​What is King Kang?​
King Kang is essentially a hybrid ROM - its a mixture of AOKP, CyanogenMod, and ParanoidAndroid, bringing all their customizations to one rock solid and quick ROM. These numerous features combine to create a blend of features not seen anywhere else before. Make the user interface yours with this ROM. Change the DPI the ROM runs at, tweak the interface to your hearts content, while enjoying great battery life and stability. Never before have these features combined to create a ROM as feature-packed as King Kang. Credits for the features goes directly to the teams responsible - AOKP and CM for their respective work, and ParanoidAndroid for their wonderful DPI on-the-fly modifications. How do I install King Kang?
Download the ROM
Reboot into your recovery (TWRP is recommended)
Wipe data if you are coming from a ROM besides King Kang
Flash the King Kang ROM zip
Flash SU zip--> CWM-SuperSU-v0.96.zip
Flash the Google Apps zip
Format your dalvik cache/normal cache
Reboot
Customize your experience to your heart's content!

Latest one for Jellybean (CM10) should work perfectly​Information
Some AOKP features power over the ParanoidAndroid ones. For example, in order to get Tablet UI, you first need to check the "Tablet UI" option in ROM Control, then change it to the desired mode in Paranoid Android, and then reboot.
This ROM began as a creation by DAGr8 for Android 4.0, ICS. It offered a simple AOKP + PA combination.
The ROM is currently being built 100% from source. The "team", a.k.a. people maintaining and adding features from other ROMs are Rohan32 and DAGr8. Without the other teams though, this ROM would be nothing.​Contribute

To enable Tablet UI, you must follow these steps in this exact order!

1. Rom Control > Nav bar settings > enable nav bar
2. Rom Control > Nav bar settings > change nav bar height to 36 or 40 dp (change for portrait and landscape)
3. Rom Control > General UI > force Tablet UI
4. Paranoid Preferences Settings > Workspace > Tablet UI
5. Reoot to recovery > wipe cache & dalvik cache
6. Reboot
7. Profit???
8. Get creative with paranoid settings dpi/layout settings to
fix launcher and Rom Control settins DPI
BUGS:
This is a WIP, i had some issues with wifi and rotation so i used some files from
Hercules aokp base, so you must keep the stock kernel or you will bork rotation
& possibly wifi-- if you absolutely need a custom kernel you will need to flash one made
for the Hercules phone.

No S Memo is not included

Is the fixed gapps the same as the gapps in your port of Paranoid Android ? I don't really feel like waiting again for this to download if I already have the fixed gapps and what is hovering point with s-pen? Does this only work with s-pen or any stylus ?

alright...I download this rom and its an excellent rom. but one question I have is and I know this exist on all cm roms but is there anyway to get back my gallery folder back. Before this I was using moon rom v9 and I took some pictures with my phone camera with moon rom and after I installed this rom and all pictures I took with moon rom is disappeared. anybody know how to get those pictures back. And other thing is if I go back to moon rom I can see those pictures but not with cm based roms...anybody know how to fix it.

Since the app is not included in the slim sources it is not there you can add the app manually by pasting the apk in the system/app folder using root explorer

How do I enable HALO?
Go into settings. Under Illusion System Settings, select interface. You will find Halo Options. Here you can turn on halo, and tweak the way Halo works.
Where is my Data toggle in the notification pane quick settings panel?
As of right now, the only way to toggle data is through the Data Usage menu in settings. A fix is being worked on for this. I believe the problem exists in quite a few ROMS for the One.

CRT off animation can be toggled under Illusion System Settings>Display
Any Bugs?
Not sure if it is mac only, or whether this will occur on PC as well, but if you connect as MTP, mac does not recognize it. ADB and PTP work fine. It is only MTP where this issue occurs.

I had the same problem! It turns off straight after the splash screen, then after a while it automatically boots to splash, then off again and so on.

Sorry, didn't see this until I'd restored my backup! I tried aux kernel and teamseven kernel and neither of those worked either! I tried with and without gapps, just in case it was to do with the slim gapps package! I also did both recovery flash and fastboot too!

So the ROM boots up and is confirmed ....Can you please post some screenshots here

Ok, The latest build boots fine.
Issues include not being recognized over USB (is recognized through ADB, but not through finder on mac)
The KeyLime Pie theme is awesome!!!

This rom came from the Galaxy Nexus so it has Nav bar set on as default. Soon as we figure out how to disable we will let everyone know

It's actually in settings like devilhunter said, specifically you have to disable it in two places. First place to go to is the nav bar option in Rom control and set the height to 0 (off). The second place to go is in Hybid settings, scroll down to to bottom where you see the nav bar visibility and and reduce the slider to the left, which will turn it off completely!:good:
Edit: LOL, wrong rom, I thought this was Dirty Unicorns 4.3.1, but it's practically the same way to disable it anyway.

Hmm, I never tested data on any of these roms since I don't use data plans, but if that's so then tell me is there any of the new or even old 4.2.2 roms we have working data for? Let me know and if there's any, then we can use its files to fix SuperNOVA for you

Was working fine on the Mirage rom..and on older roms like aokp, pac..this one ported from galaxy nexus right??..my guess is this mite b a problem common to those ported from galaxy nexus..mirage was from s2..just guessing

Correct, but despite that in terms of any port's telephony and data connection working with our A2, they simply need the same certain files to do it. So here's what I want you to do; make a copy of the SuperNova zip, then open it on your PC with any compression software (e.g. 7zip), then open the Mirage rom zip (or any of the other working ones) as well. You will be copying these files from your working data rom to your cloned SuperNOVA, so copy and replace the following:

system/etc/apns-conf.xml
system/lib/libreference-ril.so
system/lib/libril.so
system/lib/libu300-parser.so
system/lib/libu300-ril.so
If you still don't get data working with those files, then replace these additional lib files:
system/lib/modules/caif_hsi.ko
system/lib/modules/caif_serial.ko
After all of that, simply flash that copy after wiping and that *should* do it. If you still don't have data or even losing your baseband, then I guess you'll have to use another rom with your data plan

When i try and select and apply a theme via the main settings menu it force closes but when I apply a theme from the quick settings tile it works perfect. I'll get you a log today some time.

Having camera fcs as well on Google camera. I reflashed vendor.img and wiped data on camera, even tried using another kernel and no go. Could it be that I used Open gapps? I usually use banks.. Downloading Banks apps now. Logs coming now

I reflashed ROM and gapps and now I have no fc on applying themes main settings. Weird.

I flashed rom and gapps and didn't wipe anything and themes would work via main settings. Weird but that was how it happened.

so i can't change anything on candysix w/o candysix developers
i will try to port that from other roms and pull request to candysix devs
but i don't know it works
