throughout the framework(default,pressed,selected) so that everywhere it is shown like that, not just in Contacts?
Or can anybody request that in MIUI forum from the devs?(I cant speak chinese so I cant post it there..)

I'm using dZenkinZ icon set and whilst I'm happy to use a graphics program to fiddle with an existing icon to make a new one for apps not covered by the existing set (eg Railway Live Departure Boards) I'm wondering if I can apply custom icons to Bookmarks and Contacts on my Home screen.
I've searched the forums, but couldn't see any clues...

I don't know for sure, but I thought it could only be done by cooking it into the rom.
If you want to know for sure wait for a dev or cooker to answer this, or post the question into the rom thread of the one you're using.

delete folder 'proglauncher' from \application data\htc
restart manila
The thread was talking about wallpapers etc and there was a specific Karas Green wallpaper provided but also a link to a thread where it showed different homescreens but also had titles and references to every widget name etc so onlookers could download and create similar homescreens/styles as wanted...
I cant seem to find that thread at all anymore nor have any idea what the thread title was. I know i was looking for wallpapers when i stumbled on it and im sure it was on the Droid X themes and apps but i literally spent the last 3+ hours going through wall paper thread page by page looking for those two symbols which i know were in that thread. One of them being the Karas character wallpaper in green and than someone posting that link...
I have looking in general android themes and was not able to find it there...as i said im sure it is in our droid X themes and wallpapers but have no luck in finding it....Do either the Green Karas wallpaper or that link to themes and references turn on any lights for anyone? much appreciated if you could direct me to that thread...

But sadly I didn't find any phonebook or framework mods..

I have seen that {Warez site reference removed} and observed there are very much customisation things for miui roms and it's really appreciable :fingers-crossed:..
but the bad thing is the {Warez site reference removed} which I doesnt know(translator is also misleading) , I can't even take the attachments from that forum since i don't have an account,it's not letting me to create one even ...
so iam here asking to suggest me a thread which is discussed about miui things in English.,
if there isn't any till now..why don't someone starts it.(like a person with better miui rom/framework/UI knowledge.),just initiate a colourful thread and let it set onto the pace for discussions like major things can be found in reg. to MIUI (in English pls)

In short, you could use: MIUI Themes, Substratum, CustoMIUIzer and GravityBox, at least for some quite easy UI customisation.
Well, there are also generic tools like KWLP and KWGT that you could expand with Tasker automation.
