How does the extended battery, specifically the hyperion feel on the phone? Does it fit in your pocket easily?

Just picked this up. I have the Hyperion battery, but this case still works fine since both have the same battery and back door.
The case is great. $7 and it's the nice smooth tpu, not that cheap honeycomb crap fake of a tpu case that Hyperion makes.
This is nice to hear. I have a Hyperion 4200 mah battery on the way and this exact Qcell TPU case, so hopefully I have the same experience with it.
I got the white back cover with the hyperion (didn't realize they had black ones at the time) and the black TPU case, so I may just paint the hyperion back cover black if the color difference bothers me that much lol.

If you have the case on the phone you won't see it. Lol. No need to paint. I have a blue back on my Hyperion.
Chiming in. It's a bit expensive but the Seidio surface extended battery cover and case will work with the normal extended holster if you opted for one of those at the time of purchase(go by the name of pt or platinum as well).
Best combo, but expensive and fits the 4500mah battery

I have a QCell extended battery, but I don't use it. The battery cover interferes with the camera flash. I think it's because the flash and camera lens are surrounded by the back, and peek out of holes in the cover. It's something I've noticed on both mine and my wife's phones.
That seidio case looks like it wouldn't have that problem, because the camera and flash are not surrounded by case. Do you happen to know if it would work with the QCell 4200mAh battery? Also, I can see where to order the case on Amazon, but I don't seem to see the battery cover. Where can I get that (assuming it would work with the QCell battery, of course)?

The Seidio battery door + case will work with the 4200 mah batteries from QCell, Hyperion (and Anker i think?). The reason why its superior is because the battery door and the case taper out/bulge out slightly where the battery is. The top and bottom are absolutely flat similiar to stock. So with the flat upper area its essentially the same stock Camera and Flash visibility with the ability to hold the extended battery.
I actually did a review on this under the AT&T section with pictures and information on how to order the battery door separately without a bulk battery purchase.

Thanks. I'm going to get the battery cover and the case with the kickstand (miss my Evo kickstand). I contacted Seidio and asked about the battery door, and they said that I could order one from them for 14.95 plus S&H. The case is on Amazon. Early Christmas present!
I had a Seidio extended battery and case for my Evo, and I loved it. Great products! Expensive, but great!

To order just the battery back cover/panel you need to call Seidio Customer service (phone number is on their website).
When you speak to a representative, advise them that you are interested in purchasing battery door for the Galaxy S3: (Product Code below).
Product Code: BVY35SSGS3-BK
I recently got an extended battery off of ebay, and it works great. Unfortunately, the NFC antenna not in the extended battery cover. I've seen some people extracting their nfc battery from the stock back and implanting it in the extended battery cover, but I would really like to avoid damaging anything.
I was wondering if it was theoretically possible to just simply make a new antenna out of a thin metal, such as copper tape or aluminum foil, and sticking that into the extended battery cover?
Extended battery with a back cover flip case?
Anyone see one?
And i don't mean the ugly battery cases.
Cheers
