Thought I would share this.
When I was looking for a way to change the S-View clock, all information was either for other devices or simply didn't work, see below for a short 'How To'.

To change your S-View cover clock font, it is as simple as choosing your font, renaming it to 'SamsungSans-Num45.ttf' then pushing it to system\fonts. (not quite this simple but this is the guts of it)
One thing before you race off to do it. You have limited space to deal with, so you can't go too crazy (unless you change the dimensions in an XML I cant remember the location of). You can still change the dimensions in the XML if you want a clock that is larger than stock, but then you would need to move everything so there is no overlap.
To get mine perfect I had to modify the font file, changing the metrics, scale and position as well as character spacing. All fonts are different so there is a bit of trial and error to get it just right.
After making a few more, I found for the best results you need to add the "highdef" glyph from the stock font. After you have added and named it correctly you need to move the place markers to a position that varies for each font. For the bottom marker, move it to just below the baseline (very bottom of the font), for the top marker move it to the same distance above the Winascent as between x-height and capheight (this varies).
To save a little space you can delete all characters except: notdef, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0, colon and highdef.
Also, make sure your font is unicode, if it is symbol it won't work. Any good font creator/editor should allow you to convert between the formats.
That's it, now you can mix it up if you want and add things like I did with the Mario font (colon).
Installation:
1. Use a custom recovery and simply install the Zip
or
2. Extract the font, push it to system\fonts and set permissions -rw-r--r-- then hot-reboot or reboot.
Uninstall (revert to stock):
Just flash the Stock font zip from here.
If you make any fonts post them here so we can all share.
Enjoy.

PS: This is not the lock-screen clock font this is only for the S-View clock. The lock-screen clock is a set of .png's in an apk (Keyguard if I remember correctly) that you can edit.

Hi,
I couldn't tell you as the S-View for the Note 3 and the S4 are vastly different. Hence I was a little surprised to hear this mod works on the S4. I imagine you probably can't apply a wallpaper, if you could it would probably be in this forum. I haven't used the S4 let alone with S-View cover, but I imagine you could change the colour of the background somewhere in settings. Although if you wanted to have a look yourself, look into framework-res.apk as this is one of the places the pattern background for the Note is.
If I'm wrong about the wallpaper maybe someone will chime in.

The lock screen clock is a set of images in system\app\KeyguardSPlannerWidget.apk I had a play with them when looking for the S-View font,but I don't use the lock-screen so I didn't continue making them.
If there were enough requests and I had time, I would consider making them. But by looking at the thanks count in the OP this tells me that not too many people care for the mod. Making these things is time consuming and if the appreciation isn't there I couldn't be bothered, unless I'm making them for myself of course.
But by all means have a look yourself, if you have image editing experience it's pretty easy.

Update 13.4.2010, 15.07: fixed an error with userpic - please re-download cab!
Installation:
a) grab the cab attached below.
b) remove all other lockscreen mods than install my cab.
c) make your own picture with Photoshop or similar with the exact size of 119 x 119 pixel and save it as user.png
d) copy your "user.png" into the "lockscreen" folder in your windows directory on your device.
e) softreset

all versions now update with the new notification icons - see first post

However when using a bright wallpaper, you can clearly see that the clock is cut off at the bottom.. hope you understand what I mean! Just try it out.
Also I wonder in this Link http://www.mobilitynews.net/?p=11018 , is all notification icons skinned in that version to?

Of course, here is the result:
As you can see, there are only a slight cut off on the "0" on the clock now. However as I have marked, there are some cut offs at the calendar also.

Well have you read the "HOW TO" file?
That should explain on how to do it.
I don't know any other way to do it to be honest with you.
You could ask around what other programs let you edit PSD files so you can make your own icons.
Yes I did but that doesn't really tell me anything. I "found" a copy of Photoshop so after it's done downloading, I will give it a shot. Basically all I want to know how to do is change the colors and make a new one should I feel like it.

LOL well i tried making it as easy as possible.
You only need the absolute basic photoshop skills to edit these.
Easy to pick up when you read through tutorials.
I've been doing it since i was 13, now 17.
If you still struggle just let me know, i'll help as much as I can.

Yeh they look small on any phone, it's just how android resizes the icons.
But I think they look fine on my HTC Desire.
I've tried to make the text accommodate as much of the icon background as possible.

I've changed the PSD size to 72x72 now
I posted this in the other section. I used an icon pack from the market, changed the package name, icon, app name and background color and added his icons.
Too keep it up to date its simple, just open the zip, and insert ur new icons inside the "assets\icons" folder and just resign the apk.

I would say no, just use CWM, TWRP or any custom recovery variant. Or extract the font file and push it to system\fonts with your favourite root explorer set permissions rw-r-r then reboot and enjoy.

great find! i was using the xposed module PerAppFonts to force the font i wanted on s-view but that somehow messes with the font on the lockscreen. using your method fixed it!

Here is a Themed mix of the s5 and note 3 Accuweather I themed thanks to bri315317 its got developer options and its got all the bells and whistles. can be a 4x2 or a 5x2 it will change with your screen size automatically... [emoji3] if you like my work please hit that thanks Button..

Download the accuweather and the daemon push them to system/app and set permissions and restart ..but before you do soo place (.bak) on your current accuweather or make a copy and delete them from the system/app I hope you guys enjoy my work I do accept donations but do not expect Them...

I tried messing with Accuweather one night.. tried making the widget numbers back into pngs like they used to be and then that didn't work out too well so I tried changing the text color like you did and I edited every single xml hex and none of them changed the widget text color! I assume it's a smali edit?

Yes it is temperamental lol the only thing that is in smali is the animation clouds the rest are xml

Where in the values somewhere? Or layouts? I thought I tried every hex!! Lol... Question tho.. I been trying to insert diff. Font ttf. Into the asset folder but every single font I choose cuts off part of the digit when the hr is double digits ie. 10,11... do I need to edit like say the dimension folder or something to stop that from happening?

Ya I'm familiar with the thread... I posted a how to on changing the dialer BG about a week and half ago but I didn't see anything there about replacing the ttf in there.... the digits used to be pngs but ever since 4.4 updates they are now xml and it calls for a specific ttf in the assets folder... When they were pngs it was cool cause I'd just use whatever font I wanted and what ever color but they for some reason changed it

If you grab my apk and decompile it you can dig through it and mod it or at least see where I made the changes

Looks great, I gotta quick question tho. It says s5 widget but the link says 2013.apk. 2013 is note 3 and 2014 is s5. So is this S5 widget or N3 widget? Sorry bro im just wondering....thanks

Well I got if of the n3 Dynamic kat rom and themed the hell out of it I believe the bri the dev of Dynamic Kat had said it was the s5 but I could be wrong he my have just added the s5 features to it all I know is its got everything the s5 accuweather has plus a sweet theme I believe he added developer options [emoji106]

Tmobile N3, Tweaked Rom, stock kernel...im using an S5 accu widget now along with S5 launcher and a bunch of S5 apps. Tweaked also comes with a choise of S5 or N3 ui and System. So im all S5ed out right now lol....hopefully ill be N4ed out pretty soon?

Lol I got att n3 with Dynamic kat 6.0 running bobcat theme with my accuweather obviously lol ss recovery note 4 s voice
I decided to do something useful,a custom rom instead always posting useless posts.I made an logo for it using Photoscape as im newbie at editing images.Im thinking to put the circle which contain text "AR" in top of text "Asterion ROM".
I need suggestions,what you would like to be changed to make it better.

I would make the circle with the AR smaller and center it under the Asterion Rom, then make the two boxes the same size, giving more balance to the over all logo. just my thoughts

You should try a blacked out or black and white style for onscreen wallpaper.

Nice suggestion too.I will choose the wallpaper which recommended me rol525 for onscreen and i will make an wallpaper considering your suggestion too,so people choose which they like.
I'd personally ditch the Papyrus typeface and go with a more adequate sans-serif such as Futura or Gotham in a heavier weight. You went for a minimal approach towards the logo, which is very good, but I think you could play a bit with the letters, making it stand out and more appealing to the user. Baron is a nice, rather unique typeface which could possibly fuel your creativity. I must add, though, that I've never used Photoscape so I don't know to what extent the software is limiting the design.
I do a bit of graphic design work now and then and I'd be happy to give you a hand if you need it.

Photoscape doesnt have many options.I have GIMP 2.8 too,but im noob with it.It takes time to learn.I need your help
EDIT: i just searched Baron typeface and im surprised. I only used the fonts built in Photoscape,i didnt think to search others.I checked more fonts of Photoscape and found some nice: Berlin Sans FB, Berlin Sans FB Demi, Bauhaus 93, Aharoni or Algerian.
First time i used Ravie / Rovie font with Old English Text MC font: http://i.imgur.com/rmbjD1b.jpg
@Force the logo is looking better yes, all I would do is close the space between the circle and the Asterion Rom text

Hmm..What you suggest me? My rom will have many themes,but default one will be white-blue theme.To choose format with "A" blue and white circle on orange background or to choose the format with "A" orange and blue circle on white background as my rom will have many themes?
