Hi, I searched but couldn't find. I want to unroot my phone but I didn't save any files on my PC when I rooted it....noob. Is there a guide or toolkit that can help me with this? This is for an HTC ONE X. Thanks.

I'm trying to unlock my AT&T HOX using the method in the sticky on my Mac.
I'm stuck right here: "Download and install the HTC mobile phone drivers." The drivers are an exe file.
Thanks in advance.
You don't need the drivers.

Hi... You should really be more specific , what version of android are you using? As of the new update not all versions can be unlocked anymore ...
Make sure you close sync manager down all the way "EXIT" OUT ... As when I did my cell this had to be done to work

I have android 4.0.4

then you're stuck.
The Root method is only good on firmware version 1.85 android 4.03
Is there anyway I can go back to android 4.0.2?

Negative.
Like I said, you're stuck. At least until a root exploit is found or HTC allows us to unlock the boot loader without hackery.
Well ain't that a *****. Lol

Hi all. I tried to find the tool kit for my Rogers one x Evita to root my phone. About 5 months ago I unlocked the boot loader and had troubles with rooting. I gave up and bought a One. I would now like to finish my one x. I went to Hasoon2000 post and went to his Dev-Host mirror site but could not find the file. Can anyone direct me in the right direction? Thank you in advance.

You have an unlocked bootloader, right? You don't need a toolkit, all you need to do is flash TWRP recovery then you flash flash a rooted ROM.
PS. Questions go in the q&a section.

I just upgraded to 4.4.3 and had to reset my setup and this method still works....
Use the guide thread in the gear2 General forums
First make the build prop changes, then move gear stub, Samsung apps and Samsung service apks to their appropriate places
Reboot and login to Samsung account then open Samsung apps.. update if needed then download gear manager and let it install whatever it needs and that's it!
