Is the ballistic case good? I ordered one but I want to know if its a good case.

Its a great bulky case. Very good protection.

As said, it's great but bulky. No more worries about dropping your N4!

Is there anyone using this case. Any good comments about it. I am torn between this and the rearth alphine slim case. Thanks

I currently have the cruzerlite tpu case. I was dumb enough to get the clear one and its now a great shade of brown/yellow. Since I am in Canada with the shipping costs of most cases they all work out to be the same cost, so I figured I would grab something with a little more protection.
The whole reason I got the case in the first place was to give the phone a little more grip since the one x is a little slippy.
If I was looking for a case around the same bulk, with equal grip, and slightly better protection what would be the best choices currently?

I have the Commuter, it's decent, I'm trying the case-mate pop next.
But anyway I'd recommend a dual layer case like the speck candyshell
Amzer hard rubber case .

amzer snap on case or the silicone case?
Well I decided to get the Incipio Silicrylic, seems to be a good mix of looks and protection. Would the black or the grey look better with the white one x though?
Not a fan of the blue.

Wish I had seen this earlier. I just got the Seidio Active with the kickstand and love it. Protects the phone, and looks good while doing it. Couldn't recommend it more.
I'm actually kind of interested in the trident Aegis case I'm not sure if you've looked at that one.

Perhaps that is a reasonable choice for those taking their phone to the battlefield. For the rest of us the commuter seems like a drastic overkill.
When I got my HOX I test drove the Incipio Feather and NGP. The Feather was too minimal and a bit slippery. I love the NGP.
I've seen some reviews online and it looks intruiging. Wondering if anyone has one and can give me a description before I buy. Thx.

Hi been using one for last 3 weeks, got one of the gel ones fits perfect on fone covers all the edges cutouts very precise, adds little bulk to fone has a none slippery feel in the hand plus also using the impactology screen protector so hopefully fone fully protected

Hard to find in the United states. Only found some on amazon. I wish I could find them locally. I heard t mobile stores carry them but I haven't stopped to look yet. I also want to buy one

I have heard that T-Mobile sells em for 35. Amazon has em as well.
Does this have a lip for screen down protection?? I have a slim armor and it barely has a lip on it.

Yes it has a lip

I have the tech21 D3O flip cover case. The inner lining is soft and good for the case in case of drops and the leather flap has a soft surface to protect the screen. There's plastic tabs all around the side of the case to protect the phone except on the buttons. Cut-outs are where they need to be and the back case is raised to keep the camera from scratching and muffling the speaker.
Just be careful with the case you get. I got my case from t-mobile. I got my first one and I noticed that the top left corner did not sit right on the phone. In due time it began to crack and give way. After turning the case in and replacing it for a second one, it now fits perfect and there are no cracks.

I've had the impact mesh case for over a month now. I ordered from Amazon and I got it within 15 days. It's a very nice case, even though I dislike the color (found out they have a dark blue color instead of this smokey one).

good to get with the new stuff for the Samsung phone ... it looks quite right to have and manage the device well ... I'm going to check it over the web to see its features and price .. thanks to share the info ...
Pics would be great if anyone has them.

Is the case really pliable or is it sort of rigid?

Awwwwwww yissssssss. Smoke case on the black s4. Looking good. I have the black s4 and was thinking about picking the smoke one up at the store later today. Now I am for sure. Thanks for the pics.

Well it's pliable when holding it, but rigid once on the phone. Think of it as a gel case: it's thick, yet thin (mind blowing, trust me); and it has great grip (almost like rubber).

I'd personally get the dark blue case. I'm not a big fan of the brown mesh with orange lol. The dark blue seems to make the case completely black with blue/purple accents. I'll probably be ordering it one day soon lol.
Btw, like Tech21 says, the case rises above the screen by a millimeter. Sometimes it feels like if it isn't risen at all lol.

Is there proof anywhere that the D3O technology actually makes a difference in protection?

A case is a case. Any case at all will provide some amount of protection but there's no perfect solution. It does feel amazing on the phone when holding holding it. And it looks good. I like it a lot so far.
Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
I just picked up this case today. I have a white s4 so I got the clear maze pattern with the orange bumper. Absolutely looks sick, I'll post pics tomorrow. The case adds hardly any thickness. However the 3do bumper is a bit thicker. However from what I've seen and read its well worth an extra mom or so.
There is a small lip to protect the face when placed on a table. Fits very tight and pretty confident it won't fall off in the case of a drop. I like the way the case feels in hand. The tpu gives it a great grip. The poetic atmosphere and slim armor i have are quite slippery when you hold the phone and place it down.
I'll upload pics asap.

So ive found this case on Amazon. It's amazing quality and for the price is well worth it. Comes with a holster and the case had a kick stand. It has a real nice smooth finish to it and seems very durable.

Oh the price was 13 $ plus 5 for shipping

I have this case too. Paid around $10 when I bought it with free shipping. Love the case and kickstand. I wish it rerouted the sound like the Eclipse case does, but this case is far cheaper and works well.

Great find. I bought it with the belt holster. Fits like a glove & what a great price.
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 4
That's the first case I had for a few weeks. It was a great case. The only thing I did not like about it was it only slide in and out one way on the belt holster.
I liked it alot until I got my Otterbox Defender.

I was thinking of getting the Spigen Slim Armor, but the lip seems so small... Maybe the Incipio DualPro? I don't know what will be compatible so if you guys have compatible cases please post. Thanks.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 4
All cases are compatible!
I have glas.tr slim and I use otterbox commuter with it alternating with Trident aegis and spigen slim armor in blue.
All work great and I bet others of them should work great too!

I have the slim armor and ringke fusion and it works great with the glass protector I have. It's a generic one but they are all mostly the same except cutouts and branding.

Yea!
I'll be ordering the eclipse as I sometimes tend to miss calls if my phone is kept on a very soft surface that seals the speaker.
And an electra case for travel purposes
