[Q] LG C800 bootloop - General Questions and Answers

LG tries to factory reset and fails. says it can't mount /system
Tried many compinations I found online to get into recovery, no luck
Tried E-recovery (s/w upgrade) which it wont boot into, only continues bootloop
Tried a USB jig with only a faint option of hope, nothing.
ADB and Fastboot come up as access denied for any and all options.
Pretty sure it's bricked... figured I would ask if there are any other options

ASus Slider SL101 Boot issue

Hello,
I have had a Slider for a few months but just the other day it seems to have stopped working. I was in the process of wiping and factory resetting the device but now it seems to hang on boot at a screen that says:
Last time data wipe failed, continue to wiping data.
Please wait a few minutes....
Wipe-Data done.
And here it just sits forever showing the EEE Pad screen.
I'm not sure what happened to it. I have tried to do the Power + Volume Down and any other recovery steps and I even ran the ADB util to see if I could do something but ADB reports that the device file system is stuck in a "read-only" mode.
I've tried pushing new files to it via ADB in the hopes that it will get unstuck but it just says the file system is read-only and I can't seem to do anything with it.
Does anyone have some ideas on how I can get the device back to a working state?
Thanks very much for any help.

[Q] Stuck in bootloop with no recovery/download/fastboot - Help.

Managed to mess up my phone (Alcatel OT Idol Mini, 6012x) with xposed modules, set it to restart and it's now stuck in a bootloop.
Wouldn't be so bad if I could get into recovery mode or anything, but nope - no combinations of accessing it work. Isn't recognised by my computer, can't force it to reboot in recovery, can't wipe it over usb in its current state.
I've tried ADB, fastboot, ODIN, and searched several guides/tutorials, all of which either require recovery/download mode or the phone to not be bricked.
I don't care about the data on it, it's just frustrating. Any help on how to wipe/fix this thing would be great.

HELP! Recently Installed Xposed, and cant boot, get into recovery or download mode!

So, i recently tried install the Xposed framework and got stuck booting up, so i thought ok, this easy, go into download mode and flash, but when it came to booting into download, it didnt work, then i tried recovery and got the same result. Ive tried rebooting into these modes with ADB but get $ADB_VENDOR_KEYS not set, even though i am COMPLETELY positive that i enabled allow USB debugging, as i was testing builds of some apps that i made on this device.
The device will show that it is charging when plugged in and will get stuck on boot forever.
tried all the boot combinations and nothing.
tried ADB on mac and pc and same $ADB_VENDOR_KEYS not set error
downloaded and updated every driver imaginable
used different cables
any support would be greatly appreciated

Bricked, not sure if soft or hard. Really confused

Okay so I rooted with the tot file, all was fine. Later I wiped and installed cm14 and none of my partitions mounted and data is corrupted. I was stuck in bootloop and from there, I reset it with LGUP. I then rerooted it and tried repairing data partition in twrp. It was stuck doing it's action and nothing happened. I tried to reboot it and it doesn't go into recovery. It goes into download mode, but now LGUP is not recognizing my phone. I am lost and I am sure somewhere along the line I messed up. I need some help fixing this. I searched everywhere and couldn't find anything.
P.S.- its not in the qualcomm mode. The phone is recognized in the device manager.

Possibly bricked galaxy tab A? flickering screen, won't flash anything

Hi all! I have been trying to fix this tablet for weeks. It's an SM-T580 Galaxy Tab A 10.1 tablet. It's actually my girlfriend's tablet and she tried to root it first and she royally screwed it up and I am having a lot of trouble cleaning it up.
So, when I got to it, she already had it stuck on the downloader mode and if you tried to boot it, it went to the blue screen that says "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the smart switch PC software."
So here is everything I did as well as I can remember it:
1. Tried every version of smart switch and KIES software. It does not recognize it ever.
2. Tried to flash custom recovery, but FRP lock is still enabled. She must not have correctly changed the settings in the tablet before beginning the root.
3. Tried to flash stock firmware, but it says it needs to be repartitioned. I downloaded what I thought was the pit file, and repartitioned the chip, but it still won't successfully boot. I tried several different cables and ports.
4. Tried to flash probably 10 different firmwares to see if anything would stick. Used several different versions of Odin all the way from 1.3 up to 13.5. Nothing will successfully boot.
5. Found stock recovery (I believe) and got stock recovery on there but when i get to recovery it says it can't mount anything. It gets a huge list of errors like "can't mount E..." I am able to ADB sideload, but so far nothing I try to sideload works because it says it has the wrong footer and the wrong signature.
Am I boned? She left it plugged in for like a week at least, so my assumption is the emmc chip burned out. Any and all help massively appreciated!
