It's actually in settings like devilhunter said, specifically you have to disable it in two places. First place to go to is the nav bar option in Rom control and set the height to 0 (off). The second place to go is in Hybid settings, scroll down to to bottom where you see the nav bar visibility and and reduce the slider to the left, which will turn it off completely!:good:
Edit: LOL, wrong rom, I thought this was Dirty Unicorns 4.3.1, but it's practically the same way to disable it anyway.

Hmm, I never tested data on any of these roms since I don't use data plans, but if that's so then tell me is there any of the new or even old 4.2.2 roms we have working data for? Let me know and if there's any, then we can use its files to fix SuperNOVA for you

Correct, but despite that in terms of any port's telephony and data connection working with our A2, they simply need the same certain files to do it. So here's what I want you to do; make a copy of the SuperNova zip, then open it on your PC with any compression software (e.g. 7zip), then open the Mirage rom zip (or any of the other working ones) as well. You will be copying these files from your working data rom to your cloned SuperNOVA, so copy and replace the following:
Code:
system/bin/rild
system/etc/apns-conf.xml
system/lib/libreference-ril.so
system/lib/libril.so
system/lib/libu300-parser.so
system/lib/libu300-ril.so
If you still don't get data working with those files, then replace these additional lib files:
system/lib/modules/caif_hsi.ko
system/lib/modules/caif_serial.ko
After all of that, simply flash that copy after wiping and that *should* do it. If you still don't have data or even losing your baseband, then I guess you'll have to use another rom with your data plan

What is King Kang?
King Kang is essentially a hybrid ROM - its a mixture of AOKP, CyanogenMod, and ParanoidAndroid, bringing all their customizations to one rock solid and quick ROM. These numerous features combine to create a blend of features not seen anywhere else before. Make the user interface yours with this ROM. Change the DPI the ROM runs at, tweak the interface to your hearts content, while enjoying great battery life and stability. Never before have these features combined to create a ROM as feature-packed as King Kang. Credits for the features goes directly to the teams responsible - AOKP and CM for their respective work, and ParanoidAndroid for their wonderful DPI on-the-fly modifications. Without these teams, this ROM would not be possible. What is the future going to be like for King Kang?
Currently, it is heavily rooted in AOKP as its main base. As the ROM progresses, it will grow and extend its functionality. Want to see a feature from a different ROM that isn't here, or have an idea for a new feature that isn't currently in any other ROM out there? Fill out the feature request form located here so that we can bring it to you! http://kan.gd/1t88What are the current features of King Kang?
All of AOKP's features
ParanoidAndroid per-app DPI changer
Apollo music player from Cyanogenmod
CMs Backuptool when flashing
More is coming soon! Feature request here: http://kan.gd/1t88
How do I install King Kang?
Download the ROM
Reboot into your recovery (TWRP is recommended)
Wipe data if you are coming from a ROM besides King Kang
Flash the King Kang ROM zip
Flash SU zip--> CWM-SuperSU-v0.96.zip
Flash the Google Apps zip
Format your dalvik cache/normal cache
Reboot
Customize your experience to your heart's content!
Download
Get King Kang Jelly HERE
Google Apps: http://goo.im/gapps
Latest one for Jellybean (CM10) should work perfectlyInformation
Some AOKP features power over the ParanoidAndroid ones. For example, in order to get Tablet UI, you first need to check the "Tablet UI" option in ROM Control, then change it to the desired mode in Paranoid Android, and then reboot.
This ROM began as a creation by DAGr8 for Android 4.0, ICS. It offered a simple AOKP + PA combination.
The ROM is currently being built 100% from source. The "team", a.k.a. people maintaining and adding features from other ROMs are Rohan32 and DAGr8. Without the other teams though, this ROM would be nothing.Contribute

To enable Tablet UI, you must follow these steps in this exact order!
Code:
1. Rom Control > Nav bar settings > enable nav bar
2. Rom Control > Nav bar settings > change nav bar height to 36 or 40 dp (change for portrait and landscape)
3. Rom Control > General UI > force Tablet UI
4. Paranoid Preferences Settings > Workspace > Tablet UI
5. Reoot to recovery > wipe cache & dalvik cache

BUGS:
This is a WIP, i had some issues with wifi and rotation so i used some files from

Few questions about this ROM....
Is this purely Portrait mode with no config for Tablet UI? I am used to Hybrid mode like PA ROM.
If I were to put it to Tablet UI (given it exists) my status bar etc are they all gonna be huge text, is this configurable?
With Franco kernel is there still going to be corruption when viewing Flash video's? latest r23 still has the corruption.
Nice to see you are making a grouper edition of your ROM. :good:
Does it matter if I download from Germany, Norway or USA? I'm in the US.

That's cool, but is it the ugly big fonts? Better yet, does it resemble PA in terms of font sizes? Is there font size control for clock etc? Sounds to me like this is just pure Galaxy Nexus to N7.
If you go into System settings are the config option labels cut off? For example, does Developer Options appear cut off?
When you have many notifications does it start messing up the notification and nav bar area?
A screenshot with this tablet UI would help if you can do it main desktop and settings display.
Call me picky, but Tablet UI (in stock form is ugly as sin)
¡Great, I didn't know this was coming! And just last night my N7 was feeling neglected. Thank you MiN and CO!

PER-APP-DPI/LAYOUT. This is not tablet mode! Hybrid engine allows you to target apps individually. You get to pick their actual layouts which can tranform content drastically. Keep in mind, this has nothing to do with build.prop hacks or DPI changes. We list all layouts an app brings, you choose one, its as easy as that. It does not matter if your device runs itself in Phone-, Phablet or Tablet-UI, your apps will always look as you like. On top of that you can scale apps, to fit your screen, that way you can even bring full fledged tablet apps and make them run perfectly. Nothing will break, nothing will shrink, your market will be fine. Additionally we have rewritten many parts of the android framework and fixed countless of AOSP bugs to make way for these modifications - our "tablet mode" runs better on a phone than on a real tablet, that is guaranteed.
*Screenshot 1: SystemUI.apk in TabletUI/230DPI, Launcher PhoneUI/320DPI, System running in 320DPI
*Screenshot 2: SystemUI.apk in PhabletUI/220DPI, Launcher PhoneUI/320DPI, System running in 320DPI

Find any combination you like, scale and project apps, widgets and system components! Modes and DPI will differ for the Epic.
PER-APP-COLOR, Paranoidandroids newest invention. Define apps in your regular hybrid panel. See your phone fade into the color definition of your current app, press home or go elsewhere and it fades back. Create as many combinations you like, you can even dabble with opacity. This feature is made possible by our hybrid engine, which is unique to this rom.

If you have an issue and you want to call our attention, here's what you do:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread and Cyanogenmods aswell (its our base) for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.

Epic Specific Changes:
[2.54] Bug fixes to aroma scripting. Added 4.2 market and 4.2 modded desk clock.
[2.53] Converted to aroma installer. Transparent notifications, 4.2 cam and 4.2 keyboard available in installer.
Aroma installer is an installer GUI
It allows you to select what you want to install, and puts all additions into one file. (no need for 15 zips, just 1)
Decided to leave Gapps out for now and fixed it to where the 4.2 items don't need it.
Install your own gapps as desired. I may pick out certain apps to put into the installer, but the total size was over 120 megs more. Way too much.
Keyboard installs as an additional keyboard. Tried to do it as a replacement but had a lot of force closes. If you choose it on install, it should be selected as default.
If it is not default or you want to change between keyboards, go to settings-> lang& input -> default keyboard.
Android Keyboard (AOSP) - Stock keyboard with no swype
Android Keyboard - 4.2 Keybaord with swype
No theme created for now, as something in paranoid is messing with transparency. Going to take my time with this one. Plenty of themes out there if you need one.
Camera now removes old camera and gallery. You can restore this through the aroma installer
To switch between cameras, just rerun the installer and select only the camera you want.
transarency and stock notifications are available. choose wisely. rerun and select the one you want to change it out.
[2.51] Replaced the bootani with the one from 1.99. Boot time is crazy good now. This will be a change in future releases as well.
Issues:
[2.23-2.50] Play Store FC's on certain DPI --- Workaround by Nashdogg (make sure DPI is at phone and 240, clear data from the app and reboot). If this fails install a hacked market.
[2.23+] Issues with NavBar buttons on the ends not working. Range issue with DPI?
[2.23-2.50] The first boot is too damn long!
Features Reqs:
NavBar features from AOKP
Notification Drawer Options from AOKP
Toggles Enabled by Default
Awesome will definitely try it

I think the per app colors are only affecting the navbar. Still trying to find out if that is intended or a bug.
Getting Unfortunately, Settings has stopped when adding or restoring widgets (from Nova-saved backup) on Nova and Apex. This was happening with 2.23, also.
My setup (flashed in this order):
Rom: pa 2.50
gapps: gapps-jb-20121011
Colonel: nexusmodempatch_PA-2.23_AIO(nitest kernel)
radio: ns4g-radio-KL2
No data (just apps) restored from TB.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

So it is both launchers? And even if you do a fresh install from the store and do not restore from settings?
I'm installing Apex now. My device is not compatable with nova free, probably because I'm in phablet.
Also what widget? Apex is working fine for me.
Perhaps it is related to that 2.23 AIO colonel...

You may be on to something here.
I was on the epic modem and stock kernel with no issues. Switched to your setup (KL2/AIO) and boom settings crash. Flashed didhiy's kernel just to see if it was just the AIO, and same thing. I'll do a wipe shortly with just didhiy's kernel to be sure it is in the AIO or if it is a NS4G thing all together.
Edit - Wiped to 2.5, flashed didhiy's NS4G, KL2 Modem, No AIO. Could not get the radio to work, but did not have the issue. So looks like something in the AIO for sure.

Super slick. The font sizes seem to be a little small for me. The font settings seemed to effect the reboot menu greatly, but very little for everything else. I couldn't get wifi to toggle on at all, and that's a dealbreaker for now, as I'm on wifi 90% of the time. Keep in mind that I'm new to this rom and only tried it out for about an hour. I'll get back to it after work tomorrow and get a log if it's needed.
Thanks for the ROM dude. Fast, slick, stable, need i say more? I am having two issues. Any settings made (well most of them) in the aokp settings don't stick. Also the sound keeps switching to vibrate and when i set the volume controls to expandable or anything else, it does not stick either.

The new one works fine. I updated it yesterday. No problems.
Sure would like to give the Rom a try but unfortunately wouldn't work? I followed the directions to the "T" but no go, fails and then want let me wipe anything and I have to take the battery out and reboot into recovery. I'm using the latest version of TWRP. I did a complete wipe before I tried to install..
And there is your problem @blake .I mayhaps you should do some more research before you brick your phone.
