Hi,
I am Android newcomer.
With WinMobile could be set somewhere in the Regestry the duration of the vibration of the haptic feedback (eg 20 ms). Where and how can I set for Android. For example. It is at "SwiftKey" possible, of course, only for the program, I would like to keep it for the whole Androidfeedback, I find the vibration that is too long! ...
Greetings
Johannes
PS. Sorry for my poor english
I second this and would even pay for it via paypal or market
I'm researching this exact issue for someone over on Android forums. Has anyone learned if it is possible to change the vibration specs in Android?
For root user, There is a menu in cyanogen menu that allows you to tune the time and pattern you want.

This seems to have been removed in CM9 and I miss the feature.
I really would love to look at this more and I've tried to search the source for the CM7 settings app but I can't find where this setting is implemented. I would love to create a mod for this since it seems CM9 are not implementing a lot of old features.
If someone knows where I could look further to find out how this is achieved I would love a pointer
There is a Play Store app named Vibrate Smart that may have what you seek.

Thanks for the tip but I'm afraid it doesn't seem to allow me to manually set "ms duration" which is the feature I'm looking for... So still looking for either the correct source for this in CM7 to base it on or any other input that might lead further
After getting a bit angry about Motorola's decision to not to enable and allow people to access the multiuser mode, I've decided to customize the framework and touch some more things. Don't hesitate to suggest any other modifications that you'd like me to do.
WARNING: This is ONLY for stock ROM.
Features:
- Decreased the minimum brightness from 5 to 1.
- Decreased the dimming brightness from 10 to 5.
- Enabled multiuser support.
- Set multiuser limit from 1 to 4.
- Allowed all rotations.
- Disabled the annoying "turn on screen if unplugged from charger".
How to install?
- Download from attached files.
- Transfer to device.
- Flash in recovery.

Hihihihi, it isn't framework-related. This is just a trigger based behavior placed in the sysfs.
Just take a look to this app: Moto LED for Moto X & E [Root] (it works with our devices too).
oho..ok i know theres an app but i was wondering why they have built a led light and has not given any options or made it work.. ok..
Any chance for moto actions? This is by far the biggest drawback I've found on this device

I would be able to mod it but what more do you want? I found it completely perfect.
Just tell me what is it lacking or what should I add .

Quick question,
Are these features already available on stock Lineage OS for G4 Play (which squid is developing)?
If no, it would be very great if Lineage OS has these features. Maybe OP can contribute(patch?) to Lineage OS?

Sure, please flash Lineage and upload framework.apk from /system/framework to let me modify it.
Now that Google has put out the color mode changes, we need a quick settings toggle for it.
A saturation scale would be great too.
I'd like to be able to set something up like boosted but slightly warmer.

Use a custom kernel (i.e. Snokes) that allows for this control. Then you can use a kernel management app to fine tune the display. I use EX Kernel Manager
Shouldn't need a custom ROM for something so simple.

^ This, plus it takes less than 5 minutes. Flash Kernel, Magisk root, install app, change settings. If you absolutely desire such a feature baked into the stock ROM then I recommend purchasing a Samsung device, or some other OEM device that has said feature. Complaining about it here and shooting down methods to achieve exactly what you want will not make Google provide this feature to the Pixel devices.

It already is included in the rom. Under display. Natural, enhanced, and saturated. I believe what he is asking about is making it a quick setting. Which you likely already can do with app that adds customizable shortcuts to available tiles in quick settings.

I was referring to his note about a saturation scale, but on the other point yes you are correct

Hi! So there are apps that have their own built in sounds for notifications. However, on my OnePlus 6 (OOS 9.0 Stable) I can hear those sounds only if the app is in the foreground. If the app is in background it plays the global default notification sound.
I'd like to know if there's anything I can do to have those apps play their unique sounds? I am rooted. Thanks!

Hello everyone,
Once again, I'm presenting to you an all-new Always On Display app for all android devices running Android 6.0 and up. This app is the remake of my old App which was only for Samsung. Now it works on any android device. If you don't know what actually Always On Display is, It is a feature that shows important information such as Time, Date, Battery, Notifications, etc on your screen when it is not being used. This feature works best with devices that have an AMOLED screen, as the pixel goes off so the power consumption is very less.
This app has many improvements from its older version such as more battery efficiency, better performance, new features, and many more.
Key features are:
Android 6.0+ Supported
Screen oritentation option
Paged clock with new watchfaces
Edge clock with music controls
Rearrangable Widgets (Music controls, Weather, Next Alarm, Today's schedule)
Multiple Display modes such as wave to show and Lift to show etc
Screen timeout to save battery
Whole new color palette with custom color support and gradient support
Many new Wallpapers
New Font option added.
Battery optimization tweaks
Multistyle colored notifications with unread count.
Enhanced Burn-in protection, Movement of clock and home key both
Memo text
and much more

Have you set a lockscreen in settings?
It can be a bug. I'm not sure. But first confirm you have already set a lockscreen and instant lock with power button is on.
A beta update with a fingerprint option is available on the play store. Install it and let me know whether it is working properly or not.

This issue has been resolved in the latest beta version 1.3.7. Update the app from the play store.
Dear dev, this is the best AOD app i've tried (and i have tried maaaaany app).. I'll test for battery drain (Samsung a20e), but for now, well done!
A whole new look with new clock faces is coming soon...
Great APP, can you add more timeout options ? the best will be custom timeout
I've been trying out a few different aod apps, but for whatever reason this one won't work at all. I'm using One Plus nord n10 5g phone, I disabled battery optimization, have everything set up, but when I turn off the screen there is nothing . All black. Any thoughts? Thanks.
