What was the problem and the solution? I have the same problem.

I was having the same problem earlier. A quick workaround is to start up your phone in download mode (holding the volume up + home + power buttons) and then when it asks for a confirmation, press the down arrow to cancel, and your phone will restart, except this time skipping the check for "unauthorized software."
If this still doesn't work, or you're looking for a permanent fix, flash the PIT file using odin found here.

I tried to install TW4 but that didnt worked for me.
Now i only have a black sreen when the phone starts.
And i cant get Odin to work because i cant connect the phone to the pc with usb.. i only can get in boot mode.
Anyone know a soluction to my problem?
Can you get to Download mode...home+volumedown+power button combination??
Is that the same way as going into boot mode?
instead pushing vol.up button i need to push vol.down button?
Edit:

so if you can enter download mode there is no problem, just install new rom ...
when i try to install a new rom with odin it gives me a massege "connect a telephone" but it is connected through usb..
i got the ops file in odin and by "one package" i put the md5 file.
But then i get that massege "connect a telephone"
Try an other USB-port, make sure Kies is not running and use Odin 4.43.
i dont have kies on the computer and i use odin 4.43.
i tried another usb port but no changes..

But Kies includes drivers for the phone - so do you have properly installed drivers for your phone?
OT: Is there a chance to take back given "Thanks"? I accidentally pressed "thanks" instead of "quote"

Yeah but such a problem seems to occur relative often.
I would try to reinstall drivers, maybe with the Kies-drivers or use another computer.
I have similar problem. There is the same symptoms.
I have try:
- other usb ports
- other drivers (original samsung / kies drivers)
- other pc
- kill kies processes
- misc roms
and.. nothing..
I cant get recovery mode.. There is ramdump mode instead of recovery :/
Actually my i9001 is bricked and I cant load any rom..
Maybe my sgs is locked by bootloader or something?
if ure entering ramdump mode then u dont have the correct combination of buttons down when booting up:
Vol + / Power = Recovery Mode
Vol + / Home / Power = Ramdump Mode
Vol - / Home / Power = Download Mode
cheers

At least your guide on how to get to recovery is a big fail. That works with I9000, not I9001. Vol + / Power, WHEN the samsung text appears, release both buttons. AND when the lights in the softkeys turn on, quickly tap MENU, that's how to boot to recovery mode
well sorry if i left that part out, i assumed he would know how to navigate the recovery mode once he actually got the button combo right. and the only fail here is ur rude attitude, deff. no need for that around here imho.
aside from that, all these instructions are correct.
cheers

I solved the problem.
Unfortunately not on my PC. My i9001 needed a box which I solved all mistakes.
Now I have Gingerbread with root
Unfortunately I still hav a problem with my PC which doesn't want connect with sgs.. :/
I will try trial and error method.

power button doesn't work either? I thought that functioned as the 'enter' button... Imnuts' post will work for sure, but I have to ask why are you in the stock android recovery? unless you meant CWM?
Thanks imnuts, what is the easiest way to adb reboot?
My screen is showing similar to the attached photo but the trackball statement it instead says: [Enter: Home Key, Select : Vol UP / Vol Down
Its asking me to use the home key for my enter but my home key is not functioning. But if you know of an alternative I am happy to hear what your thoughts are.

ADB (Android Debug Bridge, I think) is tethering your phone to your pc and pushing/pulling files or forcing commands to your phone using the command terminal... it doesn't work right away as you need the latest android sdk files, java/jdk files, and altered C:/ path directory (assuming you're running windows, I think thats how it works if anyone can help me out here )
does the power button work as a 'select' button though? also can't you just battery pull and restart the phone or does it restart right into that recovery? just an FYI that is the stock android recovery which you can't (or rather shouldn't) be doing anything in, CWM is recommended... I vaguely recall there being another button that would work like the search button but I'm not sure
Thanks for the advise anoninja118, I appreciate the help.
So last night I tried ADB but was not successful at it, maybe ill look into that more. Unfortunately my phone does not allow the power button to work as the 'select' button. Yeah and pulling the battery leads me back to the same recovery screen. What is CWM?

CWM is Clockwork Mod, its the custom version of that recovery that will allow you to flash files and change options: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1112804
you can flash superuser (what gives you root access) easily in there and just reboot and presto you're rooted... I haven't seen any tutorials on how to use CWM since its fairly easy, to boot into it just hold power+volume up+home until 'Samsung' appears then let go of power and hold the other two until it comes up, then use volume keys and power button to navigate and select
Odin is required to install CWM first though and this thread gives a little info on that: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1160580

so how can i fix my phone used just my computer?
please i need help by the end of work today!!!!
Use the volume keys to navigate through the options then use the power button to select the option that you need.
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA
try nvflash'in it again.. that will resolve you.
i've tried the power batten it really does nothing at all....
When you're scrolling down and hit the bottom of the menu and it goes back to the top if you do it a few times it says the buttons were disabled and you have do it again a few times to re-enable them. You wouldn't happen to be disabling the buttons and that why it doesn't work? You could also try using the touch version of CWM
Do you have rom manager installed rite?

SM-G920F - Bootloop during installing systemupdate

Hi, a friend of me has a Samsumg Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F), which runs continuously in a bootloop while installing a system update. It goes to 29% and then restarts himself to start installing the system update again and returns to exactly 29% again, followowd by a restart again, and again, and again ........ Attempts to start-up in recovery mode (Power, Volume +, Home) or download mode (Power, Volume -, Home) do not work. Also my PC does not recognize the phone. :crying::crying:
Does anyone have got an idea to got my phone working, or any other idea to get my phone in recovery- or download-mode?
Anyone?
The Phone boot ?

No, unfortunately not. It keeps restarting when system update is at 29% and after the restart keeps comming back in "installing a system update" ......

For that I have to boot to download-mode, right? Problem is that the phone isn't booting to download-mode, recovery or sytem at all. At least not by the "normal" procedure. It constantly booting to "installing systemupdate" ......:crying:
When you connect To odin. The Phone is recognized?
You are not holding volume down+power+home long enough. Keep holding it until you get to the download mode prompt screen.

No, the phone is not recognized by ODIN. Drivers on PC are oke, because my S7 edge and my girlfriends S5 are recognized by ODIN ......

I'm holding these buttons for more then 60 seconds ....... but nothing seems to be working .....
Were the volume down, home and power button functioning fine before hand?
Looks like one of the buttons don't work.

As far as I know, buttons worked fine before. I guess phone is brikked and not much I can do about it anymore ....... :crying::crying:
I'm guessing you already tried running it flat? There is still a chance download mode is bootable once you get the phone to go off due to flat battery.
This phone is a pretty bad brick, I've fixed up to DRK corrupted but this one seems unrecoverable.

Yes, I already let the phone running empty battery. But as soon as I plug in the powercord, the same process starts over and over again .......
And with adb ?
same trouble
Hi everybody, i had the same trouble on my G-920F (S6), and the only strange way i've find, is to keep button volume up AND down and power, once it's turn off for rebooting, i've add the home button pressed.
finally by that way it show me the recovery menu. Another time it show me the download menu !!??
Well but now my trouble is that i cannot succeed to flash correctly the last official samsung firmware using Odin .
i've tryed to erase nand (i know i should not), but without succeed.
so i'm looking for pit file, and i will try an older firmware.
so try with the volume up and down and power, in case of it works like for me

Bootloop, no Recovery, no Download

Hello,
sorry that I have to bother you with this.
I had a S6 (G920F) with Maniacx Ressurection Remix Unofficial OREO 6.10 , with Magisk 7.10 and TWRP 3.2.1 running.
Because of a problem with calls, I flashed a .zip that fixed the problem before (it's CallAudioFix.zip in that thread – can't find it right now, but I can look for it later if it's any help). That sent my phone into a bootloop.
My problem is that I can't boot into Recovery or Download mode. Windows (in a VirtualBox) finds a SAMSUNG_Android device per USB, but ODIN can't find it (doesn't show anything under ID:COM). ADB in my terminal finds the phone, but it shows it as unauthorized, so I can't use it, either.
I appreciate any help – thanks in advance!
Try pressing all botton after screen turn off press recovery combo botton fast or download mode combe ,that worked for me once when i downgraded without wiping data

Thanks for your tip, didn't work for me, sadly. If I press and hold the combination for the recovery, I get back into my bootloop. If I press the combination for download mode, nothing happens until I hold it for too long and trigger the battery disconnect (volume down + power).

Try holding all botton for long time about 1 min ,or open phone remove battery connector and add it again ,then recovery combo ,for me it took some time and trying to get for recovery ,press combo before kernel logo appear

I'll rather avoid trying to remove the battery for that.
If I hold all buttons, I can only get the "Samsung S6" screen to flash for a second before it goes off and on again (tried for a minute as you suggested).
I tried holding the combos before the kernel screen, directly at it and holding it for a minute, but it only sends me back to the bootloop. Also, I don't get any text on the kernel screen.
Guess I have to keep trying around for a bit...
Try after that flash appears for second to press combo fast i remember that worked for me at same state of bootloop

No luck so far with that approach yet. :/ But thanks again for the suggestion.
