Manufacturer RM-875_eu_euro1_212
Mobile Op. O2O-GB

Well, hi folks...
I recently bought a Nokia Lumia 710 but and I didn't understand a lot about the Windows Phone 7.5, and so I'm here learning...
First of all I think is worth say my Nokia is running Build 12121 Tango and that is was updated via navifirm and ncs...
I first got this issue when I tried to flash a Chinese build 12180 Tango and Support Tool gave an error: Signature Verification Failed... That was ok, I didn't need that update anyway... but now I was trying to downgrade my phone's boot-loader to qualcom's but apparently ncs keep giving me this same error... I tried to another rom (an old one, 12120) just to test, but this time it was from my country, and now it worked. Then, apparently this issue occurs when I try to flash another country's rom, but I need to in order to downgrade to qualcom's bootloader (once I have it dload). My country is Brazil, my current rom is branded by Claro Brazil (actually, the original carrier once bought from).
Is there anyway I can get it working...
P.S.: I'm trying to flash a Russian variant build 12120 that was given here in this tuto: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1599401
Hi, i wanna know if it's possible to change the RM of a device, in order to put another firmware on the at&t Lumia 1020.
I know that a at&t 1020 can't flash any other rom than at&t's rom, but i need to ask if a RM change can solve that.
Thank you for your time!
As far as I know there is no way to flash AT&T's Nokia Lumia 1020 (RM-877) with the International version of the Nokia Lumia 1020 (RM-875). I'm always hopeful that someone will find a way to flash a not AT&T ROM, but that hasn't happened yet.
Any updates?
Does anybody know of any progress on this?
I am very saddened that I am still not getting any where close to full functionality having moved from the states to denmark (europe) :/
"full functionality" ? Anyway, I haven't seen any progress yet.

Just to clarify a bit By not having full functionality I meant I can only use one provider in Denmark (the one witch also happens to have the worst coverage but it is the only one using the same bandwidth as in the US), I can't use LTE / 4g and I cant use it outside of Denmark (in germany for example).

So, you can't.
Anything new?
Does anyone know whether there has been any development on this?
In sorry to tell you guys that flashing a rm 875 with a 877 firmware (or other way) won't make any difference because 4g lte bands it's configured at hardware level not software, by the way I already flash a 875 with 877 firmware and as I told you it didn't make any difference ?
Just in case you missed this.

Heathcliff's Windows Phone Internals
I know this is an old thread, but I'm checking to see if using Heathcliff's Windows Phone Internals will work? I have two 1020's one 64gb from the EU RM-875 & one 32gb form ATT RM-877. I want to use the 875 in the USA now & checking to see if anybody knows if Windows Phone Internals will work & not mess up the phone?
Cheers

The informations on download mode are in chinese and I don't see any number. Have you an other solution. Thanks
According to the screen shots, the phone had an sm-g930o bootloader and baseband but the model number says 930fd.
Does the IMEI match a 930o or 930fd? Where did you get the phone? Does the IMEI in the phone match the IMEI on the box or anywhere on the packaging?

The IMEI in the phone IS the same that on the box. When I check IMEI, the return IS G930F Galaxy s7 (SM-G9300) and the phone IS a dual sim
The 930f (exynos) and 930o (Qualcomm) are different models.
The 930o is a China phone: http://www.phonemore.com/samsung-galaxy-s7-duos-sm-g9300/specs/3148 which explains the Chinese writing in download mode.
Where did you get the phone? Box looks like an original Samsung box? Does the phone have a label on the back with the IMEI?

I buy it on internet and yes the box is an original and the phone have the label on the back.
Do you know if I Can install Twrp and root this one and some custom roms? Thanks
I would not flash anything until your know the model number for sure.
The phone could have been put together with different parts or installed with incorrect software.
You see any model number in download mode? If there is no English, maybe attach a picture of the download screen.
Since the text in download mode is Chinese, I think the motherboard inside is a 9300 and the 9300 ROM could not be used because the China phone would not have the Google Play store.

But I have Google play store because if you look at the PDA it's G930FXXU1BPH6 which is G930F Hungary fw. They have mix some different fw. BL and CP are G9300 china and CSC is G9350 Hong Kong (TGY). I don't know that it was possible. I think the bootloader are unlock but not sure
If the bootloader is for a 9300, then it is a China model and the stock 9300 rom would not have the Play store which is probably why it has a 9300 bootloader and a rom from another country.

Yes you're right if the PDA is China. In my case the PDA is Hungary. For my culture, the PDA contain the different Google apk and services, no?
I would contact the seller and ask why the software is mixed up and maybe exchange the phone for another phone.

Ok thanks to you. I think he had convert a sm-g9300 into a sm-g930fd.
Samsung phones can't be converted from one model to another. Samsung bootloaders are not always locked but they are restricted to running bootloaders that are made for a particular model. Odin will not allow you to flash a 930f bootloader onto a 930o phone.
The phone motherboard is probably a 9300 and will only take ota updates if it is running a stock 9300 ROM. I'm not sure how you will be able to install security updates and patches.
I have the same problem. My phone is g930f buy the chipset is snapdragon. What firmware should I flash now?

Whichever model it says in Download Mode is the correct model, everything else can be faked, flash firmware for the model in download mode
I just purchased a used Note 20 Ultra that was originally for At&t and unlocked, I am using it with my T-Mobile sim and all works fine. I am little concerned as the UI is 3.1 and Android Version is 11 and it says software is up to date, is this correct?
Before I purchased it I also requested Unlock code from At&t and they sent the Unlock code which is weird since it is already Unlocked .....Maybe I am just being paranoid.
The imei on the phone matches the imei on the back of phone and shows all clear on swappa imei.
So the question is how can I tell is any software/fw was altered on this device to Unlock it early?
*#1234# shows the following versions:
AP: N986USQS2DUH3
CP: N986USQS2DUH3
CSC: N986UOYN2DUH3
Model: SM-N986U
I have installed Phone Info+ (SAM) in case anymore info is required to help with this
Thank you in advance for any help.
I think that I'm in the same boat. I received a insurance replacement phone that was unlocked, but I think that Geek Squad had to get an unlock code to get it to work on Tmobile. My phone has never been updated. It's still on the software that it shipped with. My old phone had the black screen of death, and I'm trying to flash a more recent version of Android with Odin. What's your baseband version?
My Baseband version is N986USQS2DUH3
