well, How do I set up them ? I mean I am following sakindia123's guide to compile kernel , There's no such thing except adding path to makefile.
I am attaching makefile. http://www.mediafire.com/download/3j0vwox6rxbt8u5/Makefile
I've saved toolchain in home/gamersab/android/toolchains.

Hi. Sorry but my Framework Base was as it as from CarbonDev repository... nothing changed. "Only" thing that @$droyd$ teach me was a correction to compile Carbon for ville without Linaro toolchain.
Now I am in trouble to retrieve carbon ville repos, and eventually port to 4.3.
I'm a beginner and a lot to learn about it...

Judging by your Github Yes.. You will have to fork CM... Be carefull as a lot of things you add in settings have to have a frameworks counter part or 2 of 2 ... Youll know when you compile .. It will error.
hi verry sorry for noob question
how to download kernel for slimkat from github
https://github.com/SlimRoms/kernel_lge_hammerhead
i can find only text coding inside kernel
You have to compile it. There are guides out there.
Otherwise, see if the kernel is posted in the dev section.
lol, you dont download kernels from github, its only for code.

You can try using this CM12(.1)/AOSP port; it should work on Cyanogen OS, hopefully.
Do not install it.

That is device-specific for Sony phone only! Do not install it.

VS'17 has everything for ARM and ARM64, ports are relatively easy. Nice for a little startup project though, you have to start small first.

How were you able to build for RT in VS2017? I thought VS2012 was the only one that supported building RT desktop apps

VNNGYN said:
If I am right all versions of VS that are newer than VS2012 can be used to build Windows RT desktop apps. VS2012 and VS2013 were recommended because they had Redistributable packages for ARM shipped with them.

So that means you can set up VS2017 like VS2012 in the guide? Because I don't have the Microsoft.Cpp.ARM.Common.props file

You do not need anything special. Just make a new target ARM or ARM64 and add to the project file <WindowsSDKDesktopARM64Support>true</WindowsSDKDesktopARM64Support> and <WindowsSDKDesktopARMSupport>true</WindowsSDKDesktopARMSupport> ...voila.
