Just picked up a us cellular moto g and I see some models have problems with the bootloader can this version be unlocked if anyone knows ?

From what I have read, NO. So far, the boot loaders are not unlockable on US Cellular, Republic Wireless, AIO (Cricket), and Verizon versions.

What ROM are you running? I recently learned how to flash the Droid, and I am, in fact, using the Droid right now (on the cricKet network) and am typing this message with it. I can help guide you if you like.

try and let us know ))
Yes, and then send your Moto X's dead corpse to the morgue.

You won't be able to flash it as the recovery would check the file signature and if it doesn't match to the model it will reject the files unless you extract and remove it.
But don't do it, you will Brick it.
