Hello,
I was trying to root my phone (Samsung Galaxy Star Pro) following the method on this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2706644
I flashed the recovery file, and also the bootloader file attached there. I successfully rooted the phone, but now when I restart it, all I get is a white screen. Please help me. I tried everything. I don't think I can download the complete ROM for my phone which is around 500 MB because the Internet connection over here is slow as hell. Please help someone. PLEASE.

Hello everyone! I Own a Samsung galaxy tab 2 - gt-p3100. I rooted it and installed Cyanogenmod 11. Actually my tab was on Jellybean. Now, I can boot through recovery only. Cannot enter download mode. When I boot my tab, I can see the Samsung logo, then again a samsung logo ( Yeah I see the logo twice). And i cannot turn off my tab So I have to drain the battery everytime. I tried restore through CWM recovery, i never had a backup but somehow i had a recovery file in advanced restore option. So please help me ASAP. I have all the drivers installed, OFFICAL firmware, odin and required tools on my laptop and pc. please help me to recover my tab back. Even if i lose data, it doesn't matter. Please tell me a way to unbrick. i dont know if its a bootloop or a hard brick or a softbrick.
thank you, everything is appriciated !
Hi there, i own a galaxy tab 2 7.0. Do you still need help or not? I flash my tab almost every week

Greetings;
Tonight, my friend and i wanted to root her phone... (Samsung Galaxy S2)
Unfortunately, not everything went as planed..
Files downloaded: Odin, SuperSU rooting, cm-11-20141119-NIGHTLY-i9100 and google apps and kernel..
First, we flashed kernel via Odin..then installed SuperSU from the recovery...Then the installation for Cyanogenmod11 failed...After that, the phone would not turn on..
Then, we downloaded firmware of the S2...flashed it via Odin..it stoped at 90-95% (or something like that)..and it said FAILED..
Then she turned off her phone..and the error appeared..“Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again“.
..She couldn't get pass that message..She turned of her phone, got the battery out for 10 sec.. She cant enter the download mode nor the recovery mode..
Please..i beg you for some help.. ..I would hope that this resolves with a successful fix..i wouldnt want to be responsible for anyone's phone nor do i wish to see her disappointed...
Thanks in advance
Cheers

Hello everyone, and thanks for taking the time to attempt to help me.
Earlier today, my T-Mobile Galaxy S5 updated to 5.1.1. I searched google and came across a few links on how to root my phone (G900T) - The one I ended up using was CF-AutoRoot
I used Odin 3.07, used the tar5 file from that site above where I downloaded the root, and attempted to root the phone. Odin says everything worked as planned ''passed'' was displayed with 0 fails. I waited about 20 minutes, but my phone never rebooted, it was stuck in a boot logo loop ' 'Samsung Galaxy S5 powered by Android'' or ''T-Mobile'' was displayed.
I tried going into recovery and reseting all data / factory wipe but that didn't help, and made it even worse. Now my phone says this when I try to turn it on: ''Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again''
How do I go about getting back to stock firmware , that is rootable, so I can then proceed to install CyanogenMod?
EDIT: I used Kies and was able to get back to stock firmware and the phone turns on.
Can anyone recommend a reliable root for the G900T S5?

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
It's good to hear that you managed to revive your phone. Many of us find it convenient to install a custom recovery such as TWRP which makes backing up and restoring, switching ROMs, and many such activities much easier. XDA happens to have an active and friendly area dedicated to the Samsung Galaxy S5, and specifically to the T-Mobile version at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s5. I suggest you search that area or simply post your question in the Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s5/help where our experts will be most likely to be able to guide you.
bought this second hand verizon galaxy s3 4.4.2, rooted it with towelroot, and flashed twrp using twrp manager and when i tried to boot into recovery, i had a warning sign that software has been tampered with and i should contact verizon for help, i tried to recover using a stock rom with odin but it fails each time, i did some researcch for many hour without success.
sometimes the screen tells me to use software repair assistant, i was able to download it but it never detected the phone, just sits there while phone is connected, btw drivers have been successfuly installed.
i tried kies, didn't work either.
i know now that it had to do with locked bootloader, but this is my first verizon phone.
please any help will be appreciated!
Edit and solved!!!

Here is my issue...
Hello. I have a problem and a question. My problem is that I can't startup my Samsung Galaxy S3. It says the partition is corrupt. I can't boot into any recovery mode, except Odin Mode. I have never rooted my S3 before, but I would like to use Mobile Odin to flash my phone to get it running again. One problem, I don't have access to a computer, but I do have access to another Android device. Is there a way to flash my S3 from a different Android device using Mobile Odin, or any program at all. Or can I run some sort of program from my SD card? I need my S3 back up and running?
Thanks.
