you should be able to download 6.xx from clockworkmod.com, just look for your phone and it should be 6.xx since its newer, clockworkmod is down right now though so i would wait a bit.
Maybe you should try twrp too.

Here you go: ClockworkMod Touch Recovery 6.0.3.2 for Samsung Galaxy S3 *GSM* ONLY
Read through the thread, so that you may find latest versions. Or go to CWM website, as stated before to download the official one's.
I'm having problem in flashing a recovery and flashing a kitkat rom. Can some one share a guide to do that for the Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100G variant.. If possible, for the Bam2.0

whats the problem? did you do a md5sum check on the file to make sure its not corrupt? are you sure its for your variant only?
I checked and it's not corrupted. It is also for the i9100g variant only. But when i flash the rom, it always fails. When i flash,it appears 'error'.

So you already have your i9100G rooted with custom recovery?
What recovery are you using to attempt the 4.4 rom ?
You should always provide a bit more information when asking for help.
Phone model/version? Custom recovery name/version? etc.
Also what precise 4.4 rom + link are you trying to install?
does it just say error? or like Error 7, give us the entire log when you try to flash it.
Edit: now that I think of it, are you on the latest CWM? also what version of android are you coming from? if its gingerbread I don't think CWM will let you flash it because it knows it will brick your phone since your on gingerbread boot loaders. might have to flash a jelly bean rom first.
Phone model: Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100G
Custom recovery: CWM recovery 2.6.3.2
I'm coming from the android version of 4.1.2
I'm trying to install the Bam 2.0 rom.
When i flash , it says:
"Error 7
Installation aborted"

I just wondered if you can downgrade from lolipop 5.1 to 5.0.1 or 5.0?
Yep. If you download the factory image from google you can downgrade to any version. You have to know how to flash factory files. I am sure there is a tutorial around here somewhere. There are some instructions on google's factory image page as well.

What if you have a custom rom 5.1.1 and then you want to roll back to another custom rom 5.0.1, both GPE Jflte???

You do realize you're in the Nexus 5 subforum, do you?
Sammy's take might be different, but bootloaders usually are backwards-compatible, and in that case installing an older custom ROM poses no problem.

I've read through a majority of this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/orig-development/recovery-twrp-touch-recovery-2-8-2-0-t2966129
and I have a question before i go doing something stupid. I just got the G3 and have it rooted. My details are:
Android: 5.0.1
Kernel: 3.4.0
Build Number: LRX21Y
Software Version: D85020f
Stock Recovery
So can i use Flashify to flash TWRP from the thread and be done with it? Or has the game changed with lollipop and this can not be done this way?
Thanks.
No o thought you can twrp by flashfy but its risky
