[Q] Reduce vibration intensity? (CM11) - RAZR HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a way to reduce the default vibration intensity?
The 'heart beat' vibration is really annoying when the phone is sitting on a desk, everybody in the room will hear it.
There are apps with shorter vibrations (gmail does two very short ones) -- that would be fine as well if I could default to other apps.
Thanks!

[Q] Vibration; short for notification, long for call

Is there a way, by default or via app, for me to set different vibration settings for notifications vs. calls?
My problem is that the vibration setting for emails is too long. Each email produces a long, three second vibration. Even if I make a custom short-burst vibration in settings>sound>device vibration, I still get a long vibration for emails. The custom vibration that I created only triggers when I'm getting a call.
So, I guess my question is: Is there some way for me to customize the vibration pattern for notifications?
Try Light Flow.

Pretty sure it allows you to customize both the LED and vibration settings on a per app basis.

Vibration options

I see some old posts, but wonder if there is anything new. I just got an S2. Is there any way to have the vibrations for messages occur more than once? Is there a way to have each notification vibration have a longer vibration time, since each vibration is quite weak? Thanks

Vibrating alarm..urgent question please

Can someone please tell me the strength of the vibrating alarms? Is the intensity adjustable? What about length of alarm?
Hi I am used to a cheap Fitbit Charge HR to wake me up and also as important medical reminder. However I recently tried a Garmin Vivomove which even in max mode was barely noticeable.
Currently trying an Huawei Fit and it’s not much better but at least it is also audible
The HW2 is at such a good price I am considering one so could do with an owners opinion please
Thanks
Anybody?
I’ve actually got the watch but if I open it I can’t return it. So really could do with some kind owners comments
?
Never tried the alarm vibration. Buy general notifications are noticeable on your wrist. You can set the pattern of the vibration as well. Normal, long and double are the choices.
The Google alarm works not bad (vibe + sound). Otherwise there are also 3rd app for alarm. I use Nefa Wear Alarm for many years and it can vibrate 30s or 1min if you want.
Thanks guys
Do you know if the intensity is adjustable along with the duration?
Not adjustable. But it is the developper of each app wich choose how he want manage the watch vibration. The vibration motor is not very strong on almost all Wear watch. The best vibration I see is on the pebble watch, very strong (and adjustable wich different pattern).

Zenfone 6 vibration "sound"

Hello,
I received my phone two days ago (switched from OP3). I noticed something odd. The vibration sounds like "vibrating phone with protruding camera laying on desk". Even if I hold it in my hand. Even with case put on.
My vibration strength is set to about 66%. If there is a long vibration (sms notification or call) it sounds like vibration motor is working with few very small interruptions in those ~3 seconds.
When I get back from work I will try to record that sound.
Anyone got the same feeling with their phone? Is it normal? Or should I write to Asus about it?

Question Vibration is very weak - any way to improve it?

Compared to prior Samsung devices, I find the vibration motor very very weak. In fact I literally just missed a call when the phone was on my desk next to me because sound was off and only vibration was on!
Anyone know a way to increase it beyond max? Any apps out there?
vibration motor is hardware-based so maybe be it's not possible. but you can try by searching the vibration option in settings, many tech reviewers said so
Samsung changed to x-axis (from previous models' z-axis vibration motor).
Better haptic feedback in hand/ when typing maybe (as motor now located in lower half of handset) but vibration intensity seems less, especially when handset resting in table, etc.
