I unlocked my SIM and if i flash new official rom the SIM network will lock again ? - Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus S7500
hello guyz
I was using SpeedMod but i had to travel and my phone network does not work here in turkey until i UNLOCK SIM NETWORK
I had my phone unlocked and the man who did it told me that i'm not able to update my software anymore or the phone network will be locked again
the software he flashed through odin does not support Arabic language .. and I had to flash new ROM supporting Arabic
Am i able to do ? or the phone network will be locked again ?
please help

Please create an backup of your Rom using CWM and then you can try to update/flash your phone.. If your phone is locked again, put your backup back in and search for an patch for multilanguage with arabic support..

NO, the phone will NEVER be locked again
SIM LOCK is more like a hardware based security, not software.
you can flash stock safe

after you unlock the sim, you have to flash custom recovery and then root
then you can flash custom rom through recovery
BTW, its possible the phone can be lock again only if he unlocked the sim via root exploit
if he used an IMEI calculator, yes it is ok

when i got back my phone .. it was not rooted .. so we didn't unlock the sim network using root exploit ? right ?
btw i don't know what is root exploit
anyway .. i can do a backup and flash any rom i want then if the sim locked i restore my backups .. right ??

at this point, your phone is not unlocked via root exploit
so you can do whatever you want, it will not lock
and the unlock being part of hardware, it will never lock back unless you want it to happen

and also i was on speedmod and he flashed a stock rom .. why did he do such this thing !?

he flashed stock rom as the method of calculating the unlock code based on imei is valid for this phone on 2,3,6
he could do this on kk risking to not work and losing the money
maybe he thinks the code resets the bootloader which happens on devices such as htc
but i have here a clear example:
if you use the yellow triangle away app from chainfire and you flash another rom, does the yellow triangle appears again?
i guess you know what is triangle away, search it on google if you dont
and the triangle thing is a hardware code, so is the sim lock

U need to require the NAC code from them and this can be used each time u installed new firmware to unlock the hand set again.

What exactly the problem is?? Are you not getting network??? If you are not getting Network the the problem is with IMEI number. The person whom you gave must have cleared EFS while flashing with Odin. EFS contains the IMEI number. Hence it should never be done. You can do one thing if you have not installed CWM. You need is Stock Recovery and Stock Rom. Flash Stock Rom through Odin and then perform Factory Reset from Stock Recovery don't clear EFS. Now you can do a Factory Reset from Stock Recovery. If again you donot get network with this then go to service center and tell them that you accidently you lost the network. Don't tell anything about root.

What is your point?? U want to root your phone, but u worried about warranty void?? Are u kidding or what? Once u rooted your phone your warranty automatically voids.. Unless u unroot it back by flash stock rom via odin.. Sent from my GT-S7500 using my finger

Click to collapse BTW I am not relocking my phone right now because I just do not need to, i'll do it when I need to send it back for warranty. Not sure if this will work, but I think you can relock your phone with this software called simlock remote client installer, and I think you might need to pay for the premium software. Heres the link http://www.simlockremoteserver.com/files/srs-unlock-installer.exe And heres a video example to understand how to use it, I know the video is poor quality but its the only one i could find for relocking phones. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozT_H77aR8k
Say if there were some problems with my phones such as the audio was damaged or the screen pixels were damaged, would the service centers bother checking if it was unlocked of not???

Where did you unlock it ? If su is there he unlocked via z3x or octoplus... Its permanent... Youre free to flash anything you wont lose unlock

My phone has some problems after my flash custom ROM(In before, I use the official system without any problems) When i boot time There is an interface It is a network lock I also on eBay bought unlock code,But it does not work. I am in China,I even do not know network lock is which carriers I have root,TWRP,xposed,busybox..can from the file to solve it do? If not then how to solve it？ Please help me. Thanks in advance.
