I've completed steps 1-3 of the following

Now it's time to install a custom ROM. I'm trying to get a kitkat version but have no idea where to download them from.
The ROM section on the forum doesn't seem to have any links to where to download files.
Can someone help me please?

go to the development section of this forum
all roms are there

So I've tried to down load and install the latest and greatest from Beans, I've read hundreds of pages in the developer thread for his ROM, watched the videos embedded in the thread and followed the links to DL the ROM.
I've flashed the ROM and notices that the install is different from the video and the boot up. I am not getting 4.1.1, when flashing it looks like I am only going to 4.0.4 or Build 9.
can anyone direct me to a valid download of build 10, or offer some insight on why I am not seemingly getting build 10. I have done all that is required for a clean flash, and am trying to go from rooted stock to the beans ROM.

I know that, and thats the link that I followed, hence my post and confusion since I am not getting the same thing. I have gone through the DL again, and will be installing the ROM from d2vzw_JellyBeans_B10
See what happens this time around...
in my infuse(rooted,unlocked.GB2.3.6) downloading mode is coming recovery mode is not coming and phone is also no switching on please any one can help me..........

Please give me some more details, i can try help you.
below are some things that i have done on beganing,
I have flashed rooted Carbon ROM directly that also included CWM.
to flash that rom, i do not correctly remember, but iguess on XDA i have gone through one Thread step by step to root and flash the carbon ROM.
you can find the Carbon ROM OP Thread very easily, just search on Google "Carbon ROm for infuse 4g" and the search result with XDA developers site link -you must click.
This is the ROM that allow you to directly flash the Jellybean 4.2.2 ROM to GB ROM, no need to flash ICS.
and there on the main thread they have given the details step by step to go into CWM recovery mode.

Hi naveen,
I suggest that search for thread naming " return to stock working PIT" and follow the instructions, your phone will start at stock rom......
hope this works....

it was working on stock rom when i try to install avatar rom on cwm recovery it shows dont forget gapps suddenly the color was changed after that i try to restore backup wont switch on

I have done this with some tablets and some phone but I dont know how to do it with this Tf300t.
Since every instruction is a bit old, I dont know were to find proper instructions to unlock/root/install CWM(or other Recovery) and then flash a ROM.
Could someone help me ? is it possible to post a link to a topic were I could find this information?

You have to use the Asus unlocking tool (google it) and after that, the steps you take are depended by which ROM you want.
I was looking into custom roms for my P5100 and I wanted to try Pac Rom but when I went to click on the download links it came up with 404 Error I believe the links might be down does anyone have a mirror link to the zip file? Was really looking forward to trying this rom out. Im unable to ask in the main forum for this rom cause I haven yet posted 10 posts.
