​What is King Kang?​
King Kang is essentially a hybrid ROM - its a mixture of AOKP, CyanogenMod, and ParanoidAndroid, bringing all their customizations to one rock solid and quick ROM. These numerous features combine to create a blend of features not seen anywhere else before. Make the user interface yours with this ROM. Change the DPI the ROM runs at, tweak the interface to your hearts content, while enjoying great battery life and stability. Never before have these features combined to create a ROM as feature-packed as King Kang. Credits for the features goes directly to the teams responsible - AOKP and CM for their respective work, and ParanoidAndroid for their wonderful DPI on-the-fly modifications. How do I install King Kang?
Download the ROM
Reboot into your recovery (TWRP is recommended)
Wipe data if you are coming from a ROM besides King Kang
Flash the King Kang ROM zip
Flash SU zip--> CWM-SuperSU-v0.96.zip
Flash the Google Apps zip
Format your dalvik cache/normal cache
Reboot
Customize your experience to your heart's content!

Latest one for Jellybean (CM10) should work perfectly​Information
Some AOKP features power over the ParanoidAndroid ones. For example, in order to get Tablet UI, you first need to check the "Tablet UI" option in ROM Control, then change it to the desired mode in Paranoid Android, and then reboot.
This ROM began as a creation by DAGr8 for Android 4.0, ICS. It offered a simple AOKP + PA combination.
The ROM is currently being built 100% from source. The "team", a.k.a. people maintaining and adding features from other ROMs are Rohan32 and DAGr8. Without the other teams though, this ROM would be nothing.​Contribute

To enable Tablet UI, you must follow these steps in this exact order!
Code:
1. Rom Control > Nav bar settings > enable nav bar
2. Rom Control > Nav bar settings > change nav bar height to 36 or 40 dp (change for portrait and landscape)
3. Rom Control > General UI > force Tablet UI
4. Paranoid Preferences Settings > Workspace > Tablet UI
5. Reoot to recovery > wipe cache & dalvik cache
6. Reboot
7. Profit???
8. Get creative with paranoid settings dpi/layout settings to
fix launcher and Rom Control settins DPI
BUGS:
This is a WIP, i had some issues with wifi and rotation so i used some files from
Hercules aokp base, so you must keep the stock kernel or you will bork rotation
& possibly wifi-- if you absolutely need a custom kernel you will need to flash one made
for the Hercules phone.

Is the fixed gapps the same as the gapps in your port of Paranoid Android ? I don't really feel like waiting again for this to download if I already have the fixed gapps and what is hovering point with s-pen? Does this only work with s-pen or any stylus ?

Opps.. checked and really. You can call using contact app, select contact and press "call" or download the 3rd party dailer. I will look into this problem these few days, thank you for helping me out for testing

Kay.. I'm running it rite now.. As stated.. WiFi can be fix with terminal emu.. I think it need to be preinstall it'll be handy.. Now when I use hybrid setting like change my ui to phablet and revert to phone ui.. The navbar still exits.. I still searching the option to remove it(any help? xD) and idk what per app la yout option do but it fc when I open it.. And one more when I try to change ringtone media storage and setting fc too..it soft booted me once and now sound is working.. BTW its smooth ROM.. Like the boot animation.. Thanks altered!! It gonna rain ROM in here!!

I have 0 problems. WiFi worked for me on first boot. I turned data off to ensure tha WiFi was truly working. And it seems my resolution is fine. So far, so good!

Good to see another kexec ROM from you Altered, I wish we had more space to fit all these goodies on our phones. Anyways I'll be trying out this ROM, downloading now. Thank you.

I love this ROM...like I said...UI and WiFi worked right off the bat. However I had to remove myself from this ROM due to a lot of frozen black screens. For example, I would go to unlock my phone and only my hardware keys would light up and no display on screen. A lot of apps would just freeze...resulting me to hit the home button which would freeze and inevitably bringing back to the black screen I just explained. Idk if its just because I was a kexec reject or not....?

I've just setup this rom and played with it a bit and so far it's damn good so far! Another great rom altered, rotation working as it should and the bugs are very negligible. Thank you once again! :thumbup::thumbup:

You do not need to flash the kernel if you want to install, however if you want the jbx kernel you have to flash it.

I can't Edit this
"5) just change 'vfat' to 'auto' and 'mmcblk1p25' to 'userdata' (its the same though..)
so that it looks like this

I can Change the Vfat into auto and the other thing into userdata But i can't save and exit cause it says the file is Read ONLY
Installed bmm and did a selective backup also , but when i go to storage and mounts , there is nothing to format the webtop partition .. Can anyone help ?

If Pie Is Enabled Touches Are Randomly Unresponsive As I Even Experienced This On Official Pacman.
Sometimes Reboot Will Be Longer W/just A Black Screen, Give It Time To Boot.
Developer Options: To Enable: Goto Settings>about> Then repeadetly Tap On "build Number" Until Enable Message Appears.
To Speed Up Screen Transitions - Set To 0.5 All Three Scale Options In The Developer Options Page

WIPE?
Full Wipe If Coming From Other Roms
TWRP(latest) Full Wipe = wipe>advanced wipe>"dalvik cache" "data" "system" "cache" "android secure"
I Tested From Full Wipe W/no Issues Not Even The Black Screen Reboot Issue.
2nd Reboot Might Take Longer Than Normal.
You Can Upgrade From Previous SL AOKP W/out Wiping.
If On Previous SL PACMAN :
> SL PACMAN V2.0 Is a "no wipe/format" rom, just flash on top of your current SL PACMAN rom and update your previous byo apps.
>your previous system apps will remain and will be updated accordingly.
>if you added any extra apps to the system/app folder they will remain untouched, eg. the byo apps.
>any previous apps/data you had will still be there and untouched
>you need to replace the homescreen menu phone icon with the one from the app drawer - more info here
> any previous system libs/mods/kernels will be wiped

One question: how did you get it to build the minimal LatinIME.apk? I've been banging my head on it, and I can only get it to build the full one with all the languages, and if I try removing them the build fails.

This rom came from the Galaxy Nexus so it has Nav bar set on as default. Soon as we figure out how to disable we will let everyone know

It's actually in settings like devilhunter said, specifically you have to disable it in two places. First place to go to is the nav bar option in Rom control and set the height to 0 (off). The second place to go is in Hybid settings, scroll down to to bottom where you see the nav bar visibility and and reduce the slider to the left, which will turn it off completely!:good:
Edit: LOL, wrong rom, I thought this was Dirty Unicorns 4.3.1, but it's practically the same way to disable it anyway.

Hmm, I never tested data on any of these roms since I don't use data plans, but if that's so then tell me is there any of the new or even old 4.2.2 roms we have working data for? Let me know and if there's any, then we can use its files to fix SuperNOVA for you

Was working fine on the Mirage rom..and on older roms like aokp, pac..this one ported from galaxy nexus right??..my guess is this mite b a problem common to those ported from galaxy nexus..mirage was from s2..just guessing

Correct, but despite that in terms of any port's telephony and data connection working with our A2, they simply need the same certain files to do it. So here's what I want you to do; make a copy of the SuperNova zip, then open it on your PC with any compression software (e.g. 7zip), then open the Mirage rom zip (or any of the other working ones) as well. You will be copying these files from your working data rom to your cloned SuperNOVA, so copy and replace the following:

system/etc/apns-conf.xml
system/lib/libreference-ril.so
system/lib/libril.so
system/lib/libu300-parser.so
system/lib/libu300-ril.so
If you still don't get data working with those files, then replace these additional lib files:
system/lib/modules/caif_hsi.ko
system/lib/modules/caif_serial.ko
After all of that, simply flash that copy after wiping and that *should* do it. If you still don't have data or even losing your baseband, then I guess you'll have to use another rom with your data plan
