Need opinions of a new case. - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

I currently have the cruzerlite tpu case. I was dumb enough to get the clear one and its now a great shade of brown/yellow. Since I am in Canada with the shipping costs of most cases they all work out to be the same cost, so I figured I would grab something with a little more protection.
The whole reason I got the case in the first place was to give the phone a little more grip since the one x is a little slippy.
If I was looking for a case around the same bulk, with equal grip, and slightly better protection what would be the best choices currently?

I have the Commuter, it's decent, I'm trying the case-mate pop next.
But anyway I'd recommend a dual layer case like the speck candyshell

Amzer hard rubber case .

amzer snap on case or the silicone case?

Well I decided to get the Incipio Silicrylic, seems to be a good mix of looks and protection. Would the black or the grey look better with the white one x though?
Not a fan of the blue.

Wish I had seen this earlier. I just got the Seidio Active with the kickstand and love it. Protects the phone, and looks good while doing it. Couldn't recommend it more.

I'm actually kind of interested in the trident Aegis case I'm not sure if you've looked at that one.

Perhaps that is a reasonable choice for those taking their phone to the battlefield. For the rest of us the commuter seems like a drastic overkill.
When I got my HOX I test drove the Incipio Feather and NGP. The Feather was too minimal and a bit slippery. I love the NGP.

What is the thinnest case available?

I really dislike using any case at all on my phones. I've never used them in the past. But this phone is just so darned slippery, a case is practically necessary to keep from dropping it all the time. So right now I'm using the Diztronic case, and while it is quite thin, it still IMHO adds significantly to the phone's size. Are there any cases that are more just like a thin skin? I am not looking for any drop protection; just looking to make the back of the phone less slippery. I suppose some kind of sticker could also do the job...
Any ideas appreciated. TIA!
Might want to check out ghost armor or something like a full body skin. Basically a screen protector but for your whole phone.
Or check out the incipio feather or one of the barely there cases.

Full body skins are a terrible idea and a recipe for destroying your phone by corrosion, especially on a device with a sealed battery like this one.
Use an HTC hard case or something similar. They are very light and thin, but they will also easily break if you take it off and put it back on many times.
I use the diztronic case and it adds almost no bulk yo the phone at all.
Body glove makes a nice thin case. I bought one at walmart for $20ish.
Thinnest cases are these thin shell cases. I have the black one and it's really thin and doesn't hide the beauty of the phone.

I have both the black one and the transparent one.
They are really thin and add minimum bulk to the phone. However, they also barely protect the phone at all, probably only good for keeping the back of the phone from scratches.
At the back, the case is level with the red/blue ring around the camera lens, i doubt it protects the lens at all.
The transparent one has a frosted feel and is still pretty slippery, but it's better than without a case at all.
I would recommend the black one as it gives a rubbery texture and it's pretty grippy.
Overall i love how the cases manage to give me minimum protection and bulk.
i chose the One S over the X partly due to it's thiness, so i bought these cases to keep it that way.
Cheers!
nice

It really seems to be the thinnest one. However, I haven't seen the "perfect" case yet. I hope someday someone will do it...

only found them on amazon and they will not ship to Canada; any other source?
I've used one of the inexpensive (sub $5) mesh cases off eBay. Extremely thin, feels great in the hand, but quality could be better. Then again I paid three bucks for it.
Dust definitely gets behind the case through all the holes, but I'm willing to deal with that to get the additional heat dissipation for those times when it gets toasty. I just wish I could find a vented TPU case instead of this hard rubberized plastic.

Cruzerlite Androidified A2 TPU Case - For HTC One S

Incipio Sylicrilic Shine

I am a case junky. Just got this case. Best case I have seen for our phone. Way cooler looking, nice lip for front of phone to keep glass off surface, and for that typepf case, it fits better than otterbox, and Trident, while having a slimmer footprint. EXCELLENT case
What other cases do you have or used? I currently have the Seidio Surface (W/O kickstand) and offcial HTC case from AT&T.
I'm looking for a little bit thicker case than the HTC one. Can't choose between Case Mat Barely There or Incpipio Feather. Might just buy both
In ordered mine a week ago. It's sitting at my house waiting for me. Can't wait till I get back home on friday to check it out! It looks slick as hell.

We'll its an identical case I think, it's just metallic. The pictures look incredibly sexy and I'm hoping it looks as nice in person as it does in the pictures because then it will become the new king of cases. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Same brand as silicrylic, although if I'm not mistaken, the Shine has a hard back case, as opposed to the 'strange' feeling back of the Silicrylic Dual.
To those rockin the official HTC one from ATT, have you noticed some strange markings on the back of the phone (White version) where the case doesn't cover? My white one has darker lines from where the blue case doesn't cover.

Heavy duty case suggestions?

Looking for suggestions for HOX case. I am welding in a shop a few nights a week and there is lots of dirt, dust, and fumes. So I need a case with flaps to cover the ports!
I have tried Trident which I loved, but it doesn't fit! They don't make an AT&T version! Currently have Otterbox Defender, which is good but very bulky. I liked how slim the Trident was.
Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

Check out the commuter, not as durable, but it covers the ports, and it's thinner than the defender
The commuter case by otterbox is a great option, tight fit that covers all ports, but not as bulky as other tough cases. If you want i can upload pics

Like everyones been saying... Commuter case by Otterbox. Pretty sure they come with a lifetime warranty, so if it ever breaks, you can just get a new one for free.

I have the Otterbox Defender, pretty damn good case if you don't mind the size. Extremely durable from my experience with it so far too, I've dropped it a few times. A friend of mine with the same case threw his at a wall just for the hell of it, no damage to the case or the phone.
If your not seeking a Defender size case I fitted the Speck CandyShell Grip which felt pretty good. It felt more natural then the Commuter.

looking for a case thats slim fitting and has a belt clip ..

anyone have any suggestions ? please since my only clip just broke
I just bought one from best buy when I was visiting the states. I'll post a full link later, but the case is 34.99, two part with a belt holster. Case is soft touch rubber and resembles the casemate barely there case. Holster is sturdy and secure.
EDIT: The brand is Platinum Series on the best buy site. Again, really nice and I love it to death.

I don't kno if you have bought a case yet, but the htc one x defender case from otterbox is pretty decent, has a plastic screen in front to protect the phone screen as well (So you dont need the scratch protecting screen protectors), And it comes with a belt clip. For 50$ it is a good case that really protects the phone, (50$ when i bought it month and a half ago, so it may be cheaper from att, or amazon might have it for a good price as well.

I know 3 people that have this case, myself included, and all 3 have had the plastic power button piece break off. It's there to provide help in pressing the power button but breaks off easily. Makes it very hard to press the power button after it breaks off. Also, the holster fro mine broke off as well. I like this case, as it's exactly the same as the Seidio Surface case, but I won't be buying another one for my One X.

I use and love the nillkin TPU case. Had a few others, but went back to this. I love it because it is sleek and has a lip to protect the camera:

I just ordered a bag-o-cases from cruzerlite when they were giving away 30% off coupons. I love their designs, but don't like that there is no protection for the camera, but we will see:

I'm preferential to this case:

It's thin; offers protection for the screen, camera, and body; has the cool dual-textured back; and grips my car's console so my phone doesn't go flying around the car while I drive.

Do you know if anyone else is selling the clear black nillkin case?
I bought THIS a while back and have been happy with it. It was cheap. It feels good in the hand. It doesn't add that much bulk to the phone, (i.e. otterbox type stuff), and gives a bit more security for drops than just a TPU or silicone case. Only problem I've had with it is it peels up the screen protector on the bottom right corner. So yeah, good purchase for under $4.
Thanks for the link. The phone my cousin gave came with an otterbox case. Didn't like it. I really like the nillkin one. Found a grey one. Hopefully same as clear black.

I have a speck case (which I bought from at&t, the day after the phone was released). It looks horrendous, but it does it's job. It's been over a year since it's release, and I've seen some good ones over the web (usually just browse random mobile websites). You'll come across something you like.
I've gone to not using a case though, as I really like the slim candybar feel.
I used to use an Otterbox...but the port covers fell off so I tried the Trident Kraken. The case looks really nice but it is SUPER BULKY. I was surprised at first how big the case was. I like the case and the how it looks...but I probably wouldn't buy it again

That's what I got after I ditched the otterbox. The kraken ams case is average at best. Bulky as **** and the top left part of the plastic piece that fits on the screen side decided to to snap and break. Didn't drop it or anything just pulled it out of my pocket weird and the skinny piece of plastic snapped clean in two. I have since taken the outer plastic shell off and have been using the silicone innards as a case. Doesn't even fit right and its entirely too loose to really be useful. I don't have a choice until I get another case.
Thinking about getting either he incipio hard shell or whatever its called or a seidio active

I got the ottorbox commuter (way cheaper on amazon then retail)
Got it after my screen shattered after dropping it 4 feet in a tpu case.
Absolutely love it. Not too bulky and great protection (check YouTube videos)
(The only time I wouldn't recommend it is if y need to take it out of the case frequently cuz its a pita)

I had this a while ago:
http://www.incipio.com/cases/smartp...feather-shine-ultralight-hard-shell-case.html
Was really nice while it lasted, unfortunately the corners started cracking. Really damn sexy case though, everyone who saw it was like "Whats that??!?"
Overall though, I can't recommend it since it cracked. I've been running caseless for a while now. Its nice.
