My SIm cards seem to have had the option to disable the PIN code disabled. I have tried several different phones. On connecting to the phone network I enter the pin code and it's accepted no problem. But when I try and disable the PIN code lock, it wont work. It either says, not supported, or wrong pin code. I am entering the correct PIN, many many times! I have tried this in Android Kit Kat, GB, Win 6.5 and an old Nokia. Always the same result.
Could this be locked by the network operator so it cannot be removed? Is there a work around?
I have tried to search, but have not found an answer.
Contact the nework operator , i had the same problem.

Hi Guys and Gals, I am moving back from M5000 to M600 but I am having a bit of difficulty unlocking the Sim. I have followed the Wiki directions and have my unlock code. The problem is that when I insert my new sim I am not asked for a network password but simply informed that I have an invalid or missing sim card, therefore I cannot unlock.
Any bright suggestions out there?
yep
i had the same problem
try to put a small piece of paper between your simcard and your battery,
for me it's working
Try a different SIM if you have one.
Hi guys, i have a similar problem, i run lokiwiz 03a and get the unlock code, then try a different sim, on boot up it first asks for network unlock code, i enter it, then it asks for service provider code, i then enter the same code, it then proceeds to the today screen, searches for network, then the phone goes into flight mode (well the phone function shows off) then the sim lock pops up again and asks again for the two unlock codes??? i have tried with various sim networks, hard reset and manually copied the .cabs to ROOT of phone, with no luck. help..... each time i try Lokiwiz it gives same code...
Hi fellows,
I searched for a program to reduce my time using my Windows Mobile Rhodium.
I activated my SIM Pin. If I switch to airplane mode and re-enable the phone for calling, I have to enter this SIM Pin. This is a wanted behavior. But I also use the phone lock Pin to lock my phone. So I have to enter a Pin after to unlock and use my phone.
But now my problem:
If set my Rhodium to airplane mode and lock it with my lock code, I have to enter 2 Pins the unlock and re-enable the phone. On Symbian I could choose to enter only the lock code and the SIM Pin was not necessary.
Maybe somebody can help me.
Thanks for all.
Moved as not software release.
As far as I know, there is no such feature for Windows Mobile.
Hi there
I have the network unlock pin for my Sensation but when I put in a different sim from another network the phone just says no sim card inserted and asks for a PIN number.
The phone is locked on 3. I tried with O2, Giffgaff and Vodafone simcards and I get the same thing. The simcards work fine with my older phone and neither of them is locked with a pin number. I tried the default PIN for the respective network and I got a message saying Incorrect Pin. When I enter the unlock code (even though not prompted for that) I get the same message.
Has anyone else had that? Any advice?
Thanks in advance

because i cant remember setting it up
i tried the usual pins i have but to no avail.. no i only have 10/15 attempts
can someone walk me out of this feature?
It is a feature, which sets, whether it asks for the SIM PIN when you turn on the phone or not.
PIN is given with the SIM, so if you don't know it, you will have to contact your operator.
Android pin issue
My sim card is pin protected - it's not possible to disable this pin - I tried also contacting my operator. Is there any app able to enter this pin automatically when I restart phone, close airplane mode, so I will not see this annying pop up every time?
