I am new to a forum, read the full guide on how to install Android on HD2, found all the utilities, except ROM itself.
Can anyone advise where I can download "TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 .zip with CWM"
Can't find a link
Thanks

Hi im sure this topic has already been covered but I am not able to find the exact thread im looking for.
please direct me tot he right place.
I am currently using cyanogenmod ver 5.0.5.3-N1 on my Nexus one and I would like to upgrade to the latest version which has been released for froyo.
Is there a newer recovery image to be flashed on the rom as well?
will all my applications and associated data also be transferred to the newer version?
does the modded rom have 720p video capability?
Thanks alot. much appreciated.

Hi, On this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=933951 forum you need to scroll down till Install tutorials (thanks to unsinkable2): Then download Clean Installation. That's a PDF file with all information you need.
Good luck
Thanks.. I'll try

Well, in the download section from the first post you can choose from several mirrors to download the rom. Mirror 2 works for me fine.

Try any gingerbread ROM, they are all stable.
1. I would suggest CM7, or Oxygen.
2. These type of threads are not allowed.

ohh i am sorry .. i am new here so don't know anything.. can you tell me how to install Rom on my phone.. if possible can u come online?
how to install rom
First you have to root your phone
Download Unlock root (search on google for DL link)
enable debug USB, connect to your pc and root
Download a .zip rom (like cm7 or oxygen) and put zip on your SD
After install rom manager and flash a recorvery with the app rom manager (DL from market), you have to turn off your phone, and press "home+volumedown+power"
You are in the recorvery, wipe user data, cache, dalvik cache and do "install zip from sd" and select the zip on your SD
Reboot and enjoy
Google tutorials to root ur device. Once you are done rooting, search xda for oxygen rom cm7 or hehappy's stable ics rim released 7 Jun. Both are stable and gud roms. Fast and fun..

Just explore
Hey, take this in a positive note.
Granted, you are a new user, so you should read the Sticky threads first, which will help you understand the rules, tell you where you can find the most relevant information, and contains quite a lot of information for beginners. The spirit of these forums is to read and understand, not to get quick answers. It should serve as a knowledge base, so useless threads shouldn't be posted.
Then, this kind of questions are not allowed, because there is no single ROM which is the best. Each user will consider different ROMs as their personal best, depending on their needs and usages. Just explore the forums, read about various ROMs and you'll find many ROMs, and some of them will satisfy your needs. Again, see the sticky threads for learning about how to root, install recovery, change your ROM etc.
try out the custom rom GingerSnap by neko95, the most updated rom so far based on latest cm7.2
we dont need this threads..
use every rom and find out whats best for you.

I've completed steps 1-3 of the following
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1631861
Now it's time to install a custom ROM. I'm trying to get a kitkat version but have no idea where to download them from.
The ROM section on the forum doesn't seem to have any links to where to download files.
Can someone help me please?

Everything works great except the 3G. Works ONLY in Facebook Messenger and Viber.
Installed it as any other ROM, with TWRP and a SD card or you can use SP Flash Tool. Same process as any other rom installation
Hope this help a little bit :fingers-crossed:
Here is a post how to install install TWRP
