[GAME] MMORGPG ***Parallel Kingdom***

I found this game and been playing it for awhile. It was on the Iphone but it has a android port. So you can run around and kill all the Iphone people (LOL). Anyways you can use my referral code to get 1000 gold after you do the tutorial. Anyways its simple but fun.
Use Code lunnf
Also, if you want 1,000 gold here is what you do:
When you first begin the game, hit the Menu button and then tap "Profile." In the Profile page, tap the red button in the upper right hand corner and then "Enter Referral Code." Type in "lmali" without the quotes. This is my referral code. If you do not want to use mine just scroll to the section below. You'll get 1,000 Gold once you complete the tutorial. Be sure to enter the code in right away. After the tutorial is done, you won't be able to enter it in anymore.
Thanks ill try
Dont you have to pay real money to play that game.
No money required to play.
This game is BS, you need "food" to do things like level and the only way to get food is to buy it WITH REAL MONEY or recruit other people. Its fun for a day or two but quickly gets frustrating when you realize you are going to either have to pay, recruit others, or stop playing.
the guy must get some kind of bonus for refferals, thus he is spamming his code here and there. I've heard this game requires real money to play, but the guys just playing you about you dont need to.
Well I mean technically its not a scam, or at least its a scam hidden inside of a seemingly well meaning game. The problem is that in the game there are 2 major items to collect, food and gold. The gold is obvious, and you get it from many types of kills or actions but the food you cannot get without paying or recruiting another player. This is where they get you.
Currently I have spent about 2 hours adventuring and am at the point of leveling for the first time but I cannot level and get my skill point until I pay 80 food and I only have 77. If I want to continue playing I will either have to recruit someone else, buy food with real money, or sell something for food on the games market which is purely player driven so there are no default prices on basic items, just whatever people want to change.
Either way it has great potential but I think the publishers are the scam artists using this system to force players to recruit or spend money, either way the sole purpose of the game is to profit the devs.
@brandenk
I am one of the developers/publishers of Parallel Kingdom and I would like to respond to several of your statements.
"the food you cannot get without paying or recruiting another player. This is where they get you." - You can easily acquire Food in any of the trade posts in any city in the Parallel Kingdom world. There is absolutely no need to buy Food for cash to be successful in the game, you can trade and get any amount you want.
"I think the publishers are the scam artists using this system to force players to recruit or spend money" - The business model behind Parallel Kingdom is no different than any other "free to play" MMO. In our minds, at least our game allows people to try it out before they spend any money. We give them 300 free Food with their new character (it costs 80 to level so that is more than enough for 3 levels). And this model allows players to do a little more work in the game collecting resources so they can trade with other players that prefer to spend more money on the game.
"the sole purpose of the game is to profit the devs" - As much as I would like to say that I make games solely for the love of seeing people enjoy them, I still need to feed my family. We have been developing this game for over 2 years. The game is on the third version (Age of Emergence) which just debuted in November 2009. This is the first version that even had a way for us to make any kind of money on the game. The first two versions (the first year and a half of the game's life) had no way for players to spend money even if they wanted to. I'm sorry but eventually a company has to get some revenue or it simply can't support itself or its games any more.
If you are serious about this game then I would suggest a few things since I have worked for a few game companies in the past. One game I would as a solid free/paid model game is Free Realms by Sony.
First you need a store with set prices that is not player controlled. Sell basic things like lvl 1 weapons and armor, boots, gloves, all that stuff for set prices and allow players to buy or sell. This would help first time players get into the game more quickly because it would be reliable and familiar. Giving the player control is key instead of having them rely on other players.
Turn the store into an auction house. This is where all prices are controlled by the player. This way players can craft items, upgrade, and sell them to other players interested in special items. Keeping the noob market and hardcore market separate helps a lot in keeping both spectrum of players happy.
Give us a screen that shows equipped items and not all the items we currently possess. Using the items list to figure out what you are wearing is annoying.
If I kill a deer I should get food! Food is not something you should be charging players for. Going off of what you said I would think people "pay for" this game because of 2 reasons. Either they are the total noob and want some help or they are a l33t haxor. So going off that assumption it would seem like good things to charge for would be special weapons and armor or rare crafting items that can lead to better weapons/armor than you can build or find in the game.
Either way like I said in my first response, I have played this game well over 2 hours so there is something there, but there is a lot of room for improvement before this is going to be my go-to-game while I am mobile.
Yes I get a bonus from refering people. You can play and get your gear up without needing food. You can buy food from other players. Its not all bad. Not saying this game will rock your socks off but you can still play it without buying food and get most of the features of it.
It is interesting at first but yeah, you have to spend 'real' money to get supplies hire people for instance. Uninstalled.
Just wanted to mention that a ton of new content has been added...
New Monsters
New Skills
New Weapons
New Pets
And a New Dungeon (Dragon's Lair!)
Would love to hear some feedback about the new stuff. Thanks!
I've started playing two days ago and it's OK but it's not worth it. Food is too expensive, and the game is not good enough to pay that much for it.
I'm sorry but market is full of free games more addictive than this one.

This is assuming somebody is willing to spend real money on Food and then turn around and sell it for gold or whatever.
THIS NEVER HAPPENS, so he was correct your HAVE to buy food with real money to progress further in the game.
I have been playing this game for over a month now. I am @ level 19 and I haven't paid any real money on this game. I get all of my food from sales of items I collect in this game and a couple referalls. There is a kind of price regulation in the game set by the players. For example, for 1 food you pay 100 gold. There are people who do nothing but sell food at the trade posts in the game. Also, ask around on the help chat to find out what certain items are worth either in food or gold. I recently sold 150 wood on the game for 8000gold and 75 food. If you do want to start playing this game, I would suggest you talk to people in help chat. Also look for my name, Lunacyinc, in the help chat, and ask me any questions you have. I would be happy to help. And one last thing, don't believe the promises about free gold or weapons from referal codes or bonus codes. These "bonus" codes do not exist. Its all just a scam for those people to get more food.
if someone finish tutorial, please write my referral code:ivcuz
I've been playing this game for almost 900 days now. I literally started on day one when both this game and android were both brand new. I've quit for months at a time but always get drawn back. I've helped to implement features, test things, make suggestions, and lead a few of the biggest groups to ever exist in the game.
This said I'd like to mention that I've never paid a penny on parallel kingdom, or PK as many call it. It's a great game that has more social aspects to succeeding than most games do. If you can't master the social aspect of help, friends, and territory it won't matter how much money you spend... you won't get far. If you can then you've found the real value in PK.
I'm also not posting my referral code because firstly I don't roll like that and secondly i don't need any food or to spend money on the game to be successful at it.
In game name is Caern if you need any help getting started.
I've played this game for about 30 days now and haven't spent a single dime.
You can trade for food at reasonable rates through the trade posts and it isn't that hard to get gold to trade for food. If you use your food wisely like the tutorial tells you to do, you will not need to trade for food until you are about level 10 or so.
At that point you will have either found a good hunting spot where you can make good gold/hour or you will find good resources from NPCs that you can sell in the trade post for food/gold.
Sometimes it seems a little tedious, but it is fun.

Beaver Karts: More than Driftwood?

The Lowdown
I was looking for something fun to play on phone and I came across this. It was free in the app store so I figured that I’d lose nothing by trying it out. The first thing that I noticed was the cover art which presented itself as cute and colorful. I wondered if this would translate to the game as well since, for me, cute is almost always a good thing. As I downloaded the app, I kept wondering about how silly the entire concept was. I thought to myself, “What is the point of such a weird game?” The game revolves about you being a Beaver with his own custom wooden cart. Apparently, this Beaver has a nasty need for speed and spends his time travelling downhill (and aiming for an X-games promotion) in his cart. To make things interesting, you can perform an assortment of tricks such as wheelies and flips.
Learning the Ropes
The game is pretty basic. You will have to guide the Beaver on his downhill descent as you perform a series of tricks. You have 2 buttons to control the cart: tilt forward or tilt backward. Tilting the cart backward, for instance, will allow you to ride on only 2 wheels (classified as a wheelie) and will grant you bonus points. Doing a tilt after a jump will make the cart flip which is worth massive points (given that you land safely). You will also have to collect gold coins on the downhill path to glory. One thing to remember is that you have a limited amount of fuel to burn during the stage and this is what limits your journey.
Gold collected will determine the types of upgrades you can afford for tricking out your Beaver cart. I’m not sure if these upgrades affect the performance of your vehicle or are purely aesthetic in nature. Take note that before starting a stage, you have 3 specific goals that you can opt to do during your downhill run. Accomplishing them grants you bonus gold and that’s what you want to do in order to earn more and upgrade your cart.
There are power-ups in the shop which you can purchase with gold or purple acorns. I guess that is the premium currency for the game which you can buy with real money. Some of the powerups that can make your run more interesting.
Not a Wallet Hurter
I got the game for free in the app store. Not bad since you get to you can try it out at no cost.
What I think
I like the game due to the simplicity of its graphics which comes out as a cute cartoony experience. It is simple yet entertaining. Unfortunately, it is far from perfect. I find a big lack in terms of customization. There are only a few choices of upgrades to choose from (around 5 per category). Also, you are stuck with the beaver. Not that I don’t like him or anything but, I would very much want to see a giraffe try to cart. Some mini-games would also help break the monotony that comes after a while.
I suggest keeping this at hand during lull times. This might In fact, it might be worth using while waiting for the bus, waiting for your food in restaurants, or during your breaks to the bathroom.
This is actually a good game. Challenging yet fun at the same time.:good:
Tried this one out but the game is too challenging for me. It was hard controlling the beaver's kart. I always crash and burn. Poor beaver.
I thought the game was for kids, it was hard to control at first but eventually I got a hang of it. It was actually fun.
I've downloaded this game a few weeks back and was surprise that you made a review about this game. I totally agree with the points that you have stated in your article. The game is fun but hard at first. Luckily, I was patient enough to keep on playing the game until I got a hang of it.
groan RExesd
My curiosity got the best of me and I've downloaded this game. It is frustrating at first but since I am really competitive I wanted to perfect my every run. Now, I can double backflip and frontflip. I'm aiming to perfect my wheelies and to achieve a triple backflip/frontflip. :highfive:

[GAME][4.0+] Fisherman - Monsters and Stuff - fast paced, pixel crafted arcade game

FISHERMAN - MONSTERS & STUFF
Hi! My name is Al Fish. I’m the hero of the Fisherman.
When my parents ran the Fisherman v. 1.0 for the first time, everybody had a feeling of crossing the border between madness and reality. Just 5 years later they were buried alive on a desert in New Mexico. Probably this is the way the Fishboy was created.
Me, legendary Canadian Australian with the face of a child and the mind of a veteran fisherman.
After a decade of soaking in salty water I met Ron Kowalski and Polish Kielbasa, and got to know an ink printer, a computer with a pitiable capacity and the dial-up 56 Kbps Internet connection. That was purely awesome. Getting connected to the Net almost blew my mind. For the next 6 months I was like paralyzed because of the things I’d discovered. What have you done?
The Adobe tutorials are amazing, the molecular effects and culinary blogs are twice as amazing, but the most amazing is the fact that every web page keeps loading itself for hours.
That was an absolute revolution of my retro Australian arcade reality. That was probably the beginning of a new project - “The Fisherman, Monsters and Stuff”. My world has been being transformed for nearly 15 unforgettable years to finally appear in Google Play and App Store. While this was happening, our budget was deprived of 2 trillions of Fish dollars ( the equivalent of a small packet of French fries, a cheeseburger and medium Coke).
But we have done it.
Every single pixel feels the high shiny wave we are surfing on. Now we are online. Find out how every beautiful morning the 8bit generation absorbs the web. In the fumes of paranoia the next versions of the Fisherman is evolving into something we can’t even imagine
.
You can become a part of it.
Visit Google Play and give us feedback today! (or tommorow, or some day in the future).
looks pretty cool gonna try it now
My eyes :cyclops:
But cool looking! Installing right now and I'll leave feedback in the Play Store.
cool.. i will try it..
Nice !
Wow, that looks great! I'm going to download it and play now. If there is a feature to donate, or buy, I'll spend a few bucks to support further weirdness like this

[FREE][GAME][2.3+] Miner's Dive

And here we are again, another game. This time it's an improved idea from one specific game I've seen on friends iPhone.
In this game, you are supposed to jump from the platform and reach the bottom of the mine. By turning right or left, you will have to avoid obstacles and collect collectibles. Nothing less, nothing more. With each jump, the mine will become more deeper, thus your jump will be longer, and more obstacles will try to block your way.
There are two collectibles, one replenishing your health, and second one making you temporary invincible.
Jump to dive, dive to mine, mine to survive!
From how high can you dive? Equipped with nothing more than a single pickaxe, mine through the world. Watch out for flying stones and planks. Who knows what you will dig out?
Compete with your friends and people from all over the world through online leaderboards.
