I want to be a developer

Hi friends !!!
I am very happy to see a sub-forum for Galaxy FIt and I am surprised to see many developers like Vishwanathptl, pratyushcreed and many others interested in the phone. Basically I am a Mechanical Engineer but then I love computers and I am very interested in android development. So I need help of you and I need help of the developers in learning this .................... so please post some links of sources to learn android development ............. waiting for you replies

Eclipse IDK:
For developing Android apps
if you really want to be a developer you must try to learn eclipse
APK manager or APK tool:
it is used to edit android apps
it decompiles android apps so that it's easy for us to edit them
YouTube and Google:
for tutorials to learn how to use them

i will try learn that .......... and how do developers modify a ROM and make a custom ROM ????

This thread will help you to create custom roms
but its only for HTC devices and some other famous phones
I don't know how to add support for galaxy fit

Well, You can use the HTC Android Kitchen! In the kitchen, just dont let it change your updater-script to update-script.
All functions of the kitchen will not work as it is actually made for HTC phones. You can deodex your FW, add boot animation support, Change the name of the fw and Compile it!

So is there any similar tool only for samsung devices?

Nope! The HTC android Kitchen is the best option available. Most of it's features Work Man!

Arabic Support for froyo 2.1 or higher

Hello,
I have a way to patch the android 2.1 or higher versions, whatever the device, but need to be rooted only,
to let it read,write and explore arabic ..
its a software batcher can patch a system files we take from the android system of the device and to let the files back to the device by flaching zip.
let me know if any one intreasted ...

Hello to all friends. As you know, not a specific section for this phone, but this phone is the best phone that I have experienced ... Meego Harmmatan OS is open source and based on Linux.
Two versions of the Android phone inf ics and Jelly Bean'is the port that the alpha 5 version of the conversation and the camera will not work correctly. Please help developers.
I work well with the phone ringing but the call did not sound ... but SMS .... I work very well. The Android by Nitdroid port

Help, When i open eclipse (android app development software) and i click android application project and fill in everything and hit finish, the folder and everything else gets built but it says failed to make buildconfig, Please help, What do i do?....:'(

as we all know that maps update v8 is rolling out to all android 4.2 and above
I think that Google is slowly forgetting its biggest version of android.
hope guys you will help me.
please port the update to all 4.2 androids

its not that simple,im guessing it has to do with API changes in every android version.
