Can somebody recommended new firmware for the mk808?

I have already tried all of finless roms 1.5, 1.7 worked perfectly just getting old now 2.1 is not working because of compatibility with my tv I was wondering if anyone has tried anything else?

I have had the best experience with Finless 1.7c and I am currently using it. With Gotham 13.1 b2 is better than it has ever been. One of these days I'll retire it from Xbmc duty and flash full Linux on it and will try to utilize it for Zoneminder duty...
The latest Fw can be found on Geekbyuing website, but I thing Finless 2.1 was better than that, but not as stable as 1.7 for me.

looks like a mix of his work + francos kernel + matrix kernel
my friend installed it on his device and is running great but cm9 kangs are better at the moment
Running it now. It is just another mix. Nothing fixed.
I just did try Drew's beta 1, its not much different to brain masters mix11. But a bit more stable.

Great work anyway, cheers drew

Drew's beta 2 is very nice..
Having tried almost every ICS ROM worth mentioning, the latest CM9 alpha 13 with Franco 12.12 test kernel is the best IMO. Close second is the MV Kang

Drew's beta 2 is the best ICS rom to me but his ICY+S rom will be better, just give it a few days to release.

Two kernels?! Must run like an absolute raped ape. Probably predicts your inputs before you even think of making them.
Simple as that, I hate to run stock, but I need hdmi for tv support and dont know which roms support them. Thanks!
None, only eclair does, not GB
Edit: stock GB rom will also but custom GB roms with custom kernels Will Not!

I believe only the Vagabond ROM supports HDMI because it runs a stock kernel. Other than that all other ROMs do not support it.
i thought the Froyo roms would because they were all based on stock roms and kernels?
as far as i know the hdmi/bluetooth issues didnt begin until GB ports
I got the infused 2.2.1, last update, 1.6 I think. HDMI works great.

The Infused ROM does indeed works great. Don't change anything if your phone is running perfectly the way you want it.

I have infused froyo running on my moms phone and it is still snapper than a lot of the GB roms available :banghead:

I like the newer, faster roms, don't get me wrong. I just need things to work. Had a girl friend in grade school, she was in high school -- older is better.
Is it just me or does this make no sense?

It's just you.
Just flashed the matrix kernel and was needing to go back to the stock cm9 v.4 kernel that was built into the ROM itself. Anyone know if that's possible and if so how? Thanks.
Reflashing the ROM might do it.

not true. ive been using cm since a week since cm first came to android with cm3, on many different phones, cm works great with other kernels. since cm7 and cm9, on the nexus s, ive never used cm stock kernel, always used a custom kernel(trinity).
If you don't want to flash all rom, you can flash only cm9 v4 kernel. I am not able to post the link (less 8 message..)
Go to cm9 thread they have posted kernel separately if you still can't find it let me know

So I recently flashed the new stable version if cyanogenmod 10.1. Upon doing it everything worked fine, except for the camera. I also tried it with synergy rom and got the same problem. My phone, "cannot connect to the camera." I have yet to figure out the problem. Is it because of the recent update with Verizon from md3 to mf1? That's the only think I could think of. My camera works fine running stock, but cannot connect to a camera on custom roms. Anyone know of any solutions?

Try leankernel. But make sure its the AOSP version.

Ktoonsez just recently updated his kernel for also too so it works as well.
As for touch wiz run a md3 based kernel to fix the camera issue Ktoonsez Kernel will work.

Got TWRP installed, and am trying to find a good ROM. Looks like the only active development is KatKiss ROMs? These appear to be incompatible with the 301T. Otherwise, I could only find JB ROMs. Anyone know of anything newer that will work?
I don't think there's been much development for the memo pads. If you're OK with loosing it you could try a TF300 rom, but I doubt it'll boot or work well for that matter....

Actually, I just noticed that Tim has a ME301 comparability pack for his KitKat rom. Check the Development section. Lucky you - his roms are among the best
