T-Mobile in Virginia & Maryland, Google Maps, Gmail, Viber, all of these will not function at all on tmobile data. 2g, 3g, lte. Nothing works. But when I connect to wifi they function normal I starting receiving all my messages emails etc. I uninstalled and reverted the apps back to stock and uninstalled reinstalled viber. Still nothing on data with tmobile. I can view my gmail through the browser on the phone but not the app. Google play also does not function on tmobile. Any one else on the east coast have this happening?

I have a Galaxy running stock rom rooted
I have visual voice mail
I am running Juicy and have data and wifi enabled always
when i get a voice mail it does not notify me while WIFI is on
when i turn it off i get a notification instanly.
i also get notifications when on the road and away from WIFI
when i try to do a force refresh with teh WIFI and Data one i get the following message:
data time out
I have tested this several times by calling myself and leaving messages with the WIFI on and Data on and with the WIFI off. Each time I get the same results... no voice mail notification with WIFI enabled.
When i click on Voicemail Icon and then settings and tell it to refresh it runs for like
i have disabled Juicy and still have the same issue with WIFI and Data
phone shows straight WIFI and i leave a test message and all works fine but i get no notification. when i test the voice mail i get the mesage that voice maill will be downloaded when connected to network and when i turn off wifi and let mobile network take over it works fine
with wifi on i can still get text messages no problem
seems the issue is with voice mail only.
testing
after messing with it all day
i still have not found a way to get Voicemail to work when WIFI is on and data does not show on the task bar.
There are times that i have both the wifi and 3g symbol showing and still have the same issue
the VOicemail notificaiton will show sometimes but not as a visual voice mail
i am assuming that visual voice mails requires the data connect to transmit the voicemail
i even ttried logging out of visual voice mail while on WIFI with no luck but on data worked fine.
I'm not receiving facebook notification when i'm using 3G. Why?
On wifi it works fine but on 3G i receive from whatsapp / google play, but not from facebook

Is Google Messenger still having problem with Sprint and WiFi Calling?
It works fine for me except when I'm trying to send an MMS during a phone call. That's the only time I've gotten a delivery error.
I flashed SM-G930U on my T-Mobile phone. Good news is no T-Mobile bloatware. Got WiFi calling, and almost everything works great.... Except I do not get notifications from any of my apps (score mobile, Yahoo fantasy, Gmail, etc.). I do get text message alerts. I went to my settings and nothing is turned off in the notifications section. Is there something I can do?
Hello, Is there a messaging app that actually uses the wifi connection to send/receive text messages? Out where I live, if I try to send messages, it takes a super long time for them to go through. Sometimes they don't go through the first time and I have to walk to the door and try again. However, my wifi connection is full strength, high speed. I have no idea why it won't use the wifi connection to send/receive txts.
I have gone through the whole list of "fixes", and none of them work. It's not in Airplane mode, the app cache has been cleared, the network settings have been reset, the sim card has been removed and reinserted, the app has been removed/reinstalled, tried using different messaging apps (so far used the one that came with it, Cricket Messages or what ever it is, and Google Messages, as well as a few others). Nothing seems to work.
I would like an app that uses the wifi, at least, to send my messages out, and doesn't have ads or in-app purchases. Is there such an app that gets good reviews and isn't some sort of spyware?
I will not use FB messenger, if that's an option. I don't use Instagram, either.
