Hi!
Editing or flashing IMEI's is illegal.
If its a legit issue of it being wiped, you'll have to send it in to the manufacturer or a service depot.
We don't discuss such topics in XDA. Sorry. ?

I'll add that the only success I've seen restoring an original imei , without a service center giving it, is buy restoring your EFS folder. If you had it backed up. Most people don't tho.
Good luck!

I'm in the process of following root instructions for t-mobile Note 4 (sm-910t) posted by TEKHD. His Odin screen shot shows only "Auto Reboot" option checked. When I fire up Odin both Auto Reboot AND F. Reset Time options are checked and I can't uncheck the latter. Will this have an adverse affect on the root process? Any help much appreciated.
Hi,
I'm not sure exactly which thread you are referring to, but that would be the place to ask this question.
And basically, if the instructions say to do something, we do it. ?
Good luck!

But please ask in the thread first if you're concerned.
Thank you. Thread closed.

Hi,
The best thing you can do is go back to the shop and tell them to fix it. It could be your only hope.
Here is a very informative thread for your device. Read the first few pages, and you may need to try reverting to stock... That is covered in post number 3.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2370981
Ask any questions on any of that in the thread above.
Really though, I suggest asking the shop to fix it if you feel it was their fault, before messing with it yourself.
Good luck!
ummmmmmmmmm so what if i install back the stock firmware would that make it imei fix or the wifi to work?
Maybe, but unless you previously backup up your efs folder, which could be used to restore your imei, There's nothing much else you can do.
Flash stock, if it doesn't work, you likely need a service center.
Unfortunately that's about it. If you feel the shop messed it up, demand they fix it. That's your best option I'd say.
Ask in the thread I linked if you'd like other possible ideas.
Again, I hope it works out! ?

Also note the updated link I posted, the first link was not the correct one.
just one last one quest ... what if i use galaxy_s unlock and galaxsim unlock to back up ma eps folder would that be a good thing ? because when i open ma eps folder on ma device i see : wifi , imei etc .. when open them i see files in those folders
I would ask that in the thread I linked to find out from the experts who own your device. ?
after flashing my rom to stock firmware ... i got my wifi working ... but when i check my imei it says " //00 and my bluetooth addresss is unknown
Please ask for help in the thread I linked.

Somebody please help!!! (Sorry if i seem so noob-ass but I've never posted anything on any forum before!)
I recently got an Android phone for Christmas, It was a pretty good Samsung-Like Chinese phone and I was uninstalling all the crap-ware
that came with it like Flip-board and TripAdvisor and Some other things but I NOOBISHLY uninstalled com.mediatek and it screwed
up big-time, after doing some research i figured i may have deleted the processor drivers. The phone said stuff like £*$^"*$DH Has stopped working and Your puk code has been entered too many times, your sim is now locked has stopped working. The phone will now boot but
just stays at the welcome screen (Just before it gets to the jellybean lock screen)
WHAT NOW???
Yours, absoloutly gutted,
Robin

did u have root ?
did u delete the mediatek-res.apk in /system/app ?
you did not delete the cpu drivers.
you deleted some software your mediatek cpu powered device need to operate propper.
if you know your manufacturer and device name, you can search for a SP Flashtool backup for your device on needrom.com
if you found the correct backup (do not flash any rom not made for your device) do yourself a favor and read as much as possible what and how to do.
if anything is unclear.... ASK!!!!
do not experiment!!!
good luck buddy
Hi guys, Just got my mate 7 and love it BUT, I'm on Vodafone Australia and they are having issues with updates. I'm stuck on 127SP02 with no available updates. I have downloaded both firmware updates from Huawei but when reading the attached doc, it says something about the update file and a vendor file. Obviously I have no vendor file so will i do any damage by running the firmware upgrade on its own? Will do the 4.2.2 update , then the lollipop one.
Thanks
ok, I tried to run the update to B148 which apparently should be fine with my B127. However, it fails to complete the install. Any help greatly appreciated.
software starts to install then says:
software install failed!
Also tried to update to B137 first, this also fails to install. Any advice greatly appreciated guys and gals as I appear to be stuck with B127 otherwise.
Thanks
I upgraded from B145>B148 and now can't root, or flash downgrade. Was rooted on B137 adn B145 with B145 being smoothest as far as KK goes. Not thinking to go LP since there's so many complaints about features missing certain functions or being completely removed; and anyways...it won't upgrade LP.
As far as B148 is, I'm stuck on stock. No root available witing KingRoot, Kingo, Vroot...if I find a solution, I'll be sure to pass it along.
I've actually been able to flash back to 145, but I was also able to upgrade to LP, I'm trying the latest 5.1.1 B327 for now and it's actually been quite good so far.
It seems you need to go 137SP02 first and then move up sequentially... have a look at the link below; it shows the available firmwares in upgrades with ota in sequence.
Just make sure the C**B** is the same as what you're on now (eg., C00B127SP02>C00B137SP02>and so on), don't be on C00 and flash C900 without properly sequencing your upgrades or you might soft-brick and boot loop.

I'm not rooted or trying. It's completely not working out. No development on this device and it sucks bad... I'm looking to put a Linux machine together but my knowledge is still limited. I got windows 10 laptop already but it's so confusing and hard to setup. I took the new update. Honestly how can I help you out? I can't really do a full back up without root i think so explain to me how and I will help....
I'm not green or anything but there's not root and custom recovery bootloops and is a mess. You know how I help you without a doubt! Just a brief how to.... and I'll be more then happy too

Thank but I bricked my phone two days ago by trying to backdate from latest update using Odin all the other update with (U1) in the build number were able to backdate this one had (U2) in the build number ! Thay changed the bootloader an the modem ! Odin failed but flash in the old modem ! I was able to flash the root program threw Odin an got it to boot ! But had no wi fi or data ! In the end I used flashfire to flash the system file out of old AP file an cvc an got my phone working ! It still has the new bootloader in it but it's working !
An just for the record the root program still works on new firmware ! But I can't repudate until I find the latest firmware file because of the bootloader ! If I try to backdate Odin will just fail an brick my phone again !
