Hi, Ive recently factory reset my phone and now cannot get the speakerphone to automatically come on when I use the autoanswer app. Ive got an S3 4G phone (GT-i9305T) with Version 4.1.2. Ive gone into the app setting and have ensured the FORCE SPEAKERPHONE option is checked. Can anyone assist? cheers John

guys,
How do you set the phone to come up in speaker phone mode from startup? Any regestry settings or app for this?
I found this one on forum but I can't get to work on the MDAIII.

First time posting, long time peruser of the forums.
I've been able to sometimes duplicate the following issue on my wife's S4G and mine:
When holding down search button to perform a voice search, regardless if I cancel or perform the voice search, I'm unable to control the ringer volume using the volume rocker. The rocker defaults to the media volume and does not revert back to control the ringer volume. This also shuts down all audio on the phone so I'm unable to hear music or my alarm.
Doing restart (quick or full) restores the ringer but sooner or later a voice search kills the audio (I've been able to do this 3x in a row as of this morning). I've also found that changing the "Scene" restores the ringer and audio (sometimes).
I'm curious if anyone else can duplicate this issue. HTC said to do a factory reset (of course) or to return it to T-Mo. If anyone has a fix please let me know.
there are a few things that'll do this. some programs, voice search, etc. I've found the easiest way to get sound back is to just make a phone call. I just call my voicemail.
there are several threads about this
After getting some call on my home phone from people trying to reach me, i realized that the ringtone on my LG Fathom is not working. After going into setting and trying to set the ringtone I also realized that i couldn't even test the ringtone. When i press the play button i hear nothing. even when i select the ringtone without testing it and press ok the screen just flicker a little and resets itself to the defualt ringtone. I saw some forums about similar issues but its not for this particular phone and some are not even resolved. can someone PLEASE HELP?
Hello,
Handset: Samsung S8+
Purchase Date: May 29, 2017
Problem: Sometimes when I am on a normal phone call (Outgoing or Incoming), speakers turns on it's own. If i look at phone, the speaker icon is not "GREEN" (which means it wasn't pressed). I have to press the speaker icon once and nothing happens because at that time the phone starts loud speaker (Which is already turned on) and then i press it again to turn it off and everything is back to normal.
During a single call this can happen multiple times.
I am not sure what's wrong. I installed a Call recorder app previously, but then uninstalled it (Thinking it might be creating that problem), but the problem still persists.
Has anybody faced this issue or anyone can hint me what to do ?
Same issue with my Galaxy s8 (sprint). Am googling and seeing multiple people have similar, will let you know if I encounter solution.

Answer
You just need to wipe the data cache partition. You do this by turning your phone off. Then do a hard boot by pressing and holding down the Bixby button, volume up, and power all at the same time. Continue holding until blue screen comes up. Then you will see a list of commands. Use volume down to navigate to "wipe data cache partition". Use the power button to select "wipe data cache partition". When it completes, use the power button to choose "reboot". This will fix the issue.
Clearing cash definitely helped me on Samsung Galaxy S8 with the same issue. Thanks.

Quite a nuisance when you're riding a motorbike and it goes to your phone in the pocket or bag.

I'm having trouble with my speakerphone. It works fine if I turn it on touching the screen while calling but that's not the problem. The problem is doing it without touching the phone. Tried doing it in different ways and always failed:
1. Tasker can't control my speakerphone. Tried automating a call so that was always on speakerphone ON, Didnt work.
I know it's something wrong with the phone since all other Tasker automated profiles are working fine.
2. Another symptom: Wear speaker (which is an app for Android Wear that does exactly that - turning speaker ON automatically when answering a call) also doesn't work.
3. And another thing: Voice answering also doesn't work. Call rings, but neither "answer call" nor "reject call" voice command do a thing. At one time that DID work, but ONLY when phone wasn't in silent mode - when the call ringing was silent or on vibrate it would not work. So one day I let it ring on silent and enter quick toggles (while silently "ringing") and turned on sound hoping it would than accept voice commands( answer or reject), but I did exactly the opposite. Since than it doesn't work AT ALL (silent, vibrate or not).
Edit: In safe mode "accept call" works, but again, only when not in silent mode
Non rooted Huawei Mate 9. Emui 5.0. Anroid 7.0
Hope I made myself clear. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks
Trie Tasker too, my phone is rooted. Tasker works but not with speakerphone.
And I just noticed I cant boot into safemode. Holding volume down while booting did nothing. Tried 5 or 6 times.
Edit: I did manage to enter safemode. The trick is to wait untill the blue screen animation to press volume down, not sooner
Nobody can help me? I would be extremely happy if somebody could just confirm that Tasker Action: Speakerphone ON works or doesn't work on their Huawei Mate 9.
Please!!! Anybody?!? ;(
I confirmed, it does NOT work!

That is extremely disappointing. Is that something Huawei is aware of? Do they intend to fix this. It's incredibly stupid to have to touch the phone to enable speakerphone. If I have to touch it than I may as well bring it to my ear, I dont get it. I can imagine countless scenarios where for me, this is a must have feature. All the other phones I had in the past were able to work that way, I may have to change phones if I dont find a workaround of some kind
I really have no idea. In my wonderful world this had to be a feature since the beginning of calling phones smart. Cant imagine why this isnt state of the art.
Everything working fine for me.
Did you try to set up this in settings?
The settings option only disables speakerphone when putting phone to the head. What we are looking for is the automatic activation of the speaker.
Yes, automatic activation of speaker when you answer the call with "answer the call" , voice comand
