When i had my htc wildfire s i was fan of the miui . I like it now too but i have a lot of problems with it. I would love if any dev could work to get a stable version (one of my problems wa the notification delay XD with was rom related) or if anybody can recommand me a version :laugh: :goodthis is my first thread ..be kind with my english )

Hi,
I've just installed the new MIUI v4 from here on my HTC Desire. I noticed some lag when I use the phone. I really want to know if it's a android version's issue (Desire is ok with GB, I don't know with JB), a rom's issue (Miui v4 is not stable already?), o setting's issue (I'm using Mounts2SD to increase internal space).
Please help me to find the way to understand which the problem is.

I found the problem. the VJ MIUI Rom needs too much RAM (at least 350MB, on 404MB total). Previous MIUI ROM (with GB) takes only 250/300MB. So definitely it's a RAM's issue.

If you want really stable, fast and smooth ROM for HTC Desire, I recommend MildWild (I prefer CM7.2 taste ).

Currently I'm using [DEV][ROM][4.4.2][CM11] KITKAT for LG-P500 [WIP][VER-8] from my experience it's stable enough than the other ROM.
I'm using the 8th release of the ROM and it's the most stable and most fluid UI interaction.

The first one is one of the best I evere tried for this smartphone! nytime has got a little bit of lag but it's normal!!

Mukulsoni's Kitkat is great. I am using it since 8th version. Now it is V10.2. Only suggestion is; uninstall stock Kitkat launcher. It is VERY slow. Jams a lot. I am using Holo Launcher instead. Way faster than Kitkat Launcher.
Currently i use the Mukulsoni's Kitkat V10.2. Very great ROMs
Thank's for suggestion to substitute the Litkat launcher... i'll try Holo Launcher.

i think that there both as stable as they can be, as our libs and HALs are very old which dont help with these issues but we will never see a sense 5.5/6 maximus hd rom because llabtoofer only makes them based on official or leaked firmware but since htc has stopped developing for this phone it is not going to happen
the best place to see what the devs are doing is their threads, there isnt anywhere else you will find this really

Most custom rom here(based on aosp)using 6.6.10 firmware ..
Take a look at yureka thread,they do the same,a dirty build ....,maybe u can use it as base
What is the reason to update just a launcher (frankly speaking MiUI for me is just well designed android launcher) and left an old android 5? Let's just wait for stable ROM from Xiaomi and pray for getting MM.

As OP mentioned its not booting.
dont waste time with this.. they wil probably release a stable build, everyone is going bezerk as there is no dev rom, but they had discontinued dev rom bfr miui8 even released! so chances of getting a stable build is still pretty decent! so no point in doing this
