Hi everyone
I published my app in Google Play about 3 days ago but now when I try to search it with the title name, meta tags or description it does not show up in Google Play Search Result but if I search it with the developer name or the direct URL it Does show up.
So can anyone help me why it is not Searchable by the title, app name, tags, or description?
App name : Tiles - Icon Pack
URL : play(dot)google(dot)com/store/apps/details?id=tiles.iconpack
I was not allowed to place URL so I put (dot) instead of .

try to wipe its data, uninstall and reinstall again..
well im not sure about that... have a backup...
im not responsible for any data loss in the future... about your app....

So as most of you do, I'm reading about apps in XDA and various other android blogs. I kept running into the whole "highlight-app-name-copy-app-name-open-new-tap-go-to-google-play-click-search-field-paste-app-name-hit-search" game and it thought there has to be a better way.

Add Google play, you don't need the "https://" (see screenshot). Now i can just highlight the app name, click down arrow, choose Google Play and BAM it goes to google play store and searches for the app name.
Go ahead and try it. Its prettly slick.

Hi All,
We have developed a Sudoku App and posted in Google play few days back. As of now we got nearly 450+ downloads by promoting it in AdMob. But when we search with its name in Google Play the App is not visible in search result. Where as few similar apps with 50+ downloads are appear in Google Play. Please any one suggests what I should do to make it visible in Google play search.

Hi!
I'm currently developing and designing a new android icon pack theme and I'm struggeling with finding all package names and activity names.
I found a great website containing a lot of information about package/activity names, but cannot find all Google App names, especially:
- Google Settings
- Google Voice(search?)
- Google Photos
I've also installed QuickShortcutMaker on my phone, but those apps are not showing up in the list, making it hard for me to find the package/activity names.
Is there anyone who knows how to find them or maybe know their names?

How long does it take to have an app show up in Google Play Search Results?
I published my app 1 week ago, and I still can't find it in Google Play Search Results when I search for the exact Name of the App, I browse all the apps, until the end of the page, and I can't find it.
The only way to find it, is when I use the Package name of the app. (But obviously nobody will search with that term). I just tried this to make sure the app is actually published.
Is it just a matter of time? Or is there a way to optimize it, and have it spidered by Google Play Search? I also can't find any info about this in Google Developer Help or searching the XDA forums.
