Now I have a real strange problem. My minidisplayport to hdmi adapter stopped working but it doesn't work only on two of my monitors but works on third.
I use a cheap 10 bucks adapter from ebay but it did the job for half a year, so I don't think it's his fault.
Anyways this is not the first time it happened. Two weeks ago the same happened but after a day of fiddling and connecting it started working again (worth mentioning is that the situation was the same, dell monitor (1980x1200) and benq projector (1080p) weren't working whereas viewsonic monitor (1080p) was working). Then I was playing the amazing spiderman 2 on the dell monitor and then accidentally closed the surface putting it to sleep. When I woke it the second screen wasn't working again.
As far as I know I'm not the only one with this kind of problem.
Maybe someone will know if there is a viable solution.

Got my pro last week and just wanted to share my observations.
Had the Kaiser before (still do as i still haven't sold it)
Loving this device so far with the stock rom, going to try DCS rom later today. I used throttle launcher with the kaiser so getting to use the real touch flo 3d was a treat. Still have a problem with the audio tab, as it seems to crash when ever i load it.
GPS is a downer so far out of the gate as it took 20 min for me to get a fix yesterday and then i kept losing it (using TT7) gonna try gpsgate for now until that problem is solved.
didn't like the fact that it came with a charger where the cable is also used for pc sync (the kaiser came with a complete charger and a separate usb cable) but I still have a couple of other Usb chargers so its all good.
the nice difference has been the camera. you can see the difference in pictures with the attachments. the touch pro may not have the best video camera in the world by far, but for stills it does a damn good job, better than I have seen before on windows mobile.
usb 2.0 has helped as I lost my first micro sd reader, and then my second one has stopped working.
Keyboard is pretty good. hardware keyboard i still keep missing the "a" button and hitting the caps lock. software keyboard is pretty good sometimes the word suggestion can be annoying especially when spelling names.
if it turns out that this device can get 3g in north america, im laughing. if not, I will be selling it as paying $30 for 6GB of edge data, will not be worth it in IMHO.
left to test: video playback with vga encoded vids and tv out (when i actually purchase the cable)

I've seen recently that this tab is still selling in a lot of places, either online or in stores. And the price tag is on average above $300. It's almost 3 years old, which is not very common for an electronic's life cycle. Why?

why is it still selling I cant answer , what I can say is about my TF300T with dock its great for a fifo worker like me.
Battery life is great 12 hour plus still and its over 2 years old, I can plug any 2.5" poratable hard drive or usb memory stick to watch movies etc.
Can surf the net do everything my phone can do bar make phonecalls.
Its only drawback is its a bit laggy with the more intense games.
Mods for the TF300T are fairly mature now due to its age.
I run the last CM11 nightly and it does everything I want, wireless and bluetooth work flawlessly.
I'd get one again if they came out with the nvidia K1 processor

Asus TF300T still a work horse
Ditto ToRR785 above. These tablets are still holding their place as a reliable tablet. Mine are over two years old; Bluetooth, GPS, WIFI all work great. They are easy to mod and take care of. Lots of good info here at xda. Kuddos to all of the developers.

Been a long time since I have been here. Trying to figure out what to buy in order to screen mirror my Note 4 to my TV without using WIFI. I want to use my phone date if at all possible. I am going to list everything I have already tried and see if that will help you guys cross things off the list. I currently have an HDMI to mini usb cable that will provide what I need but has a few issues. #1 the charging port in the side of the adapter does not charge faster than the usage so really useless. I also cannot turn off my phone while hooked to the tv or the picture will go away thus draining the battery. The only luck I have ever had with this is to use the cable and turn brightness all the way down by using Screen Filter app after the content starts and it does Ok but not that great. I have tried Screen Standby but never got it to work. Last week I bought a Chromecast thinking that would work but did not realize Google had recently blocked it from working off your cell phone. You must use WIFI and my home internet sticks pretty bad. I also have an Amazon Firestick that has a screen mirring function but was pretty bad as well. Is there some sort of dongle of some sort that will allow me to do what I have described. I would really like to buy something I can plug into TV, cvhange my input and screen mirror my Note 4 without all the headaches. Thanks for any and all help in advance.
Hey folks. Figured I'd go ahead and get the ball rolling on this. The note9 folks have have a thread for their note9s, so let's have one for the Galaxy s10.
the x3 elite Lapdock works pretty good with the s10, about as well as folks are reporting it works with the note9.
I'm having basically the same issues as those people over there are
Issues:
-Sound issues
---Built in speakers and headphone jack never work (There are some work-arounds, I need to do more reading) so far only the phone's speakers work, and only when I reboot both phone and lapdock (but don't need to do this every time)
-Trackpad buttons, (No Left or Right click, only tapping works. It's not bad, takes some getting used to. The track pad on this thing was trying to rip apple off and failed and it's really sad because I'm sure it could've been great lol)
Everything else works. This may become my new daily driver. Need to figure out if blue tooth speakers/Samsung Buds will work with this setup, because if they will, the other issues will be non issues.
Remember to record what ever steps you take to fix something as clearly as possible, and remember to note exactly what model of s10 and lapdock you have.

Yes it is a Snapdragon s10.
I am returning my dock this morning because spontaneously over night it has decided to stop working at all. I have no idea if this is just the interface between the phone and the lapdock being finicky or if the dock itself has failed. I'm suspecting the latter.
So i'm kind of out of the game for the moment but I'm definitely hoping to encourage more conversation on this.

I just bought a HP lapdock with my s10e and the same thing happened on the first day but i figured out that if I change the setting to screen mirroring when I first connect it then back to dex it will connect properly.

Its a bug. You have to playing some sort of media (music or video) while you plug in your phone. You can stop playback after it launches DeX

So I get it synonymous with video in the background not to run. The reaction to the communication is always a little different. Once I was so far as the mekn Smartphone dex has detected, and no hdmi error message is still no image. Do erit I came only once. 'll use another jabel, just use thunderbolt 3 cable

I got no problem with the HP elite X3 on my snapdragon S10. I also tried the Dell K17A and everything work perfectly,

I have recently switched from samsung note 8 to s22u.
My wired android auto on pioneer DMH-Z5150BT worked like charm with note 8, even my partner's s8+ and s20u.
But when I connect s22u it goes into black screen.
I have tried quality connecting cables but no luck.
Please help me fix the problem.

Holy smokes... Android Auto is driving me crazy nuts on this S22 Ultra. Tried the offical cable from my Note9, and two expensive aftermarket ones and all 3 display a laggy, mess. Trying to use Waze and Android Auto as a whole is unbearable on...

If you leave it on black screen for approx 10-15mins it will get to install, but then it'll be less than 1 fps and unusable. So much so, I've been tethering to my note9 which works brilliantly even after 4 years of service.
I've tried about 6 different cables so far, but none seem to work. im getting a $40 3.1usb c-a cable over the weekend to try that as a final straw.

When the data cable is plugged in it won't start until updated. I followed the instructions it goes to black screen.
Both my phone and stereo system is on warranty, I am unable to identify the issue.

I had to use the factory cable along with an adapter, usb-a to c, to get my phone to work with AA. There are still occasional hiccups, but they are few and far between.
I've seen so many report similar AA issues, I recall the reply from samsung was that the phone was not compatible with the Pioneer device and was suggested that they reach out to Pioneer to update or something of that sort.

Mine worked with a Highlander / JBL factory head unit, but not on my truck with a Pioneer. I don’t think it’s a cable issue since there’s enough bandwidth to play YouTube videos on the pioneer using Pioneer’s goofy web link app using whatever cable.
I had strange issues with AA with my 2019 Honda Pilot. AA with pixel 6 won't work except with the cable that came with older pixel phones. Note 10, Note 20 Ultra as well as S22 Ultra all either disconnect or don't recognize the phone with the same cable. They work fine when a cheap thin cable.
I have no issues with my S22 Ultra connecting to my Hyundai Santa Fe. It had been a while since I connected it since I have built in navigation and was surprised by the update to the interface. Need to play around with it some more, but it is much more functional than before.
S22 is known to have AA issues with several headunit including Pioneer. Blank black screen.

android auto have updated today with version 7.7.121904 which has fixed the black screen issue with my pioneer head unit.
But I am not able to locate google maps or waze.
Is anyone facing the issue?

So, it looks like the AA v7.7 beta fixes the black screen issue on some Pioneer head units, but at the same time, causes the same issue on other Pioneer units where there was no problem with the non-beta. I have a Pioneer AVH-3400NEX in one car and a Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX in another car.
The 3400NEX gives me a black screen with the non-beta version(although you can still hear audio, etc). The beta fixes the issue completely.
The 4660NEX works perfectly with the non-beta (v7.5.62...), but when I install the v7.7 beta, I get black screen on the 4660NEX(but audio works) . . .
Any thoughts on this?
Edit: By the way, AA works perfectly on both head units when connected with my old S10 running non-beta AA.
