Hey all, I call on experts on this forum, I was a beginner. I own a tablet Allview Viva H 8 (allviewmobile.com/products/pc-tablets/pc-tablets-list/viva-h8/specifications/?L=1), which I made a wrong recovery update.
Tablet not access into recovery mode and can not do factory resset.
Module 3G sim is inactive, with any type of sim card used.
Experts here can help me with a good recovery.img file (tablet model described above)
Many thanks, asking you to be patient with a newbie.

can anybody help me!?
Maybe this is a bit late, but hope this helps
Hello, I just repartitioned my Viva H8 tablet.
So I had this around (the recovery image): 4shared.com/file/23KWsUWice/recovery.html
Hope this still helps.
So, to get this tablet in Recovery Mode, hold the volume button then hold the On button.
If the tablet is in a boot loop, then press the Reset button to turn it off, or to flash it.
With this recovery image, to recover the /data partition go under 'apply update from cache', then select the entry with 'Yes- <something>'
I know that is weird, but it took me a bit to find that out.

I have recieved a new phone recently that decided to go into a boot loop after unplugging from charger this morning. Everything was working fine until this. I can not seem to find the recovery menu/reboot into recovery mode. If I hold the volume -, and power button I get a menu in chinese that appears to be for testing and "resetting eMMC". Is there anyone who may know how to enter recovery with this device? The manufacturer is unknown (appears as ALPS in android settings), model number H900. The device has mtk6592 CPU mali-450mp gpu, 2GB ram, 1080p display. Should I go ahead and RMA it? If anyone can translate Chinese I can post pictures of the menu I am able to boot into, however it does not appear to be the standard android recovery menu. Any help would be appreciated!

So ill explain the error like this:
In every android system there are two boot orders (1st is the one where is the operator logo, second is the one where bootanimation.zip gets in place) right?
Well, i tried to unlock my device (ZTE Roamer) using QPST 2.7 build 402 (to backup my wifi settings);
A flasher tool;
And P736TV1.0.0B29 Firmware (Its AT&T)
I did all the steps like said, but my phone didnt boot after 1st boot order (operator logo)
How does the bootloop look like: youtu.be/_Zy4DStAiNY
(Dont worry about the cracked screen, its only the top layer, touch is working)
So if anyone, ANYONE knows how to fix this please help me
Not working:
download mode, not working
Recovery: Not working
Rom: Not working
What works:
Battery charging animation (When connected to charger without pressing any button)
Thats it

There is a general forum for android here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help where you can try to ask to get expert's help.
Good luck.

i bricked my acer b1 a71 when i installed twrp using twrp magic maker. it flashed successfully but when it rebooted it just showed acer logo and thats it. whenever i turn it off just the logo appears and then blank screen. tried to go to recovery but i was only able to go to the first step where you have three choices 1.to go to recovery 2.to fastboot and 3 clean(boot) and whenever i choose one it just shows acer and blank screen. tried to reset it with the pin button but still nothing. my pc doesn't recognize the tablet whenever i plugged it in so thats another problem. i"ve studied all the solutions but they all start with a stock rom and that's the thing i don't have. anybody out here cna help me iwill deeply appreciate. thank you very musch.

Hello guys,
A few months ago, I rooted my phone using kingroot. After a few weeks, i tried to install TWRP custom recover to unlock bootloader. I accidently downloaded a wrong version of it and flashed it using flashify app, after which i booted into recovery to check the new recover mode. But, something awkward happened. THE BOOT MODE DIDN'T OPEN AND THE SCREEN GOT STUCK AT "Booting into recovery". I read on the internet and realised that my device has got soft-bricked. Also, phone wasn't rebooting. So, i found a solution atleast start my phone. I took out my battery, pressed the buttons for download mode and then placed the battery back in and pressed the buttons for download mode and somewhow rebooted my phone (i read about this technique in xda forums). Now, although my phone works but i cannot access the recovery mode as it has got soft-bricked. Thus, i cannot perform a hard reset as it gets caught in that "recovery booting stuck cycle". So, can anyone tell me how to fix this? PLS QUICKLY. aLSO, i don't know much about ADB, so pls explain that too as my friend suggested me to use ADB to fix softbrick but im not sure!!
