I always have the wifi issue, it's not i can't connect but the problem
- It connected, but don't have internet access
- the wifi router is on, but the wifi search result is none
- it try to connect , but it takes a long time
All these problem can be solved when i restart the phone, but is there any solution rather than restart my phone?
Because the problem occurs every time i use my phone from lock state.
Try to flash stock rom again

i have a Samsung galaxy s i9003 my sister just got the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc,we both are unable to access the internet using our wi-fi connection at home, it detects the connections asks for the password and connects but we are unable to access the internet using the browser or the android market application ,it just says loading and then times out, what is strange though is that my younger sister has an Xperia X10 running android 2.1 and she is able to access the internet just fine using the same connection.we haven't rooted the phone or anything, please advice.
Check your router settings, dhcp should be on and regular stuff, check just in case...
Apps are unable to work on wifi while I can browse internet on the browser
I have just purchased Samsung Galaxy i9003 and found a weird problem. When I am on 2g/3g all my apps and internet browsing works well. but if I want to switch off the 2G/3G and want to use wifi only my default internet browser works.
I mean none of the android apps are able to using the wifi connection for internet access. Please help

I think it a rom issue or maybe you need hardreset your phone

I am connected via wifi to the wireless network here at work and have never had issues. Yesterday youtube crashed and I couldn't even open the app back up, so I uninstalled the updates for it and then just rebooted the phone. Ever since then I can connect fine to the wifi but cannot use any app that requires a connection (facebook, wwf, you tube, etc).
I do not get a cell signal here in my lab so obviously why that is why I am using the wifi. I am not sure what is going on here. It is super frusterating though.
Every app says I have no internet connection. But the wifi signal is full bars!
Any help would be much appreciated.

Not to sound pedantic, but is the Wi-Fi actually connected to they internet? Have you tried resetting the router and modem? Have you tried manually disconnecting and reconnecting? Maybe forget the network on your phone then rediscover it. Have you tried opening the browser to see if any additional steps need to be taken?
Hopefully it's something simple
Also, try turning on Airplane Mode, then turn on Wi-Fi and see if any apps work when the cell radio is turned off

Yeah it seems that it is. I cannot reset any router as it is our wireless work connection (huge company). I have tried forgetting the network and re-entering the password as well. I just tried putting it in airplane mode and then turning on wi-fi and all of a sudden it works.
Now 5 min later with the airplane mode on it does not work. FML.
So I bought a Xperia z1, used if it matters, and it is having this issue. When I'm done using WiFi and turn it off, the phone can't use the internet, even though the connection seems to be running (full connection bars, H+ symbol) but no data is able to move whatsoever. This doesn't occur every time though, it may as well work just fine. Yesterday I didn't use WiFi and the mobile connection worked the whole day. It also occurs sometimes when I boot the phone. Turning on/off the mobiledata or the airplanemode might work and get the connection running. Sometimes. This is frustrating as hell. I'm running android 4.4.2

I have some problems with WiFi hotspot. The hotspot will stop working, i.e. webpage on my laptop stop loading, after like about one hour everytime I use it and I have to stop it and restart WiFi hotspot. I didn't have this issue with z2.
Anyone has the same problem?
