Hi guys
I'm a pretty noob on this, but I will make my best on this guide. It's a flashable zip for Kitkat Rooted Rom on Xperia M2 D2305 model.
Things you need:
1. Bootloader unlocked
2. Flashtool by Androxyde
3. An Kitkat FTF file for D2305 (download the 18.3.A.0.31 PT. Sony Indonesia ID on this thread - credits to DavidMKD)
4. The kernel for KK D2305 on this thread (credits to lozohcum)
5. This flashable zip (credits to zxz0O0 for making this guide for the tool)
Follow this steps:
1. Unlock the bootloader obviously (very easy on flashtool, just click BLU)
2. Flash the FTF File via Flashtool (click the lightning and select Flashmode then the FTF file)
3. Flash the kernel via Flashtool (click the lightning and select Fastboot mode then select kernel to flash, click all files and the img kk file)
4. Boot your device on recovery (turn it on and press volume down many times when you see the Sony logo)
5. Select install zip on CWM and flash the zip D2305 Kitkat Root.zip
6. Reebot the device and enjoy.
To fix the mount system, follow this thread. Credits to Naufal Sidik
If you still have the mount system problem, flash the kernel again, reboot the recovery and select reboot system and fix the root.
I hope it works for all. I'm not an expert but you can ask me anything, I'll try to help.

Original thread by @SonyRiFle:

PLEASE TAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR ROM BEFORE PERFORMING THIS MOD.....
Requirement:
1. Rooted Device

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2261606
3. Download the zip attached below.
Note: the original zip from the main thread has Settings.apk that is not working properly in our tabZ. So I deleted it in the zip.
Installation:
1. Add these lines under your build.prop...
ro.service.swiqi3.supported=true
persist.service.swiqi3.enable=1
ro.service.xrfm.supported=true
persist.service.xrfm.mode=1
2. flash via Cwm or twrp using XZDual recovery
NOTE: If Image Enhancement doesn't appear on Settings, just try the fix on the main thread.
you can find Image enhancement settings below Mobile Bravia engine.
ENJOY!!!
Note:
This is not bootanimation, this is the splash screen (the boot logo which is displayed when device is switched ON)
This is for ZTE Nubia M2 Only..
(For other devices, please send me your splash.img so that I can create a tool for you too..)
Requirements:
1. Rooted ZTE Nubia M2 (any ROM)
2. Optional: Terminal Emulator app or Custom Recovery or atleast working fastboot in computer
3. You're proceeding at your own risk.
STEPS to create splash.img:
1. Download & Extract this in computer: ZTE_Nubia_M2_Splash_Maker.zip
2. Make sure you have a picture with resolution 1080x1920px.
Now rename your picture as logo.png or logo.jpg (according to its format) & replace it inside "pics" folder of the extracted folder.
3. Finally, run the 'CREATE_LOGO.bat' to create splash.img and flashable zip file, which you can find inside the "output" folder after completion.
STEPS to flash splash.img:
Optional: To backup your original splash.img:
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/splash of=/sdcard/splash.img
(Not necessary though.. You may get it from the stock firmware itself.)
Now, Choose any one easy method:
a. To flash from recovery:
Transfer the flashable_splash.zip to your device and flash from TWRP or CWM or Philz or any other custom recovery.
b. To flash from Terminal Emulator:
Transfer the splash.img to your device's Internal Storage, Open Terminal Emulator & enter the following to flash it:
Code:
su
dd if=/sdcard/splash.img of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/splash
c. To flash from Fastboot mode:
Code:
fastboot flash splash splash.img
Note:
Incase something goes wrong or device doesn't bootup, flash the stock splash.img from custom recovery or fastboot.
Credits:
1. Based on my original tool for ZTE Nubia Z11 MINI
2. @Skake who provided the stock splash.img of ZTE Nubia M2.
Hit the Thanks :good: button if it worked for you
You're welcome to post the splash images that you created..
