try and let us know ))

Yes, and then send your Moto X's dead corpse to the morgue.

You won't be able to flash it as the recovery would check the file signature and if it doesn't match to the model it will reject the files unless you extract and remove it.
But don't do it, you will Brick it.

Speaker Volume

Is it just mine or is the speaker at about 50% down hard to hear? I can barely hear mine at 50% volume.

I'm from Brazil. Updated to kitkat with this method and flashed this zip with cwm to gain root access. Try it if you want!

Ubuntu Touch?

The title says it all, I have been searching for Ubuntu for the Moto G, but with no luck.
Do you know if it is possible to install? Are people working on it?
Ubuntu Touch needs CM10.1 base first, I don't know if newer versions are good or not. Some devs are already working on CM11, Ubuntu Touch would be one step closer after they finish their work.

Is it still possible to install a version for another device with similar or same specs or we just have to wait for a version for the Moto G?
We need to wait for a Moto G specific release.

LMT Launcher on the Moto X

I just installed LMT launcher, and am trying to figure out what settings/values I need to use for the Moto X, as the X is not one of the listed devices in the app settings. Any advice or help would be much appreciated.

I tried choosing Razr as my device, but LMT still didn't respond to any of my on screen gestures. I also tried a few of the other device options, with no luck. Any other suggestions or settings I could try.
Try restarting the phone. And of course you have to be rooted for it to work.
Finally got it working

I finally got it working in the end. I had to choose the device section with Nexus 4, GS2, Note 2 etc.
Thank you everyone for your input.

So I'd have to flash that ROM and it would be like my stock ROM but it's really the Moto X stock ROM?

Yeah, works the same as stock Droid Maxx except you'll have the onscreen navigation bar thing. I was on it and then flashed the Slim ROM and it's running pretty well.
