It would have been nice if there was a little bit of a community that would support the Neo M1.
The phone has got a nice design, decent hardware, and price is good. Neo has not been able to deliver the promised Windows Phone OS and the phone does not have the promised Sony Exmor Camera, but still it's alright for the price.
Biggest downside is there's just no active Dev support for this phone as compared with iNew V3 - the closest rival. Another thing is the M1 has got bigger batteries than the V3 but is not removable so it may be a draw in this case.
Even the Neo Mobile forum has been inactive for quite some time, no news for any updates, did not answer questions..which leads me to ask myself: Is it really a good buy?
Our closest rival, iNew V3 already has Android 4.4..hopefully we can get one as well..

How to flash
Method 1 (for rooted mobile)
1. Check via your Android's google playstore if Mobileuncle is available for your device or Play Store
2. Rename the file as recovery.img (already renamed)
and put it at the root of your internal storage (if rooted phone) or the root of your removeable storage
3. Now run mobileuncles
4. Grant superuser
5. and click on update recovery
it will find your recovery.img and you then choose it
it asks for reboot into recovery
6. click ok
now you are in twrp
this does not need any flashtool......

Choose the scatter file in SP flasher now
choose the recovery.img and boot.img Dev-host and select Download only. or Simply Recovery.img
Hit Download
Then Turn OFF your phone and connect the device in turn off mode while the battery inside
Let the drivers detect the VCOM port .Therefore be patient and wait

1) Download a root explorer app (ES File Explorer for exemple)
2) Enable root directory (in ES File Explorer hit menu, go to settings, and check "Up to Root", then go farther down and check "Root Explorer". Accept any Superuser requests)
3) Rename "Thl bootanimation.zip" into "bootanimation.zip" (for Thl/Mediatek boot animation)
4) Push the "bootanimation.zip" in system/media and overwrite the stock one
5) Make sure that permission is set to -rw-r--r--, and reboot
6) Enjoy

My phone had a corruption system when I use it. I flashed it with the official ROM which it run normally but it doesn't run, it just display the logo THL. Now my phone doesn't boot but my PC identify it and the screen switch on black when the phone charge.

Hi.
You bricked your phone. Your phone won't boot because you have corrupted/wiped /system partition, something goes wrong when you flash or update your system or you use wrong rom.
If you don't have custom recovery you must do full flash on pc. Where are many manuals how to do it on yt and www.
What phone do you have t6c or t6pro? You need to you use proper rom to your device.

7.Sew Recovery. After Odin flashed Recovery , disconnect your phone from the PC to remove the battery and put it back
8. Select the file UPDATE-SuperSU.zip and apply it
9. Restart your smartphone, Root received!
It is highly recommended after receiving Root rights to update (if an update) application SuperSu c app store Play Store

To install the USB drivers VCOM the phone must be turned off and connected to the PC with or without a battery depending on the type of device,
get a screen like this in the device manager of the computer
Once you have installed the terminal will be shown in this way (the COM port may be different)
For those who have problems with the installation of these drivers and have had in the past a terminal mtk
they may have a driver conflict, or even if you just do the confusion and installed it different,
to solve, you can try to use the program

select all items in that report as VCOM USB Preloader in the Mediatek figure right click Unistall and restart the PC
Installation of the Firmware:
PROCEDURE
1) Setup new Firmware
download the new firmware.
Unzip the compressed file and insert into the firmware folder:
a) recovery modded (is necessary for receive right root)
Phone off without usb cable and possibly removed the battery and put back for a perfect reset .....
and hold mode 'of off without usb cable connected!
Run Flashtool version octa-core ..... select the file, and then scatter firmware upgrade
...... NOW ONLY CONNECT USB CABLE not before!
Wait for the end of the installation procedure of the firmware and eventually restart the phone!
This' whole simplified procedure for installing the original firmware.
How to have right root on Flash X Plus
Procedure
Install one recovery modded through the previous link with flashtool (Flag only preloader and recovery files)
after run through recovery place the supersu zip file and you will receive, after reboot, the right root .
Attention after received the right root is not possible to apply the ota update of new firmwares.
